Why should you become a Battalion Commander?:
Why should I become Commander Doom? Well, as probably everybody knows, DU is in an awful position. We have dropped from 58 members to 26 members in a matter of a few weeks. This could be very difficult to come back from, however, a lot of you probably know that I am a very hardworking person that gets stuff done. This can be proved by some awards I have received. I am a 2x trooper of the week within Doom's Unit, a 2x GM of the week, and a 1x Staff of the week. These can prove that I try my best to make change and I have been recognized for that. Despite my work ethic, there are lots of things that need major changing within Dooms Unit. I would like to start with the current activity, which is one of the most important things within a battalion. As I said earlier, the numbers within Doom's Unit have completely plummeted. Obviously there has to be some change to attempt to increase these numbers, to do so, I will be heavily encouraging recruitments from every trooper within the battalion, including myself. I will be hard at work to recruit anyone that is willing to become an active and friendly member of the Doom's Unit family. I will most likely change up some of the promotion requirements to involve more recruiting and less of the other things. Moving on from there, I will need to create a steady core for each rank division. The most important thing to start with will be to uphold a steady Command Core. This will allow for leadership within the battalion and will motivate more people to want to rise to those ranks one day. Second to that, I must create a solid NCO/SNCO core, as they are normally the heart of the battalion and a majority of the activity. To do this, I will promote people as I see they are fit and will work hard to replace those positions with new members that are just as dedicated as the old ones. I also wanted to mention a couple of methods that have been added recently to Doom's Unit. First of all, DU has implemented a lot of new logging systems, which create more unnecessary work for the NCO core to deal with. I don't believe in excessive logging; of course we need logging to keep things organized, but doing it excessively does not help anyone. I will be removing lots of these things that I deem unnecessary. Along with that, there has also been a new Senior Officer weekly requirements quota that all MAJ-CMD must meet every week. This is extremely unfair towards those people, as the quota is something insane like 8 trainings a week per person. Moving on from those technicalities, I would like to address the community. This will most likely be the hardest part of becoming a BCMD, enforcing discipline. I have always been a very light-hearted person that doesn't like to punish anyone. However, in certain situations this is necessary. I will make sure that my troopers will be respectful towards each other and everyone else within Synergy, if I hear any type of disrespect or broken COC, I will take action. I realize this is a lot, and I could write more, but for the sake of everyone reading this, I will leave it at that.
Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?:
[Dooms Unit]
Doom's unit is a specialized battalion that utilizes shields and Z6s in mostly close range combat. These troopers have one canon appearance, which is the during the Battle of Ringo Vinda, where Jedi General Tiplee, Tiplar, Commander Doom and his unit fought alongside Anakin Skywalker and the 501st. Within this battle, Jedi General Tiplar lost her life due to the clone trooper Tup of the 501st legion.
There are 3 named doom's unit member appearances in canon:
Commander Doom
Heavy Weapons Trooper 1
Heavy Weapons Trooper 2
Yes those are their actual Canon names.
[Havoc Squad]
Havoc Squad is an elite Doom's Unit detachment that specializes in every aspect of combat. The members and their specialties are as follow:
Brimstone [CMD] - Leader of Havoc Squad, highly respected by all fellow Havoc Squad troopers
Gambit [MAJ] - Specialized as an Advanced Recon Commando
Crush [CPT] - Specialized as a Heavy Weapons Specialist
Lancer [2ndLT] - Specialized as a Jet Trooper

Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?:
I mentioned a lot of things earlier, if these things go as I intend, I'm hoping to end my term on a solid note giving opportunity to whoever may be the next Commander Doom. I would like to raise Doom's Unit's numbers back up to what they used to be, specifically aiming at above 40-45. The only way to keep members, is to create an extremely respectable and friendly battalion that are willing to welcome new members with open arms. For this to happen, I must monitor DU trooper actions and encourage my Discipline Commander to ensure that Doom's Unit stays as the most lighthearted battalion within Synergy, but still get their work done efficiently when necessary. Adding onto this, I would also like to leave DU as a more respected battalion within this community. DU can be frowned upon at times, as sometimes we are seen as minges/unprofessional. I promise to all that I will do everything in my power to get this turned around and finally have Doom's Unit as one of the respected battalions within the Synergy Community.
Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?:
I do understand.
Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your commander rank?:
Yes, I understand.
