  1. Name: Brian Limmond RP Rank: 1SG Suggestion: Add this map because it looks cool and has functionality Implementation: Halo aesthetic = star wars aesthetic imo, very big fan of how this map looks, would be some very good events here if added. Lore: deez Workshop content if applicable: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2349794583
  2. pls give more money so people can get some of the stupidly overpriced guns +1
  3. Name: Brian Limmond Who helped (If applicable): N/A Link to Event/Encounter Document (optional): N/A Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): General Grievous arrived on Anaxes with the intend of securing the Republic base, he and his forces managed to do so, but as he slaughtered more and more Jedi and Clones, he got pushed back inch by inch until his forces were in complete retreat whereby he retreated to his flagship before that was boarded and he had to escape in his fighter. Did any Bounty Hunters Participate: N/A
  4. Name: Brian Limmond RP Rank: 1SG Suggestion: Allow particle effects to be viewed by players who weren't looking directly at them as soon as they were spawned in Implementation: Right now, noone can actually see the particle effects that are placed in events if they weren't looking directly at them as they were spawned in, meaning GMs can't plan where they are going to place them ahead of time and, if they do, have to be extremely precise about when they do so, and even then will still find players who looked away don't see them. For effects as subtle as particle effects, you can't really put a massive amount of effort into where they will be while you are actually running the event, so they are best duped and places before hand baring lag in mind. As it stands, you would need a whole GH with a very very precise plan explained to them who will focus solely on placing particle effects if you want to properly utilize them in an event, which sucks because the particle effects we have look really cool and they basically go completely unused/unnoticed. 5. Idk if this is what you mean or not, but if you manually deleted some files with the intention of validating your game files, you could try just doing the automatic way of right clicking on gmod in your steam library, properties, local files, verify integrity
  6. The main question people look for you to answer in ban appeals is whether or not you might do what you did again. Given the fact that what you did is so serious and all you've really said a bunch of times is that it was a stupid thing to do and you won't do it again, I'm definitely not confident you won't just do something like this at another point in the future. It's only been 2 weeks, it's hardly as if you've changed as a person and it seems more like you're sorry you were punished rather than you're sorry that you did it.
  7. Name: Brian Limmond RP Rank: 1SG Suggestion: Add placeable ship turrets to be used by GMs in events, similar to the ones built in to venator extensive Implementation: We already have a version of what this could be with the artillery strike weapon, which spawns the venator ship cannons and shoots turbo lasers, albeit in the form of, well, an artillery strike. All that would need to be done is to make a varient of these turrets that are pilotable and allow them to shoot straight, players be able to aim them, and possible make them destructable. This would help GMs do actual naval events that make sense on maps other than venator extensive, which is currently the only one they can utilize turrets on. Lore: Ships had turrets Workshop content if applicable: Requires development
  8. That does not get rid of the servers hud Mr guacamole
  9. Name: Brian Limmond RP Rank: 1SG Suggestion: Add a command to disable hud in either the tab menu or f4 menu Implementation: Right now we can't create media on the server like neat little cinematics or screenshots without cropping out most of the screen, if we had a command to disable hud, it wouldn't be a massive priority but would go a long way for the situations in which it would be useful. Lore: N/A Workshop content if applicable: Requires Development
  10. Congratulations! You have been ACCEPTED into the Game Master team! // LOCKED // MOVED TO GAME MASTER APPLICATIONS - ACCEPTED
  11. I wasn't aware there were any? Unless you are talking about with collisions in which case I always notarget said props otherwise they just wouldn't work, and regardless of whether or not the long list of tools can be fixed it's still not like adding this one, very useful tool is going to make any significantly worse difference to said list
  12. Name: Brian Limmond RP Rank: MSG Suggestion: Add the weight tool Implementation: Since this was denied before only due to the perception that it just wouldn't be used beyond a couple weeks and that there isn't any interest in it, the very existence of this suggestion should go a bit to probe otherwise lol, I keep finding myself constantly in situations on the server where I need to use the weight tool, every single time I try to weld any prop to a vehicle or unfreeze it to fall or be picked up by players, its default weight is rarely compatible with my intentions. Please just add this very basic tool already, it's hardly going to significantly add to the already really cluttered insanely long list of useless tools we have on the server and would easily rank above half of them in terms of utility. 14. Tbh the only benefit they have over another system is that they are unbiased as you say. It's very unrewarding when you can just do /advert for tryouts without actually doing one a bunch of times and move up rather than actually getting involved and making yourself noticed, sometimes bias is a necessary evil when it comes to viewing things on a case by case basis, which is something that is obviously a very useful tool people can utilize in a community this small
  15. I don't really care about or understand the whole whether it's better to have a merit system or not, but I know that the only reason I don't really main my clone anymore is because merits made it feel sooooooooo boring like a chore and I completely fell out of the grindset after a few weeks
  16. Haven't used it personally, but just looking at those pictures that is a verrrry nice aesthetic, perfect for swrp +1
  17. People play Gmod in 2022 without CSS??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  18. Name: Brian Limmond Who helped (If applicable): N/A Link to Event/Encounter Document (optional): N/A Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): The CIS camped their coreship in the courtyard of anaxes without realising the base was manned, when the Republic opened the door they got heavily invaded by said army but pushed into the core ship and whittled down their forces before the CIS got an opportunity to escape. 19. 6/10, I mean it's obviously fun to just break out into PvP but it's hard to get excited for an event that's just "what if order 66" so soon after one was last done, these should be saved for occasions or done sparsly so they don't lose impact IMO
