You guys said you wanted detailed reasons for +1's so I'll detail mine from earlier I guess and comment on some things I have read. I +1'd him because I have just recently gotten to know Washington and from what I have seen he has the server's best interest in mind and just wants to do good with his role. The "50 hours is too low thing" isn't true by most standards, we have had high command and high staff with less and they were doing fine jobs, the Directors have said that 50 hours is good enough in the past. REG CMD and especially Senior CMD doesn't need to be in-game all the time to do their job, mostly since Senior is making sure the REG CMD is doing their job and the battalions are happy (which I think he has done). Actually it is higher than most Senior Commanders that have been on Synergy in the past. Let me also say I have seen people get positions such as Senior and even higher with around the same hours and actually less and they were doing absolutely nothing for their REG. Their REG just wasn't dead so it looked like they were doing something. I +1'd him because I think he deserves a chance at Marshal CMD. Sure I could be wrong but I think he should be given a fair chance and see how he does. And also in case anyone says I am, no I am not a part of any "group" that is here to defend him as others have said. I just give my opinion as I see fit. EDIT: This font color is horrid. I think it may be more professional for me to keep this outta my normal font. I also only quoted the thing I want to adress, to prevent this from becoming any kind of argument, just a view from both sides. Alrighty, so, starting off, thank you for the following; respecting someone else's opinion and not just hitting -1 and moving on, actually writing out a reason for your +1, and finally for keeping the fact that we are a community and do / should care for each other regardless of opinion difference. Normally I wouldn't reply, but for these three reasons alone I felt you deserved a well written response. We will start off with what I personally see them doing; I feel as though Senior Commanders should be creating roleplay for their battalions, through custom events, passiveRP or simply making it up. It's an important part of embrassing a serious roleplay server as well as building relations of our troopers through in-game memories and bonding moments. Next is training, a Senior Commander should oversee that some sort of training is happening daily, when he is available he should be doing CITs for his units or teaching them new tactics. Working on teamwork building rather than doing the same old training every time. Lastly is leading by example, showing activity, showing matureness, working with his men rather than above them. Standing next to them in battle, working as a unit but knowing when to step in as a leader. I think Seniors should hold one of the biggest roles on the server, and Marshall is only one step above that one, but you need to be able to take that step. Following up is activity, activity is all down to the eye of the beholder. But I personally view 50 hours poor for someone looking to take Marshal, not to remention the LOAs taken as well. How can someone lead and manage if they are not on, the more time spent on, is the time making a change for people. I am going to go ahead and compare Washington's hours as of right now to Xaze's (Since I see him on all the time.) As you can see Xaze is one of many examples of players who have over double Washingtons hours. And I am also going to use him since I don't think I have seen him even once break roleplay or character in-game. Relooping, I haven't been on the server in the last 5 days and I still have almost as many hours as Washington with 36.4 in the last two weeks. As you rank up, you don't retire, you take more responsibility, you need to be able to hold up to that responsibility. I understand people have actual lives and issues preventing this sometimes, but then again, isn't that why you all demoted Gene? Yeah, I thought so. All in all, I want to as a Owner do my part to keep this community running smooth. This includes putting my personal opinions aside of people and really reviwing what's best for the server. Currently, I don't see that as Washington. I like when people form their own opinions and can actually back them up. If anyone can prove me wrong I will happily change my stance on this. It's time we look at whats best for the community, not what's best for our friends.

I have my hands in many pies thanks to my outreach: Shadow Company: When I first joined this server, I was lured into the secret black and red battalion known as shadow company. This was a time that Ryx had just become BCMD and I was a lowly PVT. However with this I logged on daily and did my bit for the battalion rising to the rank of SSG quite quickly making a name for myself along the way (A bit over excited at times). Rancor: I joined Rancor very briefly but it changed my whole perspective on roleplaying in general. We were the elite battalion that had to set an example in the battlefield and everyone wanted to be ARC. I was very lucky to be given my oppertunity by Tofu in he trained me for ARC right then and I recieved it. This was when I started to know that I had to start being more serious within synergy if I wanted to progress anywhere. 501st: I joined 501st for around 3 days. I wanted to get to know battalions, feel what it was like and how other battalions ticked. I was only in for 3 days but you could get the feel that the 501st loved to be in the action, they yearned for more then just a little fight, they wanted the formations perfect to counter any opposition and everything was a competetion. Special Operations : I returned to special operations as a new SGM and knew this was where I wanted to stay and I knew I had to make an impression fast. I took it upon myself to lead my troopers into battle, and listen to my troopers when they thought they had a better idea. I took it upon myself to start making training documents, training times and revamping the sharpshooter tryout documents. During my time in SO I skipped WO and reached the rank of 2ndLT for my actions and continued to implelemet 'fun' training while people were still learning, they wanted to be in my trainings and kept asking for it. Null: I went to Null tryouts a few times to gain experience to lead my men and never actually though I could pass A'den Skirata tryouts but it happened. My time again was brief and I had IRL problems in which I wasnt in the right mindset for Null. Feeling I was letting the side down. Ordo at the time now Kal, tried to convince me to stay but I felt that the right move was to leave to progess and for Null. I left on my own accord because I didnt want to fail. Special Operations: And here we are the final step in my experience. I joined back in to SO as a captain, on the asking of Ryx. I took everything back in my stride as I dealt with my IRL problems and SO. I brought an influx of new recruits in as I strived for recruitment and I am the top recruiter for SO and have been since december time. I lead my men to many victories in events and obtained many shoutouts on the behalf of SO. I created documents on behalf and revamped tryouts on behalf of SO. Ive made trainings more fun that people wanted to attend. And with in that time I reached Ryx's right hand man as a Commander of the Special Operations. In which leads me to the biggest experience for the role I am applying for. Ryx has been on a few LOAs at the same time that other commaders with in the battalion have been on LOAs in which means that I have had to pick up a lot of work and move forward. I feel that my time stepping in for Ryx (no fault of his own) has greatly improved not only me as a person but understanding the way that a battalion ticks. The way it breaths and the way people lean on each other for support. But also knowing that there are two sides to every story, not every discipline is good discipline. Every officer wants a say in everything that goes down, and having an officer team that trusts you certainly helps runs a battalion and keeps it on its feet. Senate Commando as Captain Taggart: 'By the end of my term I want the battalion to be known as the Elite. Being that no one is in it, by the end of my term, I want everyone to be trying to get in it.' In my short term as Captain Taggart I can quite confidently say I have achieved this to the point that the higher ups in SC are being harassed on a daily basis for tryouts and we have to end up adverting 'If you ask for tryouts you'll be blacklisted' Our numbers are full to the point of exploding and we are turning people away. Ive made sure that whenever a Senator is on board that they are protected by at least 2 SC's and that I pull people in if there arent enough. People are hesitant to leave and are constantly apologising and asking not to be kicked if they have an ROA. I think that this shows pure dedication to the battalion I have brought to its feet and I have kept there. New Admin: Very recently, I have applied and succeded in getting the rank for New Admin. This allows me to help the server with RP, Whitelisting and making sure that every battalion is having fun. During my spell so far, I havent missed a single training, and I have tried to answer as many tickets as I possiblly can. Why should you become a Battalion Commander?: Having acted as the BCMD when Ryx was on many LOA's I already know how the battalion ticks and who actually wants to be on for some game time. I have already showed my capability of rising a new battalion on to its feet and keeping it there as well as running SO as acting BCMD before I obtained Captain Taggart. The numbers and down, the activity of people are next to none. What the battalion needs is a free start. It needs someone who has experience in breathing a battalion to life. I should become the battalion commander as I have the experience being a previous SO Commander, as well as BCMD of a new battalion that proves I have the nick for running a battallion Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?: Yes - was the special forces division of the Grand Army of the Republic, made up of clone commanders, covert ops clone commandos, clone assassins, Advanced Recon Commandos, and Clone shadow troopers. Availability: I work 4 days a week and no weekends. So thats three days, As soon as I finish work at Half 5 pm I will be then on the server Until the early morning to be with my battalion. And to have such a fun time makes me want to give back. The best way to do this i figured is of course getting admin. With it i want to help with events, giving people white lists that they need, and helping battalions train by making dupes for them. I also want to make sure that people that break the rules are dealt with as they should be, and be banned if they break enough rules or one of the rules that result in an instant ban. Through this i can help make the server better and help ensure more new players wish to stay. Some more information on how i feel about the importance of new players. Since new players are the life blood of this server its important to get them to want to stay. I plan on trying to help get new players to stay but helping remove elements that would negatively effect their impact on the server (Trolls/rule breakers). As well as help keep them interested by using Admin power to help with events or battalion training in the sim rooms. This way they will feel at ease in their environments as well as entertained and help ensure that they can't wait to come back and play again. Furthermore I feel like you can't go wrong with having another admin. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy playing on this server a lot, and have worked hard to achieve my current position. I'm a good leader and have worked hard on the MED regiment for 501st to bring us back into our glory. I am open to people's opinions and like to listen to them out before i make decisions, which i feel is an important thing to do in any type of leading role. I do think that the criticism sourrounding Washington is slightly unfair. People are reading too much into the 'activity in hours' Anyone can spend 150 hours on the server but how many of them are AFK?? The only time I see washington on is when he is active and running around helping people. Id rather see someone who has 30 hours and works his ass of then someone who has 200 hours and most of that is spent sat in a room collecting credits. Its quite clear that most people are -1ing due to the fact of activity. We all have real lifes, we all have jobs and families that we need to go to and obivous @Washington is not exception. Im not part of this Washington clan @Joah and @Zim But I can tell you both now that when he is on, the effort that I have seen from this person is exeptional. He is either on the forums reading peoples applications, +/- 1ing. Or he is in and out of channels talking to everyone. If there is anyone that deserves this role as Marshal CMD then its Washington. He does pick up activity at weekends and that I can vouch for. This man DESERVES this without a doubt and its not a case of he is the only person running for it. There is a reason, he has got into the position to be able to apply because he is capable and obviously people have seen that but I can tell you know if this man get the position he will not take it lightly, he will not just sit on his ass and get less and less. Ive been on this server since Novemeber I have constantly seen Washington around while I have been in SO, SC as MicrosoftWord and MooseWundo. Not once did I see a Regimental Commander or even know who it was. This man is known and will blitz this job

+1, when I joined the server back in Novemever I never wanted to actually join naval, I rarely saw anyone on it. since Freck has become admiral there is always someone on it, Freck is constantly active and has no fucking life outside of that I mean darts?! I honestly hardly see you in the game doing anything with your current senior commander so why do you need to go higher up? You need to have a lot of spare time to hold one of these positions so they are getting utilized to the fullest and I can't see you doing that with your current work ethic. -1

Im not the nicest person around nor do I really care what people see me as because i already know im an asshole. This being said, Washington. Im going to agree with @Zim and @Joah if ANYONE says anything against what you and the group of friends on the forums they get "Witch hunted" for weeks. I can pull the 5 names i can see on Every. Single. Post. Coming against you and the others in your group. This is going to sound hypocritical as i have done stupid and fucked up shit on the forums but i simply dont see you as mature enough for the position. When i first joined the server and met you i liked you found you fucking hilarious and fun to play with, Then you changed coming from me this is going to sound hypocritical again but you started to cause drama and other issues with in the forums. When you got demoted one rank from staff you left instantly saying that you hosted sims constantly and loved doing it, But if you loved it so much you should have worked for the position back rather then give up. On top of that, you left Ashoka randomly because you felt as if the 501st didn't like you which wasn't true, making you look even more immature because rather then talking to them or asking around the 501st or ask for a blunt answer from them you threw in the towel and stopped playing her basically running away from your issues and over thinking small things. -1, I don't have much place to say this, however. Your LOA activity on your Senior Commander was a bit long. Considering the fact that the bare minimum is being done as Senior Commander. I can tell you this as someone who looks over these things at the end of the day. I do not get on the server because I simply can't. I will be spammed with random bullshit rather than being able to enjoy my own server. With that being said Washington, I believe you have a bandwagon personality. I believe you are someone who will quickly come to the winning side and quickly cloak yourself inside of the drama. I personally see a leader as someone who has a difference of opinion at all times. It can be right or wrong but a leader chooses to follow his own path, not the groups. A leader is supposed to push people in a direction to better themselves and better the group. Creating drama on the forums is not a good way to make yourself look like a good Marshal Commander. A lot of people will argue that in forums is different from in-game, however, your reputation carries over. When you look at Foxy or Watermelonwolf, he undeniably said some stupid things on the forums and it carried over to the game on how people viewed him as a person. So for those of you who are going to say forums don't account for the game. Don't give me that random bullshit. Also @Llama/Yoda you using the term "My son" shows that this is a clear biased favoritism of friendship, nothing to do with professionality. I respect your opinion, but as Yoda you should be able to know the difference between a fence sitter and someone who is currently doing something. People are right, a lot of these are blind +1s, including my own. I have thought about this and changed my mind. -1 Honestly, I don't think anyone deserves Marshal at this point. I don't have anything against Washington, but the things that have been presented are undeniable. Most of the things can be improved on and fixed, though, in which I will change my post on this. I know I'll probably lose rep just for posting this, but it's my opinion and I want to express it.
