+1 This is exactly what the server has been missing

This might be a dumb question but why don't you just rebrand HS to Horn Company while using the new HS models? They could be edited to fit the heavy/medic/arc/officer/lead class you're wanting without wasting the development time on new models. Shields could be added to the jobs and this way only a couple of the HS models would go unused. Just a thought I had, not sure how well this would actually work.

Yeah I'm curious about this too, obviously we want to make sure members of the community can feel safe and not threatened by people claiming to have their IP or anything along those lines, but I don't fully understand why any and all jokes involving IPs have suddenly become so harshly punished. I think this is a weird hill to die on and could very well be evaluated in a case by case basis rather than it being a 2 strike system into a community ban.

I thought these things would be laid out in the suggestion rather than it just being a screenshot of my message lmao, I didn’t get a chance to see the suggestion until this morning but I’m glad I could clarify.

For some additional context and reasoning for why this was posted, Maverick said in the community discord that he was not the one that changed the permissions but that he agreed with the change and that it’s not that hard to just change channels if you need to. It seemed that the change was not a mistake from the things he was saying. A few people including myself then gave our thoughts on why this may not be a good or necessary change which is when I was DMd this by Maverick: “I would advise you to put it up as a server suggestion for ts. Its a decent arguement you make but its only affecting from what i can tell about 3-4 people at least to whose told me. I need more feedback.” I sent the DM to Mavelle and Bacta so that GM leadership could decide if they wanted to suggest this since I am not currently part of the GM team. While I am glad that this was an accidental change, it did not seem that way and Maverick even said to put up this suggestion so he could receive feedback on it.

I wasn't here at the time either but I believe it was things like 41st and CG having a speed boost, DU having their shields, 501st and 212th having 100 extra HP, etc. Assuming buffs of this nature are what Conrad is suggesting then +1. I think it sounds very interesting and the extreme push for battalion standardization over the past year or so has not been one that I've been a huge fan of. Eliminating uniqueness from battalions makes things less enjoyable for many even if it creates a more "fair" experience.
