  1. to clarify the purpose of this rule It was implemented because when CCs join a battalion they require TS, for those who are not willing to get it at the beginning are typically not inclined to continue on the server, and we are seeking members who want to RP and stick around, not screw around on CT for a bit then leave. an added benefit happened to be able to talk without interruptions of in-game people/ such as talking over each other, but that was not the main reason for the implementation. Personally I dislike the concept, and think it was much more viable to train someone in-game, they enjoy the server, decide its worth sticking around and get TS and join a battalion. I much prefer the tried and true way of in-game training, although the decision making on this rule was from @Joah who implemented it, maybe he can shed more light on it :) (idk if I hit the core reasons it was added).

This post hurts me, the argument, the ban reason, the video, everything... @Enzyme why you perma banning this guy? the conversation that was happening is weird as hell, but regardless there were several better alternatives people can mute him kick him from the channel black list him demote him offer up punishment if he continues the conversation or just ignore him.. Consent also has nothing to do with this, what lmao? if anything it could be qualified as harassment, but so is yelling at a person in ts for fucking up in a sim. Overall Analysis this is dumb as shit. unban him, blacklist him from 501st, problem solved.

Name: Sock Monkey RP Rank: General / Versock Clan Leader Suggestion: Remove Bounty Hunters from the server Implementation: While the excursion we went on with the bounty hunters was no doubt a blast, and if given a chance to go back in time, I'd +1 it again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately bounty hunters has faltered, with the excessive rules and documents, the departure of the visionary(Sanchez), The bounty system, motivation to play bounty hunter/ BH RP, and server as a whole has led to the collapse of bounty hunter. Documents/ Doc Upkeep Currently there are 5 separate documents and 3 forms in the public document channel in bounty hunter discord When you want become a BH, besides already touching up on the ~15 page rules and regulations, and 4 page BH ROE, you are then introduced to a 5 page bounty mission guide, and 1 page daily bounty claim limit info, as well as an excel spreadsheet of like 10 tabs, regarding everything with BH, overwhelming I know, and once you have all that down you're set to play BH and begin completing bounties!! When BH first started, keeping up with the demand of bounties and updating the docs was an absolute struggle, with none of the cabinet (mostly) knowing how to work the doc, let alone the 'Intel' who've probably done a whopping 0 things cause like none of them were taught how. Creator Sanchez had a vision, BH would be on the server, lawless, manipulative, up to trouble, a stake in the Republics side, with the potential to exploit BH greed for momentum in the ongoing war with the CIS for the Republic At the release of BH, Sanchez was prepared, he created all of the docs above (for the most part) and unlike Sith, it was smooth at launch, people got BH trained and all started having a good time, Sanchez dedicated lots of his time(LOTS) updating docs, interpreting rules for people, adding new rules, while the first Guild Leader got burnt out and left at launch sadly. As Sanchez faded off, it seems that full decision making fell on Palpatine(making ROE only) and the Cabinet/Guild leader, which led to issues of rules being interpreted differently by different people, and changes being made and not properly announced (ROE was weird at first, who can place bounties was a big issue, etc..) Sadly this idea fell with its creators drifting. Bounty System Yay welcome to BH Here fun bounties to do! Don't worry, you're more than welcome to go /me a few plants and take pictures to post to a form to get some 'renown' which makes you better?? BH bounty system feels like doing time killer side quests, except the game never implemented anything to keep track of it, so you have to go log it all on docs that get manually updated (not ripping on the cabinet at all they worked very hard) which can take some time due to the volume. If you're questioning the activity and use of the bounty system or activity of BH as a whole, the last cabinet bounty created (from when this was made 3/15/2020) was 3/9/2020 and there were 11 posted, with 12 total bounty hunters completing them (the times claimable for each is 5) so 12/55. (I don't even see a commission bounty for the month of March). Motivation/RP When we hop on BH we expect to get all our friends and run around and have a good time doin bounties, fighting enemies, and making renown/credits. This does not happen though it ends up being 3 BH adverting to the Republic if they need help with anything as they loiter around the front gate of the base and do cringe RP with clones as they try to get in so they can go complete bounties that require them in the base This leads to a cycle of BH acting friendly to the republic/being friendly, going in doing all the /mes, collecting all the bounties, and leaving. Server Currently as a Clone Wars RP server, that focuses exclusively on the Republic, it gives no purpose to the bounty hunters, as there is one faction, and NPC event jobs, if there were 2 or more factions or this was CW DarkRP, BH would work out and have a real use on the server, but its not, which makes BH purpose minuscule at best. Conclusion I loved the idea of BH, sadly, under several circumstances, it has become unnecessary for the server, the only way I see it working is if actual dev work went into a GMOD addon or game mode that gave it an in-game bounty system and in-game renown and stuff the doc upkeep was a temporary replacement, but has grown cumbersome with so many different ones needed to complete a task. Overall the excessive documents, departure of Sanchez, sub par bounty system, motivation and RP of bounty hunters, and Synergy as a server and its separate issues has led to the fall of BH, unsalvageable in my opinion. Add or Change: Remove all BH faction jobs (not event jobs pls :) ) Final Comments It was super fun while it lasted, a break from clones, and I still would no doubt support the addition to future separate factions, don't take this as we did with Sith as a bad thing, BH was a fun, good idea, but its vision and expectations couldn't be met with the capabilities of GarrysMod The people that worked hard on this did a fantastic job, and I appreciate all the effort they did to make BH enjoyable for the time it was out. But none the less a project we tried and didn't work out like we wanted, hopefully the future will see other bright ideas like BH that make our server stand out from the rest! I know BH only came out about a month and a half ago, but no point keeping something around when its clear that its not likely to improve or have a random resurgence of active players again.

Name: Sock Monkey RP Rank: General Suggestion: Make an event job called republic trooper, and whenever a battalion is removed add a few models as body groupers to it. just tryin to get clone event jobs so events can be more fun (no toolgun colored clones) and if people have a connection to the battalion they can at least have some release of pain knowing their battalion will still be on the server in spirit as an event job. Also will feel less like we wasted money on a model as it will still be put to use. Name: Sock Monkey RP Rank: General Suggestion: make 187th an event job battalion Implementation: First off this has nothing to do with the activity of the battalion, they are doing good, its just not really a battalion that should be here in the first place (kinda just added cause RyanTR and a bunch of old community members who only joined for like a week and left wanted it). and didn't have anything unique really about them. It was popular a bit at the start and now they've kinda just been dragging themselves along, with no real place on the server. There is always backlash when a battalion is put up for removal (for good reason), and there are always people who join a battalion because it looks cool, or they like the lore behind it, or the people in it, etc. To address this issue, we've never really had an 'event' dedicated battalion, a battalion that event jobs could hop on and be used instead of always using the CT job and coloring the job, or just changing a name and using the CT job. I hope this would be enough to keep the people around who enjoy the battalion and dont want to see it completely go, and it will provide a battalion that is accessible to GMs for event ideas. There is an equilibrium capacity of battalions we should have and I believe that we are over that equilibrium, this will help get us closer Example Model: If we take all the current battalions (not including CTs, SOBDE, BO, Jedi, HC, Senators, event jobs, or sub battalions) there are currently 11 battalions, if we had 128 members on the server evenly spread out among these groups its about 11.6 members per battalion, with the reduction of 1 battalion (187th) it would change that number to 12.8 per battalion, which is about 1 new member per battalion, which does not seem like a lot but can have a big impact. It also reduces the amount of higher ranks on the server, as new members will have fewer battalions to join it becomes more difficult to rise the ranks as slots are more likely to be full, which encourages hard work rather than just being the only active or available person to pick from in the battalion. Currently all other battalions (besides Shock) have a sub battalion, and for a small amount of time 187th did, the 35th, but as we saw it failed and got 'removed' because it could not be properly managed, not to say it could or could not be managed now, but it just adds another incentive to remove because its not even important enough to have a sub battalion. as mentioned below for the 'Lore:' section, I dont really think its that important on the server, but I also want to point out that 187th is the only battalion with an unnamed commander, and furthermore does not have any named jobs, its literally just 101 slots that have no purpose and would not really negatively impact the server if they were moved out (not really an acceptable argument, but just wanted to throw it out there cause this probably matters to some people I guess...) Now to touch on the cons, as most suggestions have flaws this one does as well, we could see all the 187th members jump ship and use their ability to leave the community as a protest of the removal (we've seen it before, and I have no doubt we'd see it now), It also as mentioned above does decrease the options new CTs have when they decide to select a new battalion and they may be set on being 187th and since it does not exist potentially leave to find a server that has it Overall though, I strongly believe that the pros of making the battalion an event job outweigh the cons, and would benefit the server in the long run: through event options, reduction of a battalion, reduction of HC/Officers, and ultimately just cuts off some 'dead-weight' from the server. Lore: Lore is not important on the server.... Ex. tfa_e5 (Get this from the Q menu) Other: There is also the theory that for every battalion added there is a reduction of the population of the other battalions, and the other way around, for every battalion removed other battalions are expected to have a larger population. kinda relevant to this, I dont want to see people post server suggestions to add a new battalion and be like "IT CAN REPLACE 187th" because this is reducing a battalion from the server as a whole, not opening up a slot to add a new one, so anyone that does that is dumb and i'm calling you out rn for trying to argue it...

Name: Sock Monkey Suggestion: Allow the TRD tag to edit server group permissions to the TR branch tags - TR/TRO/TRM/TR of the Week (be able to remove tags of people offline) Where would this be implemented?: In team speak, for the TRD tag How would this benefit the TeamSpeak/Community?: This would benefit the community because the TRD would be able to remove TR/TRO/TRM from people who have left so if they come back they don't have powers they shouldn't. Also don't want to bother HAs or have to get added to the HA tag every time I want to remove someone Have you asked for Feedback from others about this suggestion?: Others agreed I should have access to this and I have received the HA tag from high staff a few times to do this Briefly explain why this should be implemented?: So I don't have to get the HA tag every time a TR/TRO/TRM resigns or gets removed from the program/ I don't have to wait for that individual to connect to remove tags, can do it if they are offline

Never thought this would change, glad you guys are trying to be more lenient. the 3rd one is by far the best option, small/petty rule breakings should never amount to a permaban, and should always carry the same max penalty, or lower depending on staff discretion. @Forseen s tier idea for more serious offenses could not be better put, that's the standard that should be set. (though high staff will have to determine everything considered a minor and large offense and how long a ban can be for each one so all staff is on the same page) and for offenses such as ddos, other server advertisements, doxxing, and other things that genuinely cause harm to the server and its players, perma bans can be considered. +1 thank you guys for moving in the right direction with how you go about bans. Also would this exonerate everyone in the past who have perma bans for multiple offenses or other not as severe offenses? @Carter

This was my post on the last Egg Gree App (idk why quality is bad, if u click on it, it makes it better) What I can say from this, is that since Egg has left 41st has not caused as much drama (after logic) but thats not because they got better as a battalion, its because they have fallen off, they've become the same drone battalion as most others, barley active, random officers, not in a good state ... As much as I didn't like a lot of the old 41st members I would sure as hell take the old 41st to the one that exists today... they were a major battalion with lots of say in the community, with lots of dedicated members and many who respected them, but now they are just a battalion that only has survived since Egg left because they are just a lore based battalion, kinda sad.... As I say in my old post, im not a fan of Egg, but he knows how to run a battalion, I just hope that if Egg becomes Gree that it goes back to what it once was (minus all of the bad stuff lmao) +1 frigg off randoms who are salty Egg is back, its honestly for the best

The only things that should ever warrant a permaban are dox and ddos threats, advertising other communities, exploiting, and being such a burden on the community that real harm is done.. rdming and talking trash in ooc should not warrant that, I'd never want a good amount of this community to become a judge of any kind yall are harsh as hell. regardless of if he was a new member or not if someone rdmd, nitrp and disrespected they would get like a week or two. there needs to be a standard for max punishments or those who think they have ultimate power will be unjust with bans. and decide for themselves how to ban someone. This getting entirely denied will set a precedent of higher timed bans for lower crimes/rulebreakings reduce the ban time to what it should have been in the first place +1

Overall it just seems like an extremely unnecessary rule that leads to pointless bans ( THIS IS NOT IMPLYING THAT REFERENCING ORDER 66 INGAME SHOULD BE ALLOWED IC, THAT WOULD STILL BE FAILRP)

  17. So there is a HUGE issue I do see with this.. Server Stats, if I have someone with half of their stats on the event server to face off in the BVB they are gonna get destroyed and it will only be fun for the team that has the advantage (yall denied my server suggestion so ur fault) so when it comes to cutting people with low stats I understand that 100%. Cutting people so it is the best people playing, is honestly sad, I dont think it should ever happen and members should always be able to participate if they have an opportunity (assuming max stats are present). BUT just because it is immoral and should not happen, does not mean it should be restricted, if battalion higher ups decide thats what they want to do, you cant stop them. There are always ways around the system, everyone can disconnect from TS, leave the game, and just have the good people stay on. -1 its not possible to stop this from happening, and all we can do is frown upon the Battalions that choose to do it.
  18. There is an idea in law, that's called the Reasonable Person Standard pretty much implies that a level headed person would understand common rules and ideas to be considered bad/ not allowed. I would very easily classify spoiling movies on a community as part of the reasonable person standard, as any reasonable person would know that spoiling a movie that is widely popular for others is wrong and it does not have to be written down or explained to them. Some people wait months or years for movies to come out, and for someone to decide to discuss it publicly when it just released is 'fucking retarded' -1 being banned for 1 month is gracious of the community in my opinion. (its also sad that y'all actually put it in the CC room as a rule, very unnecessary) 'Ignorance' is not a good defense

I'd assume you would just have whatever your increase is? that's why I proposed a 400 health increase to all jobs and 250 armor, so if you had 200 health from base and bonus then they would just add 400 more from that. Since bonuses are already in place on the event server everything will just be increased the same on each job so bonuses would stay..

Name: Sock Suggestion: Remove event server skill points for health and armor Edited Addition: Since we would have to delete all the skill points, I would like to argue that even though Jump and Speed will be lost on the event server, that is actually a good thing. It means that gamemasters will be able to make more intricate events that take longer to get through rather than just getting plowed through by quick boys. Will make the event server based on skill for BVB and make events actually challenging and a little more difficult than what it is currently. Implementation: remove skill points for health and armor and instead give every job a 400 health and 250 armor increase. (Only on event server). With the current set up it is really disheartening and unenjoyable to an extent, for newer players in the community (who dont have max health and armor). to hop on to an exciting 1 life event to get instantly 1 shot and have to leave, or to not be able to participate in a BvB because their battalion does not want to lose, so they get cut. By equalizing the event server health and armor it allows for everyone no matter how new or old to have a good time, without the restriction of credits and time. This will not impact main server skill points, those will remain the same. Assuming it's possible, jump and speed skill point upgrades will also remain on the event server!!!!
