This is greatest server suggestion I’ve ever seen. +1, Not only does this affect the average player but new players. A huge part of joining a battalion is wanting to go after a specific job. Rn it’s relying on a CT seeing someone active on (for example: a battalion ARF) and that alone peeking interest. With an F4 menu that ct can simply scroll through all the jobs and models and just say I want to be that, and join that specific battalion.

Alphas full. And has been for like 2 weeks before they added the 2 new ones. - With that the people that stepped down when void resigned caused openings. This is also just seemingly a bash of alpha lmao? Piff hit the nail on the head. Its op cuz it’s rancor? Anybody with a Jetpack should be getting flack. Wolfpack actually gets good kits also. What’s up with that are they op? The ARC kit? All the base weapons are terrible in comparison and are rarely used by anyone with perma weapons to begin with. All in all, it’s two characters and alpha is severely important to the way rancor functions. There isn’t much for rancor and it’s already at a disadvantage because of the way lower enlisted works with new players. Also best not let me catch a battalion in a slump or it’s no new fresh content for them! How dare they! +1

Ah, Undoubtedly +1 Strong leader, which is needed in a position like palpatine. I wont go into specific's so arguments don't happen, but people using "I don't want you to be the top command" as a reason is kinda cringe, especially with Palpy and Marshall being equals now. Also reading about examples of "toxic leadership" with no examples of such except for explaining you were shot down for an idea? Leaders are humans, not robots.

+1 I’ve known bleach for a couple years now, and he has matured significantly. I’ve seen him deal with situations, realizing what situations calls for what kind of a response. His leadership capabilities are there, he cracks jokes and he’s decently active. I believe he will be a positive influence on rancor as Blitz.

I guess my understanding is a military role (marshal commander) is 110% supposed to be under (lower than) a senate role - especially the supreme chancellor. And it was to my understanding that it was common knowledge palpy is just a third director. With similar responsibilities aside from the staff portion. Marshal commander is like the high command XO, while palpy is like a high command BCMD. - This is my personal observed understanding IMO wouldn’t it make sense to just have senior commanders then? At this point what is the high command work load aside from the weekly announcements and what is affecting the workload now? Do you think the current vacancies being filled will assist the current balance issue of the high command workload? I don’t mean for this to sound douchy even though it seems douchy. Just got some questions.

I see, I’m only able to find one time I -1’d your staff application/ server suggestion in the last year, and I’m fairly certain I -1’d it because we were in a battalion or I talked to you and you were toxic in return. I’m also having difficulty remembering the situation you’re specifically recalling so I’m just going to link this - It’s changed since then, but the duties and responsibilities of a SA include banning, if you were already banning someone or dealing with said minge then there would be no reason for me to get involved / if I was on the server I was probably more than likely busy with something else. Navy was alot / Left the server for a while. Why do you want to rejoin the staff team? There are alot of benefits to me as well that come from holding a position in the staff team, which include, better utilizing my freetime, utilizing the contructive part of my brain (because writing only does so much) and assisting the server at a lower echelon level within the staff team. I am quite fond of this server and enjoy assisting it in any way I can. The main reason I would like to join the staff team again, is to become a game master. Being a game master has always been my favorite aspect of the server and I miss having the creative freedom, as well as ability to entertain the entire server. When I got on again, after finally being able to use my PC the first thing I wanted to do was go to the F4 menu and look at all the cool new models, and this may be a gripe but my biggest issue is the new job selection process. - In no way am I trying to bash the time and effort the devs and founders put into the change - However it just feels like a huge change that takes away from the simplicity of a GMod rp server. I think it’s cool but I believe being able to see the jobs and battalions/ models before joining a battalion added more of an opinion/ being able to see a certain job and then make that your goal before joining. Idk that’s probably just me. I haven’t been able to get on a lot recently but population was down and when I did get on the server in the last couple days (a Friday at around 6pm / 7pm ) What used to be a prime time it just seemed like not a lot was going on and I couldn’t even find someone to recruit me to a battalion. I guess the last part was just bad timing on my own. realistically I believe my whole issue I’ve seen so far From a recent returned players stand point is how complicated the servers become with the new job menu / process. It adds more immersion but just makes it feel like something else, rather than a gmod server.

fyi, when I read this I remembered coming back last year and you still being around, After I had already left and come back several times. It’s crazy how much you’ve achieved and how hard working and genuinely nice of a guy you are. It was fun when I got to help with your events and stuff back in the day, and times like that are what really pull at me to come back to the server. It sucks that you’re gone now and I feel like a lot of the times from that period of the server are also over but I hope you have fun in life. GL out there man.

Honestly I don’t understand how people still put lore so high this far into the server. If everything was lore accurate why tf would all these battalions (literally a giant percentage of the republics army at this point) all be gathered in one small base on one minor planet? Why is Gregor a bcmd? Why are there dead lore characters running around etc etc etc. Its never going to be 100% lore accurate, if it works it works. Havoc squad is kinda sus and horn company is cool and has been on screen. That kind of clout makes a difference in motivation to pursue an avenue of a battalion, knowing it existed and isn’t 100% made up. +1
