Name: Gears Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:60934809 Ban Reason: MRDM Date of Ban: 04/21/2023 Length of Ban: 5 Days Staff Member(s) Involved: Ollie Rohan Reason(s) why we should accept your appeal: I personally believe its a automatic protocol ban that VAs were required to do, Damned if they do Damned If they dont. For this id like to give context on this ban. I had intention of killing a group of droids through a rayshield, which some then reccomended charging a kyber slam. For which I said to the whole group that I would do it. I then said "Kyber in 20 seconds" as a fair warning to those who were jumping and running about. I gave a second warning of my Kyber Being almost charged.. I said something along the lines of "Kyber almost charged get ready".. Soon after I then ignited my saber and waited 3 Seconds saying Im going to do it. I then proceeded to kyber slam, mistakingly not taking my surroundings into count and not judging the AOE this Kyber gives (Reason being, I dont think ive used Kyber once during my Windu) addtionally I was about to die with grenades being thrown at me, so it was very much a split second decision to kyber after igniting for atleast 3 Seconds. In all context this was an accident, Judging by OOC alone, No one really cared or rather saw harm in it. I wasnt TPd for my Sit for 5 minutes. The Deployment went on like normal. People were laughing and Ive had people telling me this wasnt a big deal. While I understand staff have a job to do and I respect their decision after appealing to Staff's COC and fighting my case, I feel like I didnt cause considerable harm and wasnt malicious in my actions. While I do regret not taking better care of my Kyber in this situation, I believe this very much like to giving warnings for Grenades, Rocket Launchers, Diamond Storm and someone running into fire, except in this case I gave fair warning and everyone around me was aware. Its also good to point out I have a Jedi telling me they were using Force Absorb to block the Kyber to not take damage, Which I thought was actually a thing. You can actually reflect a Kyber Slam and kill the user with their own Slam. So I assumed this was the case. So in this case, People died from thinking they could block it and people died while ignoring my warnings. Lastly Id like to say Im not bothered about the 5 Days here, If I have to wait this about then Im perfectly fine with it. However Id like to give my case and context in this situation and have this appeal accepted so that consequences here arnt effecting what is possible alot of work ive put in and if this appeal is denied, Ill happily eat dirt and own it. But I gotta fight when I feel this is a harsh outcome to what was a accident and something which warning was giving. Evidence to support your claims: I believe one Jedi can give their case of using Force Absorb and thinking they could survive. As I said, I thought that was possible myself.

+1 anything to get people to do more on the server. I hope they review the Jedi Trees at the same time.

Implementation: To put into an example, The Player would need to play for 1 Hour in game time to be able to claim their Daily Login Reward. However those who do it multiple days in a row, would get more credits for those who dedicate more time to the server. Ex: 1 Day - 10K Credits 2 Days - 15K Credits 3 Days - 20K Credits .... 7 Days (Max) - 40K Credits I think this system would be alot better as it rewards those who get on the server daily and potentially incentivises people to get on more often. Which could in effect benefit the population of the server. The example above is just an example and could be modified for a better incentive or to balance out the input of money to the server.

I mean im sorry for saying it like it is. Every time a sturcture changed happened with SG, It was pointless. There isnt a need for one. Just need a Lead and a bunch of Senate Guards. Its not a battalion. But imagine that, over time my opinion changed on how Senate Guard should be.. Shock I know. Just telling you from experience. I just personally find Senate Guard utterly useless these days. DS could do a way better job as Senator Protection. Senate Guard is just silly now.

Ok. I guess im gonna be the dick here. Why should Senate Guard get more than Diplomatic Services? Infact.. Why should resoruces be invested into a subunit of a subunit when a more important area of the server within CG could benefit. Senate Guard was meant to be a small and insignificant part of the server and now you want to put armor into them, create a whole ranking structure and run them like a battalion? Im sorry but as far as Im aware and also my time as Mas Amedda, Founders do not want more put into the Senate Guard and also are explicit about them being ran as if they were a proper expanded section. Imo more should be done with the Senate to work with dplomatic services. Senate Guard shouldnt get more than a proper subunit whos job should be defending and protecting senators. -1

I've been sitting on this for a couple days now reflecting on the countless actions the group you were involved in. Some of them were vile, disrupting and just unforgivable.. yours weren't unforgivable. See, you recently tried to make contact with me again, now the only reason I didn't allow you to is because there's still a member in that group going after me and has resorted to getting other non banned community members in on it. I thought you were another one, so please excuse me for that. There are 2 ends of this group, the 1 side that are still completely vile and deplorable and don't deserve to ever come back. The other side is one who waited their time and begged forgiveness to those they have harmed, you are fortunate to be on this side. For people to know, 2 months after his ban he did infact approach me and he did give a genuine apology, I had my guard up and was slightly skeptical if you were legitimate. I think now I can see it was. Hansen I think you made some dumb mistakes, some which will still come back to you even when your unbanned, you will have to deal with these mistakes on the regular, trust me cause I personally know very well. But in terms of your ban, you made a gold standard of how to approach an appeal, you seeked forgiveness you laid it all out and you waited your time. For that I feel you pass in my opinion. Don't feel discouraged to approach me on teamspeak, I'm sure we can catch up and see where you wanna go in synergy. +1 he's suffered enough.

You and your group are genuinely the worst people I have had to deal with, in senate, teamspeak and discords, your group has blown every single bridge they could of possibly had. I have have dealt with toxic members, HAs getting people removed, literal gore spam and my own windu attempting a power play behind my back. You guys take the top prize, without a doubt. No apology, no remorse and no improvement will ever change my mind that you and your group should never be allowed back. Move on and find another community that will regretfully accept you. -1

Aaron, Imma keep it real with you. You obviously deserve a answer, But that answer was already offered on teamspeak. The only reason you want this publicly is so you can start a fight with them and incite drama, You did in previous forum posts and during a community meeting. If you want a answer, go to them.
