RP Name: TC REGL Commander Jesse

Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:161934226

Battalion or squad you are applying for: 501st Legion.

Experience:

Former Torrent Company Commander, Former ARCO/Co-ARCL, Current longest serving Commander, Current Regimental Lead, Current Intel Manager, Current ARC-5597 Jesse

Former 212th Engineer Officer, Former 2nd Airborne Executive Officer (Bear), Former 2nd Airborne Lead (Barlex), Former 212th Major

Former Guardian Manager 2x, Former Weapons Specialist Manager 2x, Former Weapons Specialist Overseer, Current Knight of Courage

Former 187th Major and Former 187th ARCO/Acting ARCL

212th:

The 212th was the first battalion that I joined when first joining the server. The 212th was a very good home and an amazing starting place for me on the server as I got to meet some of the greatest role models and the greatest leaders I’ve ever seen in my life. People like Tyennoch, Striker, Jagger, Punisher, and Juicy. All men who changed the game for me and taught me all I know. Everything that has brought me to this point in my Synergy career came from the 212th and the 2ndAC. I first joined the 2ndAC at the rank of CPL where I basically grew up in the server and rose to the top with the help of the family that was Parjai. Bro, Col, Zen, Tyennoch were all role models who I aspired to be. Eventually I not only rose to the rank of Major but I also climbed through the 2ndAC ranks and became the 2ndACL, Barlex. I ended up choosing a new Bear, who is now the current Barlex and XO of the 212th, Alien and I did the best I could within the sub-unit until I had to go on LOA for an extended period of 1 month due to a long family vacation to Europe. After some time, I finally came back and decided to take a different path and I went into Ghost Company, where I resided until I started going through serious family issues and I went on another LOA for 3 months this time, I was stripped of everything and I decided to get a fresh start in another battalion.

187th:

I decided to join the 187th legion and was immediately inspired and taken in by 187th BCMD Sugga. I became a 187th ARC as soon as I could and I began to establish new friendships with the men in the 187th. I was demoted down to Captain since that was the highest rank transfer possible in the 187th, but I did the best I could to help the senior officers and the high command. I rose up alongside great leaders within the 187th, as I witnessed them rise to commander positions. At this point I was promoted back up to Major and then we had “The Great Merge” between the 501st and the 187th.

501st:

Joining the 501st legion actually made me very excited for the new opportunities that the merge would bring, opportunities like: getting to meet new people and making new friends within the 501st officer corps. I was also very excited that with our two battalions merged, we would be one of the biggest battalions on the server and we would always have active members. At the time I was one of two 501st ARCO’s vying for the ARCL position. We had decided to revamp the ARC system by writing a new tryout, establishing new trainings, and re-evaluating ARCs from both the 501st and the 187th. After less than a week, we had filled in all of our remaining ARC slots and it was time to decide the new ARCL. I obviously did not receive the position; however, I was pleasantly surprised when I was not only promoted to Colonel from Major, but I was also made the new Torrent Company Commander. As the new TCC, I was in charge of all of the TC members and I was responsible for choosing new TC Officers. I decided to also revamp the Torrent Company tryout docs, I opened up the new position of Torrent Company Manager, and I filled in the remaining Torrent Company jobs positions and the ones without job slots as well. After about one month in the TCC position, I was promoted to Commander, and another month later, I was promoted to REGL. I finally became ARC-5597 Jesse after three attempts and I was very happy with my position within the 501st. Sugga even told me that I was being looked at for the XO position before his term ended abruptly.

Why should you become a Battalion Commander?:

In my opinion, I should become the next Battalion Commander of the 501st legion because I feel that I am not only very qualified, and I not only have the experience necessary to have proved myself an exceptional leader in-game and in real life, but I also have the experience within the battalion itself and I feel as though I have made a significant enough impact within the 501st legion that I would be a good, confident BCMD for a battalion that is very deserving a good leader. I lead by taking everyone’s ideas and suggestions into account, but I will always have the final say, because if people are constantly arguing and bickering about what to do next, then nothing will ever get done, and I believe that this is a great and efficient way to lead that accommodates as many people as possible while still being efficient in how things get done.

Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?:

I do, and I can explain it to anyone.

Availability:

I have been highly active within the 501st, however I usually won’t be found in-game over the weekdays because of International Baccalaureate classes in high school, varsity sports, leading my own clubs, and working out every day to get in shape for AFROTC in college; however I am always very active on Discord, TeamSpeak, and in behind the scenes work. But, since we are being quarantined and most schools have closed, I will be much more available every day within the next two months until Summer Break where I will be available every day in and out of game.

Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?:

I joined the Synergy CW RP community back in August of 2018, where I joined the 212th and remained in that battalion until about December of 2019, where I joined the 187th and we then merged with the 501st.

Do you have a microphone?:

Yes I do.

Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?:

By the end of my term, I would like my battalion to continue to be one of the most active battalions on the server, with a consistent active population of at least 10 players during events/encounters, even when I am not on. I would also like my officer corps to continue to work alongside my high command in maintaining the peace and prosperity of the 501st legion that it currently holds. There are a few minor adjustments and improvements that I’ve currently been trying to fix, and I plan on fixing them as soon as possible; however, I also plan on running the battalion using my own ideas and the ideas of others as well. The way I lead is that I will take suggestions and ideas from everyone, but I have the final say on what will happen, of course I will try to accommodate as many people as I can, but there will always be someone who is unhappy with me, and I plan on implementing my form of leadership to the best of my ability.

Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?:

I do, and I swear to uphold the standards of activity not just for myself, but for the entirety of the 501st legion.

Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your commander rank?:

 I do.

+1 put Appo back as WO spot. He is a High Command Job, he was used to see how a WO was doing, and it was the perfect job.
