Here's a question for all of you regarding your Synergy experience: What was the first memory you can remember that really got you hooked onto being on this server? It can be an event, a person, a training/deployment, or even just a funny moment that made you die of laughter. I'll start: Back when I was in DU, a high-ranking Naval Officer made anyone who wanted to participate in a "PT" where you had to push boxes from the courtyard into the MHB. I just remember doing it, and it was taking forever to push it. We didn't have gravity guns or anything, but because I was the one doing it, it was just funny having almost everyone who was in the courtyard just walk behind me slowly, inching closer every time I got closer to the MHB. Once I finished, there was an optional promotion DB where I was promoted to CSM, which was the highest position I had ever held on any SWRP server.

I was very active when I first joined in 2020, and was interested in becoming staff then. Unfortunately, I fell out of the community for two years, and now coming back, my desire to help the community is stronger than ever. I feel very welcome on this server more than I have on other servers such as Superior and Icefuse, and if administrator, I want to bring that sense of feeling welcome to as many as I can. Whether that is by dealing with disputes or answering questions, as long as I'm making new people feel welcome, I'll feel as if I'm doing my job as an administrator right. I also wish to help create very unique and creative events as well, allowing for all battalions to have their time in the spotlight, whether that be interrogations, negotiations, etc. Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): I am an 18 year old male who is currently in college studying for my law degree. I usually tend to balance out my working habits and free time playing games such as Gmod very well. I am patient, very outgoing, caring, and dedicated for things I am passionate about. Do you have any previous staff experience? If yes, please elaborate on what you have accomplished: Yes. In around 2017, I was a trial mod for Superior Servers. Unfortunately, during my trial phase, I had family issues that didn't make me a full-fledged moderator. Going away from CWRP, I am a twitch moderator for a few friends, one of which has over 10k followers. I have also been a discord moderator for servers, one of which being a discord partnered server. As a discord and twitch mod, I have been able to effectively ban/timeout/kick those who have been disrespectful, as well as discuss with people what they have done wrong (if they were unsure of why). A little off-topic, but still leadership wise, in real life, I was a part of my chapter board in a youth group I was in. I was secretary, vice president, and eventually president of my chapter. This occurred over the span of four years. In that time, I learned what it means to be a strong leader, as well as create and organize events, committees, boards, and many other skills I think I could bring as an administrator. 9/10. Was my first time doing negotiations, and it helped me get a better understanding of how it works in a real scenario. The fighting part with the droids were fun, and I all around enjoyed it!

I mean 2015 wasn't too bad. It was that middle ground between a good life and the small snowball that created the hellscape we live in today.

I remember the first Pokemon game I ever got was Pokemon HeartGold when I was 8 years old. I would play that game religiously. As I grew up, I never stopped. Black, Black 2, X, Omega Ruby, Moon, Shield, and now Shining Pearl and Arceus. I can remember core memories of each, including when I won a Pokémon Black and White tournament and won a set of the Unova Gym Badges that were also pins. I still keep them in my room to this day. No matter how old I become, I'll always keep Pokemon, and the memories it made, close to me.

Ah, alright that makes a little more sense. If the name of the job was simply called "Weapons Specialist," and clones needed to get their normal training for KU in addition to ARF training, then yes. I feel like that would make sense. From a lore standpoint, giving the Weapons Specialist a Clone Minigun instead of a Z-6 also makes more sense to me. I think honestly with this clarification, I'll give it a +1. It seems more logical, so long as the proper trainings are given, and possibly a little more time deciding who is fit to be a Weapons Specialist. It's better than to just give people the job with the training just so they can have both ARC and ARF loadouts for shits and giggles.

+1 Kabal is a great guy. I feel like in my one week of returning, he, along with a few others, have really made me feel welcomed back. He's also been great about reinforming me in things both about the server, the lore, etc. He's respectable, rational, and overall has helped me get the safe feeling I had two years ago.

I kind of agree with Marvel here. I haven't necessarily played a regiment that used Z6s since DU in 2020, but back then I barely used it in comparison to the basic DC-15A and DC-15S. The clone minigun I can agree with. As for the DC-15X sniper, that may be a little too much. If it's a Heavy Specialist job, why would they need sniper rifles? Miniguns would sort of fill that "heavy" emphasis. If they gave Heavy Specialist another strong weapon to go with it, without it becoming too overpowered then perhaps it could work. Maybe a shield like that of the Doom's Unit? I do agree with you on the fact that KU could add an ARF regiment to fix it, as nothing is wrong with a little more diversity in terms of sub-battalion groups, especially KU. I could be completely wrong on all fronts here, not being as experienced or knowledgable about every battalion and regiment. But I'm just throwing whatever cents I can to the conversation to maybe bring points up. For now, I'll give it a neutral due to my lack of major knowledge within sub-battalions like the KU. I hope whatever I spouted out made sense.

I don't think I've really done a proper introduction, and since I've technically been a part of the community for two years on logs, it's only fair that I do one. So hello! My name's Neptoon, but my name in Synergy is Beetle. I originally joined the server in January of 2020. I was in Doom's Unit once I joined, and Trixx was Commander Doom when I played regularly. I climbed up the ranks and became a CSM and MEDO, but once COVID hit, I sort of fell out, which sucked. I joined back around a week ago, and I'm really excited to be back. A lot of people have constantly asked me if I'm Beetle from 91st, to which I always say "I'm not." Though I hope, whoever they are, that I can be just as good as whoever 91st Beetle was.
