My brother played this game a lot, he loved the community and he was a nerd, but he wont be back. Shi or Phoenix as he was maybe known committed suicide on the 18th of August. I know not many people may have known him or liked him, but he always glowed when he talked about the people he knew through synergy and the work that he did. i only hope he left something good behind. If anyone knew him, have a beer for him. He wasn’t the best of people at times but he always tried. Thank you all for making him happy in the ways you did, and thank you for being there for him when he needed it the most. From the bottom of mine and my family’s hearts, thank you all. may the force be with you I guess.

4/10 I'm sorry but the negotiating was just way too long. I understand if you want to include negotiation but leaving 20-25 players on standby for 30 mins isn't a great idea. If you want to include negotiations have some things for other 80% of players on the planet to do or have them move back to base. Another option is to only deploy certain battalions. It seemed like a great idea and easily could be an 8 or 9 out of 10 with a few changes.

+1 I've been in his events as both a helper and a participant and most of them have been good. Keep working on improving your communication skills with your EJ's and create bigger ideas and you'll be an amazing GM

Majority of the time when there is a lengthy application it's all because they decide to shift + enter every different position they have ever held on the server in the experience section then write detailed paragraphs about their time in each position. Waste of space imo. I always felt the interview was way more important than the application. How they actually present themselves and such. So what they couldn't spell a few words and said a few things grammatically incorrect. Though I can think of one person who copy and pasted the same poor application for several positions that opened up...

Because synergy is actually English class and we learn how to write books for our applications

I'll be honest i usually take into account who the person is and interactions with them more then anything when voting. If i don't have a lot of experience i look to see people that have more interactions with them and what they think of the person. Then i look at the app as the final piece. If i don't know a lot about you and I can't seem to see information from other people then the app becomes the only and most important or if I'm on the fence about my choice. A well worded app that goes into detail shows dedication and thoughtfulness which are important for most (if not all) applicable positions. However there is a point where a long app can just be fluff and it means nothing to me.
