  2. What lore are you using to inform this suggestion? Also, is IC having a difficult time keeping up in 41st? From all my time I’ve spent on the server once IC was added it was almost always full. I just can’t get behind the idea that every single subunit needs something added to get “fair” with other ones. I’d like to mention as well, that I believe that the server has too many jobs with jetpacks. While you may not consider a jetpack an “op” suggestion, the advantage it provides in many cases is staggering. If you don’t believe me, ask any GM whose events were ruined by them. This isn’t to say you are making this suggestion in bad faith, just wanted to contextualize the impact that I feel like is going unnoticed. As far as development goes, it wouldn’t be difficult at all. The problem is however, is that each of these jetpacks are an entity. That means extra lag and extra problems. Just imagine an extra 5 vehicles spawned in at all times. This all to say, that suggesting a buff like this for a subunit should truly only be done when all else fails. Under any amount of scrutiny, the reasoning for such a change falls apart. Unless you have info that I don’t, I don’t see the need nor importance of a change like this.
  3. Not every model has c_hands. Kind of a pain to configure them, and if a model doesn't already have it, to go back and make them takes a bit of time. Even if you did go back and do it, then someone doesn't compile something properly, or there are materials missing, or Xaze says you are just friends and that your romantic advances are creeping him out... ya know the usual stuff.

  8. Being a Forum Admin, I am someone who has access to very personal and sensitive information of the users on this site. As such, I am disgusted by this conduct. There is no situation nor conversation, in which threatening someone with their IP address is warranted. I don't care if you weren't associated with Synergy at the time, this is not something I would want to see from anyone in a position of power. -1

  11. I’m going into my first year of college, majoring in business administration. In my spare time, I game and model, which means I need some juice in whatever machine I get. My priority is battery life and s p e e d. I have a budget which caps at around 3k. Let me know what y’all think.
  12. Firstly, I'd like to say that there is certainly areas in which the development and leadership team can pick up on. However, in many cases suggestions are at the bottom of any priority we may have at a given time. In most cases, we are busy with handling bugs, currently accepted suggestions, new projects, or things for an upcoming update. Just for transparency's sake, and to offer you an idea as to how we handle suggestions, I drafted up what is the usual process that we go through. We can essentially split suggestions into 4 sections: ADDON[S] FROM WORKSHOP - These suggestions encompass any content that was not created nor developed by Synergy, that is currently on the workshop In most cases, nearly all of these suggestions are QOL (quality of life) changes QOL changes in general are put much farther down the priority list QOL changes will only be accepted if it has a substantial number of comments, and they are positive i.e. if a suggestion has 2 comments, it will either be left to rot, or outright denied Every addon needs to go through a rigorous inspection by Baron, Xaze, and others This is to ensure there are not glaring issues, bugs, exploits, etc. In many cases, the addon next needs to be stress tested in various ways Once this is done, the addon will be prepped to implement into main JOB/KIT CHANGES - These suggestions revolve around pre-exsisting content, which would be adjusted, added, removed, etc. Changes regarding weapons are highly contentious, and a large focus is put on balance All gun additions especially need to be balanced to current loadout and perma-weapon structure Things such as changing a gun / utilities stats would also fall under this catagory As stated before, these suggestions are VERY low on our priority list, especially when the have 4< comments. OOC CHANGES - These would include things such as: Rules Ranks Permissions etc. These are changes that in many cases, simply can be accepted by a director Things such as rank require a dev's intervention in order to work These changes also may be delayed due to issues with implementation Typically however, because of this, these suggestions will get changed far faster than others CUSTOM CONTENT - This is the term used to describe anything developed by and for Synergy This would include: Models [Sculpting] Modeling Texturing Rigging Compiling QA etc. This is an example of what a typical routine looks like for making a model [Give or take a few steps depending if you re-use assets] The process of modeling can be VERY tedious, especially when working with source For this reason, unless the suggestion is very important, it will be pushed down the priority list Example of an important change, assuming it was well received by the community: Lore character additions Clear and defined missing aspect of characters gear Any glaring QOL issues needing a change LUA Changes to pre-exsisting systems WiltOS HUD Helix Brand new systems Clans & Contracts Quests Conceptualize Developing GUI QA Hopefully this clears up some of what we do.   14. Hey y'all, just curious what your favorite clone concept art was. Particularly stuff we haven't in TV or movie adaptations! Personally, mine would be early clone commando designs.

  16. Love these changes. Only issues I see is bacta nades. I don't see what stops any subunit from requesting their designated medic to have bacta nades as well, if given to Aven. Unless you have reasoning past "he is the medic".
