imo, net positive change. As I said on the last post, this will make sure criticism is known to BCMDs far earlier than then re-app process, mitigating the keyboard warriors on here. Moves the focus to the quality of the BCMD, while still allowing for competition. Good stuff all around.

First, I hope to continue bringing a good presence on the server from a role play and leadership point of view. I have seen what good Yoda’s and not so popular Yoda’s look like and I feel that I can continue the good things that those Yoda’s have shown and try to eliminate and avoid the failures that hurt the previous Yoda’s terms I've experienced. I would also like this position because I believe I am a strong leader on the server and being able to be translucent and letting people know what's going on is one characteristic I have, and one that I feel is useful in Jedi. I constantly look for constructive criticism from people to help the Jedi Order grow and improve and I take these comments seriously. I am willing to learn and grow with the Jedi Order. Give a brief overview of your achievements and experience on the server: - 41st PVT-MAJ 21st SSG-LTC Delta Squad Scorch Cin Drallig/TGL x2 Mace Windu x2 CG 1SG-CMD Stone Jedi Lead Luminara Unduli CMD Plo Koon Do you have a microphone?: - Yes, I do Where do you want the Jedi Order to be at the end of your term?: - If I were to get the position of Yoda I would like the Jedi Order the main reason people would want to buy VIP and join the server. I think I can do this by making Jedi enjoyable. A few ways I could do that is work with people in the Game Master program with working on Jedi based events and deployments that would be fun and enjoyable for everyone in the Order. I also would like to encourage the Knight taking on a Padawan system as I think mentoring new Jedi is a good way and the most common way you should see Jedi move up the ranks. Activity: - I wish by the end of my term for the Jedi Order to have a solid set of Masters and to have people I can rely on in my absence or to take over at the end of my term. Obviously the server numbers aren’t the greatest and I can’t make the Jedi more active than the server. I just want Jedi to be something people get on to have a good roleplay experience with or to have a unique server experience with. Whether that's the combat, funny force glitches or them just enjoying the models/gameplay. Jedi Council: The Council has been something that has been changed or tweaked every Yoda term in one way or another. In tradition I would like to do the same. I currently like the way of obtaining the rank of Master which is you are put up per council vote and after a 3 week period you have the chance of being put up for the rank of Jedi Council Member if said person is interested and has done the work required to become a Council Member, such as shadowing and learning the ropes and strings of how the whole master thing works. After being a council member there is a step from Council member to High council member which I don’t think means a whole lot as of now as High Council member is really just a title and doesn’t really have much of a purpose as most of the abilities that come with High Council you have to get permission from an Overseer. What I would like for it to be instead, would be a learning position for people interested in the Overseer positions instead of it being available for all Council Members. With that being said Council to Overseer is a huge step and a lot for most people so I would like to use High Council Member as a training period like how we currently view the rank of Master, high council will be showing the Jedi High Command they’re ready to move up and can handle the work.. Transparency Something that I have noticed in my return to Jedi is that there hasn’t been much transparency between the Master+ team and the rest of the Order. A while back we had bi-weekly Jedi wide meetings that would address what the council had been up to and new changes to the order that were discussed at the meetings as well as a Q&A that would allow people to ask the Master team questions. I would like to bring that back as it was very helpful for getting feedback from the entire Order and it gave people in the order a voice and a place where they can feel that their opinion matters. One other way I would like to make the order more transparent would be to post the council meeting notes on the forums as well as include what we talked about during the meetings during the bi-weekly meeting that was not fully explained. Mission Board The mission board is another thing that has not been used in quite some time and in my eyes that’s very unfortunate as it gave people in the order something to do during downtime as well as earn merits. The board for sure needs a rework. I would like to set a new standard for missions. I want them to be more player based which would increase more player interaction which would lead to more roleplay on the server which would tie back into my first point which was activity. How do you plan to improve relations within the Jedi Order between branches?: - I think currently the relations between the branches are slowly but surely becoming better with the work Xaze has been doing such as putting in new leads into positions and filling up the ranks, with doing so people are getting settled into their spots and will be able to branch out into other things such as branch relations. An idea I have in mind to improve the branches would be to host events/deployments for each individual branches as well as host sims or trainings to cross the branches, such as a Sith needing to be converted for Consulars and Temple Guards. While the Sith has civillians held hostage with bombs so that would be where Sentinels/Shadows would step in. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: - Yes, I understand. From the Office of High Command 10/3/2022 From the Office of the Supreme Chancellor - Jayarr ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ General Updates Good day all! As many of you were made aware from the prior office of high command, we have been looking into the concept of re-evaluation for the battalion commander position on the server. After a conclusive few discussions, we have come to a conclusion that should be both simple and satisfying to partake in. These new changes have been made easy to understand, and will be effective in what they are attempting to acheive. Here's how it is: - Battalion commanders are susceptible to a re-eval after three months of holding the position. - One week before the re-eval, applications for the position will be opened up for anyone willing to apply against/in place of the BCMD - If the Battalion Commander chooses to re-eval, they will attend an interview with their respective SCMD and MCMD (Directors discretion if they wish to attend), where they will be asked a series of questions pertaining to their current term and possible points of interest they need to improve upon - High command will have the option to evaluate based on both their own, and public opinion on whether or not the BCMD will be allowed another term This will accomplish a much more simplistic system that will allow future BCMD terms to flow through in a much smoother, coherent manner. So long as no one else wishes to apply against them, the re-evaluation system should be relatively relaxed, as it is similar in most aspects to prior reapplication systems, minus having to reapply. If this, in the long run, does not work out as expected, we are fully willing and ready to follow through on reorganizing how we've implemented the system. All this falls onto how the community acts/feels about this new system, and we are excited to see where it goes. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Question for the Community What are your thoughts on the implementation of the change? All I would personally like to say is that we as a community need to be leaving and impressionable impact on new players to the community. Get them in your battalions, show them a great time, take them as a new friend, not a new number, and you may be surprised how much more fun the community can be with new faces. Navy Updates Naval has nothing much to say. We are working on revamping our internal trainings to create better naval in the future. - Dono Jedi Updates The Order is slowly trying to fill positions as well Yoda is open. We have a couple of people moving up to council this week and are on the lookout for new masters as always. Jedi are now able to be Commanders in battalions which means they can join the command discord and not just be “equivalent”. Got other things in mind like the mission board and revising docs but besides that just hopefully slowly climbing back up. - Clutch Guild Updates No updates this week. Senate The Senate is in the middle of filling its empty positions, Such as Gume Saam and Jedi Diplomats. The Senate remains committed to improving its faction and is open to any suggestions from outside the Faction. Senators are also open to joining in on any entertainment or training that you are doing and happy to try new things. Lastly, if you are interested in something different on the server, The Senate Guard is always looking for people to get WLd for the job, this isnt a job that needs any commitment. - Gears ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Pretty much, but there's a little more meaning to it then that. I think @Marvelput it well on the previous office of high command "So I’d first off like to say that this system would not remove the community’s ability to voice their opinions on people in applicable positions. Commander Reporting has always been a thing and will continue to be a thing whether it’s public on the forums or private with HC. Honestly something I hate is how people have qualms with a BCMD but don’t voice their opinions (at least not anywhere where it can be dealt with) until they reapply or hopefully just don’t run again. Like I also stated above this system isn’t currently entirely fleshed out. Battalions will receive a lot of say on whether or not someone stays in their BCMD position when reevaluations come up and if someone who could potentially run against someone in a BCMD position around when reapps would normally open and when we would now do reevaluations they can request an audience with High Command to request that apps be opened forcing the current BCMD to have to put up a reapp and giving the runner up the opportunity to run against them. These are ideas of how we can flesh out the system to be more efficient and how we can still include the community and keep it fair."

Battalion: SOBDE RP Name: Executive Officer Naz Date: 9/16/2022 Reason: I've been a part of the server on and off for a very long time. (About 4 years) I never took any leadership commitments during my collective time spent because I knew how it felt to lead and didn't want any headaches. That was the way it always was for me until 7 months ago when I was allowed to finally lead Omega Squad myself after the squad was empty for some time. With the state of SOBDE at that time being a low point on morale and activity I struggled to spend my days optimistically. This was also the time when I was having to take up the mantle of responsibility as an Executive Officer. My only saving grace was having Brooklyn as a supportive and active commander to help me recruit 2 instrumental members Void and Ollie to this commando generation. The battalion, although looked very meek, was "saved" in 3 months and I have finally chosen to step down because I can no longer meet the standards of the battalion as a commander as a whole. At the end of the day, I'm very content with my choices and wish SOBDE and the server a promising future.
