There was a warning given out on 5/9 for Xp Farming/abuse Then to find out there was an exploit that he failed to report and instead shared with a few and continued do said exploit in which he had known was for testing purposes from prior HS experience Seems pretty plain and simple to me, willing exploiting and not reporting is a no no You seem to be so lost its insane to call it accidental is insane, We have logs of him trying 14 times changing values to try and continue abusing its not accidental that's intentional and to say its just credit farming faster is insane and a crazed take. WILLING EXPLOITING SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED and will not be. Had he reported it, entirely different story. This isn't his first time a warning was given, this isn't breaking PTS in debrief

Why was Kaiser banned, what dictates farming? Is it when someone threatens to topple the server credit monopoly that high staff hold? #BigCityRiseUp Also why does credit exploiting result in a ban? Why not a wipe and hot patch? Give Warnings? Alright We are going to put a stop to this now @ClipperTheHVY First off I am going to reiterate everything stated by @Woeny Kaiser was banned for exploiting a developmental command he learned while he was a Head Admin. This command is used to fast forward through a quest in order to reach specific parts quickly and ensure htey work. This is supposed to only ever be done for testing and not for monetary gain. Kaiser remembered this command and was documented using it MANY times to complete quests immediately rather than actually play them. If I recall correctly (if i'm mistaken i apologize.) he also used the command to skip the cool down of quests so that he could continuously do this. Any sort of credit exploitation has ALWAYS been a community ban with several high profile examples over the years and in fact we put out a blanket reminder recently against any sort of credit exploitations and yet still saw Kaiser attempting the command. Secondly. for everyone involved. I understand that there are disagreements in opinion but lets try to keep discussions civil. I understand that alot of us are having laughs but please remember the difference between dicussion and memeing. If people would have listened to me back in the day when I said that having an email address passed around when people hold a position was a bad idea, then nobody would be in this position. People's inherent need to want to be remembered for doing something that nobody else has done, has made people come up with stupid ideas that people think are great without actually looking at the potential downsides or capability of people that want to destroy things to do so. If this had been better managed or actual proper consideration taken, then this empty "threat" wouldn't have even meant anything. WOW! oh and community bans are generally director+ another fun side note, why would the dev team gain any money from this? its not like we are W-2 employees or get a commission like a real-estate agent additionally, the dev/hs team make the quests so people can have fun things to do while no events are running, to promote player engagement, and to give rewards for playing the game. so abusing the system to not even play the quests isn't "quickly doing quests" but rather being lame and wasting the time spent to design the quest, also undermining all the players that spent their time doing it for real hope this helps, please dont blame the devs, or staff in this case, Kaiser simply abused the system. as Woeny said, we have clear logs of him attempting to use a command that was design for in-development testing that he knew from his HA days on the quest team. you cant really blame anyone but him for this one

I think i remember it was in the 41st one when the whole overhaul stuff came down and he had a freak out on everyone that disagreed with said suggestion for removing a bunch of stuff and possibly gutting subunit stuff.
