Why should we unban you/shorten the ban period?: When I was here in the community I was very rude and toxic I thought I was being funny to my friends but I realize now I was hurting many people and the community. I posted Gore,  made fun of suicide,  said racial things 24/7, but I believe I changed. In recent events, my life has changed and I found myself feeling like I need to change for the better and just stop being such a bad person.  Also, I wanted to apologize to all the people I hurt and the whole community for the toxicity I brought onto you.
Evidence to support your claims: I have been spending time with friends and family talking more to Nightmare about changing for the better and all I want to do is be back into the community to play with friends again just please give me another chance.

Mike was a good friend, and deserves a chance to come back, he was a dedicated member of the community.

Mike served as several Jedi masters, not just any random person gets to that point.

Served as a staff member for a time being.

Contributed actively to the Synergy community 

 

Honestly his downfall was in the late months, he got a little wild and while I agree caused problems, has grown from that and I believe we could get the same committed person from the early months that Mike once was.

 

Our community is not forgiving enough and if we are on the topic of 'Toxic' as a ban reason, then we might as well chop off 80% of the Military rp community.

I gave up on Mike a long time ago. At every chance he got to be better, while he was here, he stomped on it and ruined many ties with some members. During the later times he was still on the server I questioned how he even managed to not only become a Master but Shaak Ti as well. Not only his attitude but simply the way he was as a person was not a positive one nor a friendly one to those outside of his circle of friends or people with similar mentalities (although not as extreme as his). Through small talk here and there I would comment on how his behavior is poor and he would just brush it off like I'm being naggy.

It says a lot that the only reason to finally cause him to change is being exiled from the Community as a whole, that the only means for him to finally be better is simply to not even be allowed to be here. Maybe he finally took a look in the mirror and realized. Maybe.

+1 I remember when he was my Foxtrot medic back in the day. He isnt a bad guy he was just acting dumb. He could be a minge sometimes, but back in his SOBDE time he improved a lot when I talked to him about it. He also used to work really hard for the squad. A lot of people kept telling me to remove you, but they never had any evidence of you minging so I always defended you until they showed me anything and no one did. This guy can change and deserve another chance.

I'll +1, I've been pretty toxic on here myself and I'm still here, ofcourse mike was worse than me but I think he's had his break away and it's ready for him to return.

I can not forgive you of how you acted to people, you may have changed and may be a lot better but 3 months is to not long enough for what you did to the people here and for me to forgive you for your attitude.

Why should we unban you/shorten the ban period?: I have done some gook shit and got permed originally I was banned for posting a flak gun meme h in my defense there was a video of a man's head exploding because he got run over with a tank that was never touched  and I did make crispy as a account to post memes don't think I can say I posted anything but memes with it and when yesterday I was ts banned I rejoined and later that was banned and sock told me to appeal basically Idc if i'm banned on the forums or the server I'm just out here trying to talk with my homies with extra chromies in the ct channel that's about it sure I may have posted things in bad taste or said things about the server is private discords but hey people have done worse than me and aren't banned so wadya say can I hang with my chromie boys?

I have a really really strong opinion against this man and what he has done, but people do change. He won't. The thing that makes me okay with the ban appeal consists of 2 parts:

1. He proves me wrong and can have fun and be chill with the community

From what I see you were an influential member of this community. I do not agree with the way you acted around people. If the statements @Bobonater3 made are true. Then I'd suggest taking a little more time out to think about what you've done in the past.

Despite this I believe people deserve a chance, I hope this isn't a mistake I'm making. But I'm willing to give you that chance, prove the community wrong and It'll show that you have changed. But if you one day come on and continue the way you've behaved previously then perhaps you'll not be given a third chance. +1

Hello,

I knew mike from my time on the community a long time ago, I was never a friend of him nor did I hate him at all, to be honest I dont even know if its the same Mike, so this opinion is unbias and based of my own actions I made when leaving the community and the results of it.

Firstly, I was a forum memer, I would jump on every now and then post a couple of memes and go from there. Especially when the Overseer rank got beaned, boy I made some pretty good quality memes, but there was a time and place for me to post and share them, and the forums was not one of them.
 

One of my memes was quite toxic actually, I meant for it to be a funny meme based around the issues that had just split and made many people feel shitty but the Director at the time cant remember old mates name Started with an "O" and Jackson pulled me out and had to give me a quick chat, Nothing bad at all apparently they enjoyed my memes they just had to act in the betterment of the community.


Now my memes was not as bad as mike but it still went to Jackson at the end of the day. I believe this was before he was regarded as Founder im not sure. But I was not banned, or kicked, just spoken too. And I believe Mike has realised his wrong doing and should be given a 2nd chance. If he is to slip up again than its as simple as banning him again and denying future ban appeals. But you dont know until you try,

Mike is a very particular type of person, and I get the negative views on the subject of allowing him to come back, but at the same time I get the positives. (The real positive feedback by the way.) Shit sucks and the thing most people are failing to understand about the situation is that Mike is a retard kid doing retard things on the internet. I'm not saying kiss and make up just like that, but in comparison to some other people appealing who are fully grown adults taking the game too seriously to the point of obsession is the opposite of what the case is here. Clearly the 'jokes' or racism and other offenses, (The jokes against suicide, etc.) are from a lack of taking responsibility for what he says and does while he is online.

It's easier for someone to grow into understanding than it is to grow out of an obsession. Therefore, I think Mike should be pardoned of his ban under the understanding of a few guidelines.

These guidelines could be, for example:

• Another month ban on his forum account, in which time he can play on the server and work on his own image by helping out/playing with the newer players that can then form their own opinion of his character and the changes he has stated he has gone through.
•  Strict rules on teamspeak, such as monitoring his use of the soundboard that was a big issue with him before his ban, as well as his interactions with other people in the  server.
• The usual monitoring while online. (When I say this, I don't mean staff harassing him, which happens consistently whenever anyone gets unbanned from anything. I think the monitoring should go both ways, against Mike and for Mike, making sure others aren't trying to provoke him into altercations.)

I haven't really talked to  Mike much but he was a great and funny guy from  what I have seen, personally I haven't even seen him doing anything really naughty. People are calling him a retard to which is EXTREMELY NAUGHTY  and should be fringed upon in this ban appeal.
