  1. UPDATE STATEMENT: Jedi have had their lightsabers removed due to leadership. RESPONSE: Remove Jedi
  2. Honestly Ratio said it the best. He said what I have tried to communicate for along time but due to my... lack of eloquence i've always struggled to express it. The Major issue with Jedi has always been how it fits into the server and its lack of identity within the server. This often stems from how clones react and treat Jedi in RP as lower class and neigh worthless unless you are "My battalions lore jedi" then they are just treated like property of that battalion. I think a very simple summary of all of this is If I were to ask a BCMD a question about their battalion they would be able to give me the answer then and there no matter the issue. With Yoda I don't think that could be done no matter the person in the position due to the amount of clutter within the Jedi order issues that stem from tonnes of little issues mainly lack of control then that filters into communication and everything else I hope this post goes into my issues and what we can do to maybe change things. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Council doesn't really help this by once someone becomes a master then a lore master instead of building a community and working within the Jedi they are shipped off like soldiers on the draft to work for a battalion. Even though they became a Master to help the Jedi. This the creates tension and strain between the clones and Jedi aswell because the Battalion work is meant to be a optional programme built for keeping Jedi entertained by doing Battalion stuff. The main issue is then people see this as a avenue to progress within the Jedi but it simply isn't really because outside of reports there is no consistent way of tracking someones work. And we all know how we love to fill reports out. But the truth is Battalion work does not assist the order it only benefits the battalion or the Individual and doesn't really bring anything to the order outside of PR (which usually doesn't mean much due to how low the opinion of Jedi is anyway). The only rewards for Battalion work really should be the Jedi commander title. I understand how that might annoy clone players on why isn't my best Jedi friend not being rewarded for helping the clone faction by the Jedi Faction? It is simply that they are two separate entities and because the current channels that reward things like Jedi commander are hardly utilised (that being the Commander reports) Means that the few notable rewards arn't given out due to the lack of communication from the clone side generally speaking. I understand that may frustrate people but due to the size of the Jedi order and the lack of man power and availability the Jedi can not check in constantly and do the leg work for rewards that do not directly affect their faction due to the amount of running around that would entail. The Jedi trust people to bring the information about issues positive or negative. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Personally I am of the opinion the Jedi order needs to be drastically scaled down and be a more controlled and manageable faction. I have expressed this a few times the Ranks within the Knights are unnecessary and should all but be removed. Ranks only should exist if they add something and that something should be some kind of responsibility and if that isn't present it should be removed. I feel that is easily translated to clones too. I feel that the Jedi order is broken at the core and I do not feel that this is a fault of this leadership but it is a issue that has existed for years but because its easy its ignored. One is that is The availability for players who have been gone for years to be aloud be gone for those prolonged periods of time and to have the ability to just come back after to years and just have their position back (I am not talking any kind of honorary/legacy but any random person who passed their respective trial) just because they passed it. Now imagine if a battalion did that. If a battalion didn't control who was marked as active and removed those people. The logistical nightmares that would cause in just the communication alone on new rules and changes within the order. I believe thats why Knights and padawans arn't really given any responsibility or are seen as valuable because they are a nigh unlimited amount of them who can just return one day and have technical power so in response the Jedi order have never really given Knights or padawans power or responsibility. The reason I know something like that hasn't been done before is because it would require a hard Jedi wipe so that the Jedi could be built back up and be able to manage its members. I Know that a few people have attempted to do it by cleaning the rosters but that doesn't help because all it takes is for someone to vouch for someone not on the roster to get their position back because so few people simply are willing to say no. The truth alongside that is if the Jedi did do a wipe the slate clean to help fix the order the likely blow back would be enormous because everyone wants to be entitled to their Jedi because they paid for it (which is fair enough) but it does cause the issue of not knowing the people within the Jedi order all that well because of the amount of people who make a Jedi because they want to play on it now and again and not main the thing because they want to main their naval or clone or have to hold a activity standard there or they face removal and don't want to sink time into the Jedi. because if you wanted to do all three and keep a activity standard you could be hard pressed to do so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ANOTHER MAJOR ISSUE IS How bloated and divided the order is because of the lack of communication stemming from the first issue. The communication and standard of what a Jedi is all over the place and this is due returning players constant changes lack of logging people adding in fluff and pointless "changes" that just clutter the Jedi order left right and center. To better explain what I mean by bloated is over the years the Jedi order has just added and added to itself kind of like the image I posted below. Things Guardian is struggling as a branch! "Quick lets add Jedi snipers, titles, four new trials, three new sub branches take control of weapon specialist " So and so fourth Usually the issue is lack of communication between the lead and the branch. The lack of interaction of those within the branch like getting together doing events together chilling having fun with one another. Instead of addressing accrual problems people blindly add things to the branch or want change how they work or take control of a new and shiny gimmick under the false impression that will fix the issue. A new toy does not help in the long run as any battalion who adds a sub unit to join in their battalion. Short term it helps but long term people loose interest in the new thing because that was never the issue. People get bored because they are not proactive and doing something. So what should you do? Play together, RP together, Make shit up and do it entertain yourself and your friends. This issue usually stems from leadership of a branch wanting to make some kind of impression on the position. Leave their mark that kind of thing. For examples Botanist under Targeev or the dozens of times Healer, Seer, Prophet have been a thing within Consular. Usually these things end up like bad fads where they are nice for a time and work well with the person who implemented the system and for those who come later down the line who do not have the same passion or real care for those systems they become cluttered and a mess which then needs to be cleaned up by the council later down the line but due to miscommunication or returning players these get messy as everyone wants their fifteen minutes. Often these systems get purged then two new leads down the line someone says I've got a awesome new Idea and it will be the thing that the council has just finished purging. The most recent example is titles within branches. Where they caused confusion and lacked a consistent way to achieve them so they were removed. Then a new lead came along and wanted to have them added as they thought it was a good idea and wanted to use them and it created a stir as the process of removing it was still in recent memory so the Council being jaded allowed it but without really routing the issue. This is not a fault of the Consular lead as they were unaware of the removal. My point is that there is alot of useless fluff the gets added and removed on a near constant basis and this is something that needs to stop the Jedi needs to focus on what it wants to be. It can not be everything so it needs to be simplified and instead of adding things we need the Jedi to be stripped bare and reworked. Then it needs to decide what it is essential and what is not what do the branches need to survive and what do they not need at a council level. Currently the Jedi order lacks direction, I would argue it always has. RP is the most important thing to me but not to others. Diverse RP matters more to me than restricting RP avenues not into anything like full blown Sith but Jedi were never perfect there has never been a "ideal" Jedi who responds to the code perfectly so people should be allowed to act out so long as it is in RP. But with that tangent aside the Issue with direction stems from the greater server but also the fact that there is no consistent view of what It means to be a Jedi on the server from both a OOC and IC perspective. To me the Jedi should be focused on RP and the responsibilities that come with that in RP such as being the Generals and Commanders of the army and that means handing out orders to troopers and coming up with battle plans and operations. But due to attitudes on the server should a Jedi do any kind of RP that commands or takes point that isn't fighting a Sith or just absorbing blaster blots they are disrespected or dog piled on in most encounters. This is due to everyone wanting to be the one in charge and having control over just respecting each other in RP. Alternatively some would say that trials and the technical aspects of ranks titles power and leadership is the most important things (which I vehemently oppose) is the thing that should be valued as it is the only thing that is a reliable way of tracking people actions currently. That largely stems from the lack of interaction within the order due previously mentioned issues. In conclusion the Jedi council needs to decide what is the most important thing to them. RP or the trials, maintenance and the OOC structure of the Order. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Statement: The council needs to be more structured and a cleaner chain of command within the Master corps. That and it suffers all the failings of democracy and bureaucracy so it lacks strong structure and leadership/ chain of command. -> video explaining the point a bit better than me, Q). A major concern is RP of Jedi and how they act. a). This is a issue across the bored on the server not solely on the feet of Jedi and those who try to RP or experiment are often shut down personally I think we should encourage it more so long as it is in a in character situation and it is not mingey. A large problem with defining how Jedi should stems from peoples interpretation of as they do vary quite widely from person. Just like real life its up for interpretation. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Tt95s4eXFXH7qVprHEFpNWU4m_R1scI8x6bSDTsjvXE/edit?usp=sharing Q). A constant complaint is having nothing to do in off time and that Masters should provide things to do. a). We are working on a system to create stuff to do. But we can not hand hold every individual if you want to do RP and be entertained then you need to start making a effort yourself as there is only so much the Order or game masters can do. The best way I recommend doing this is RPing within a friend group doing your own RP. Examples of people who do this are Dennis, Snadvich, Baron, Chrome so on and so fourth. If you can't RP your chosen role or can not do something with it then the question should be why are you that role. Q). A constant Query is how do I become Master or how are they selected? a). Every Master is currently a Case by basis and the truth is there is not any one standard some have got it through their attitude, trials, RP, Branch leadership or a combination of all mentioned elements. The Council do need a better standard for what It means to be a master how to achieve it but alot of the pit falls of selecting potential masters is that the council does not often know the candidates all well outside of trials. Whether that is the individuals work ethic or general personality or how they problem solve.
  3. @Forseen member we tried to get these added? but 15mb for one job?
  4. Plan would be with bounty hunters would be advisory one and predominantly helping set a general code of conduct for bounty hunters acting within a republic facility and helping organise more RP friendly ways of dealing with disputes and issues. I would set RP tasks in game both pro and anti republic through both palpatine and his alias through a guild contact. But I do want to try and push for less random base attacks or "I am bored lets go shoot some clones" a bounty is one thing to kill someone or start something unnecessarily I believe a solution to this would be to add more passive activates for bounty hunters to do that didn't solely rely on the republic I believe we have talked about it before but we could try and implement something where bounty hunters can also have access to the civilian and prisoner roles so they could have passive rp capabilities on that front and those roles could always intersect with the republic giving them something to do also. As I think we can both agree is that Bounty Hunters are law men in lore following republic law (especially guild ones) so without anyone to hunt down or do citizen rp with there isn't a confertable place for BH RP unless its anti republic or republic soldier without a rank and arguably better armour. But as a whole they will be trusted to run their faction as they choose I won't go out of my way to force a decision upon them I will mainly just be keeping within the loop so that if anything arises and they need my attention they will have it.
  5. Steam Name: Scarerow RP Name: Scarecrow | Crota Malkav | Azrael RP Rank: Master | Guild LT Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:155761626 Experience: Clone CG-104thXO Well I started my time on server as in SO but I didn’t really do much till I got into CG where I made a home for time it has really helped me appreciate the work they do and taught me how be strict but fair in how certain issues need to be dealt with when it comes to unruly players. My time there also really helped me learn how to be a strong leader in and out of events. For examples for out of events keeping training going, communicating with other battalions and keeping relations going strong. I also have had to take initiative as there was a point in CG where we had no eastern leadership which I practically took over there for a time while our leadership was very ill spread across time zones I had to learn to handle all the responsibilities of leadership whether that's dealing with people who had gone inactive and had to be dealt with or people who got themselves into trouble and i had to deal with or just listening to the enlisted and NCOs who may be not having the best time in the battalion or may just need help learning what does what and how the server works in all. After my Time in CG ended I moved to the 104th where I rose in the ranks helping around and getting more involved with the doc work and actual command side of the battalion weather that's helping with reforming promotion requirements. Helping those new recruits find there way in the battalion wether that's helping them decide on what branch to join and what they offer and doing my best to organise them and get them set on whatever path they have set with trainings or just requirements met such as ARC where I had a few perspective ARC troopers who were not necessarily the best candidates at the time and they had failed there selections then later leadership this was not due a poor attitude or anything just a lack of understanding so i them to one side with a squad of my troopers and I thought him how to ideally lead a team of troopers and how to show that you can lead can lead it just takes patience and understanding but not being afraid to take charge if people don’t listen. Because of this attitude over time this landed me with the Spot of Wolfpack Lead which I am currently running and I am shaping into being our elite unit where our best troops end up. Wolffe 1st term From my time as Wolffe I have learned from things that I didn’t know were a fault of my character things like relying on myself to do the bulk of the work and hoarding important roles because I didn’t think I could trust people to handle them but then I realised how childish I was being with that sentiment and opened up roles handed off responsibility and that helped me grow into a better leader I feel. I have had to make tough choices when dealing with people who have acted out of turn when I came to punishment removals demotions that kind of thing I helped set up a new Wolffe pack system where they would act as overseers and mini regimental managers over the battalion’s sub units to help the people who got the lead positions to help guide them. I also revamped our promotion system the battalion tryout and lots of training systems and documents to help train people into their new positions I revamped the WO system to where it acts as less of a bottleneck system to where it’s one of greater respect and more importantly one of higher responsibilities where now the Warrant Officer now takes the spot of the Mechanised lead (That means they handle the inner and outer battalion tank trainings) along with this they are reviewed on how well they perform in the role and get promoted accordingly based on well they performed in term. We also revamped our negotiations training to where the 104th as a whole should be well versed in negotiations after 1SG of course troopers will still be trained before that but the advanced classes happened around 1SG to coincide with this the rules for negotiation were added then to the server rules I also revamped alot of our documentation system regimented used our intel team is divided into mini teams where on a biweekly basis they are set on a particular task set on the roster for example one handles the Regimental one the main roster the other one promotion reqs this is to better manage the team and better tell who are fulfilling their roles as they should be and those who are slacking but it also helps keep on top of the more neglected parts of the roster had it been left as it was. Also during my term I helped along side Wolfro (Plo Koon) helped rebuild relations with the jedi were previously they hadn't really been any and with him we rebuilt the 104th Jedi core and I’d like to think we have some of the best where they help in events, trainings, patrols, meetings and generally spend time with the 104th and it’s troops. I have also revamped the promotion requirements to that they were more balanced and fair and that key skills for the server would help like attending role play training such as TECH EOD MED ENG things that would come in handy to help out in events. I have worked with other battalions, done joint training and helped keep relations good with other battalions. I worked to implement an officer review system where the NCOs and Enlisted can put anonymous thoughts on how officers are doing to review them so that they know what they can improve on and how we as the higher officers can help them improve. Wolffe 2nd Term When my second term began I focused the refinement of our NCO’s and building up a new and improved officer core by implementing a more efficient officer training system that explains roles responsibilities in more detail permissions and other general aspects in becoming an officer. From there I have revamped the regiments within the 104th so that they are more accessible and placed more efficient leadership into the roles required, refined training for the 104th such as our Negotiations training so it is more accessible to those within the battalion. We have reworked our pilot programme so it is clearer to understand and easier to get trained. I have kept the troopers actively engaged with events happening on server weather that's a literal event BVB Trainings Patrols things to keep the troopers enjoying themselves in the battalion and wanting to be active. From there I have separated and helped delegate tasks to the responsible troopers. Spec Reg My time as a regimental commander was a brief one in all honesty but what I did during that time was help watch over the battalions I gave advice to the BCMD’s to try and help them make decisions when then needed the advice come up with Ideas that would encourage the battalions to do more and function better. I have also helped with some disciplinary issues within the battalions I worked with, I spent time with some of the BCMD’s to help them refine their disciplinary systems and it made the battalions stricter but it worked out. I also resolved some internal drama with one of the battalions where there was a dispute between troopers and positions held. I worked with the BCMD to smooth everything over and got the battalion back into a functioning order. Jedi Order TempleGuard Knight Well Jedi it is probably best to start when I first got knight as that's when I started to properly play my Jedi I started out as a Temple Guard Knight Initiate where I learned and familiarised myself with the Jedi rules and regulations, I did my best to help promote RP and less mingey behaviour by arresting those who broke the rules and by trying to help people who did act out a lot improve how they acted during their time on the server by explaining the rules that prevent certain things and restrict others and how they are there to improve the general experience for everyone and not hamper them. Later I became a manager of the Temple Guard branch as many Knights often I during this time I held many trials, and helped train people that struggled to grasp the lightsaber system so that they would have a better experience around the server. I also helped redesign certain parts of the trials or I had to adapt them due to updates with the lightsaber system changes or map updates due to changes that would I would have to adapt to I also helped during this time with a lot of Youngling a Knight trials and was even points during that time where I would have to help lead them at points if the master during the trial was busy handling other things these cases were rare however the did happen so it is worth mentioning. Master During my time as a Master I have accomplished quite alot from helping amend the Youngling trials and Knight Trials by reworking certain sections so that they would offer a different challenge and hopefully be more immersive as a result of trial I also helped make key decisions within the order and helped reform other trials such as the temple guard branch I had also helped reform some documents create some new ones I have helped in disputes and disciplinary issues within the Jedi. Obi Wan Kenobi I revamped the system of how jedi entered the battalion by creating several new documents refining the rights for the jedi within the battalion I helped the 212th wherever I could in issues where my assistance was needed whether is was dealing with Jedi issues or helping the clones within my command that needed the assistance. Mace Windu During my time as Mace I completely reworked the disciplinary system within the Jedi by creating a document and enforcement system where if someone breaks a rule there is a set punishment I know that sounds basic but at the time there was nothing in place for that so I created one that was simple to run and is efficient. I also implemented a weekly report system for all managers of branches similar to the Jedi Military report where the managers could voice their thoughts on the branch how it is run and could mention any changes that they think a branch needs and the ability to comment about the leadership of the branch and that helps the entire council keep a constant track of all the branches and how many trials each is pushing out a week. I have cracked down on misbehaving Jedi who minge and act out a lot by handing out punishments who frequently offend or those who just act in a way that is unfit for a Jedi to act. I also worked closely with the Sith helping resolve out of character complaints and potential rule brakes and worked on building up the OOC relations. Yoda During my time as Yoda I revamped the youngling trials disciplinary system and revamped how knights acquire padawans and what they can do with one another in terms of rp scenarios and rewards that come alongside it I restructured the rosters and Jedi reporting. Mainly infrastructure and performing RP. Master Again/Anakin I helped create a merits system that would push for more RP in the order by promoting RP activities that would reward merits that would unlock, restricted Items, promotions, Unique activities such as Team Trials and competitions for Master and Apprentice to pit them sleeves against another Master and Apprentice team. A lot of this didn’t make it past the concept phase and what was implemented differently but that was after my departure. I developed an overhaul of the Knight trials last section which requested that it would primarily focus on elements that the order. My work with the 501st started as me joining as a Master and a 2ndLT where I helped reform TC tryouts under Enzyme with Rohan, Anderson where we [CENSORED] during this time I worked and supported both Forseen and Conrad during their Rex terms preparing the implementation of the 332nd to the 501st by prepping the tryouts organizing how jedi would work with them the perms and the general needs. Alongside this I reworked how the Jedi would join the 501st with Noble when he was Ahsoka. I helped maintain discipline within the 501st to help resolve disputes, entertain the troops Role play with the 501st Obi Wan and the rest of the server keeping people entertained as you should. Bounty Hunter When I returned to the server I decided to dedicate myself to Bounty Hunter for a while as I wanted to experience a new kind of RP and fully involve myself with the faction and its inner workings. I did this like most by doing my evals and creating a character a secretive Chiss called Crota (and because the name on its own was taken I added a last name) Malkav he was a older man who had seen a lot and had a dark and sorted past that I hoped to express with other players and develop him further throughout my time as a bounty hunter. When the position of Guild Lieutenant opened up I thought it would be a strong opportunity to help the faction that I had started to love spending time on so I applied and I passed its requirements and was accepted. What I wanted to do with the role was to help with the basic and OOC management such as logging articles on the many docs it has and the main things Conflict resolution and RP. Let's be honest there are a lot of complaints about bounty hunters and how they can behave and this kind of admin work is the kind that I love helping resolve those conflicts whether it is cases of potentiel RDM rule breaks ect I enjoy getting involved and doing what is needed. The other work includes the creation and grading of bounties. The RP I have created has been split between two characters that being “Crota Malkav” and “Silverhand” the idea being one is a loose ideological idealist that being Silverhand and he is someone who loves to cause subtle trouble or destroy what he sees as evil (mainly slavers that being the Senate the Techno union and the Trade federation) he ultimately answers to Crota as he is a young idealist who can do all the things that Crota can not. Why should you become Chancellor?: I wish to become the Chancellor because I want to do the RP of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine I will do this by using my knowledge of the character (Primarily form the movies, shows and Books mainly the Darth Plagueis novel). I plan to create activities with Game Masters in which I can perform both sides of Palpatine's character being the insidious Sith Lord and the Charming Chancellor playing both sides and setting them all up for failure. I would do this via the CIS faction and working alongside them orginisning their OP’s conversing in with Dooku and Grevious. While also poking and prodding the Jedi order misdirecting the republic into traps through faulty intel and playing both sides for the “Grand Plan”. I plan to work with Palpatine's inner circles within RP that being Mas Amedda, Wilhuff Tarkin (If the Navy decides to bring the role back) and of Course Anakin Skywalker and the rest of the Jedi. As people know by now I can be very strict when it comes to RP as in minging or these that are deemed inappropriate I would not hold a personal tolerance for so for instance if someone was to come up to me while on Palpatine and say something “Yo Palps what up” or something like that I would not tolerate it I would either deal with it through RP disciplinary actions or arrest on the case by case basis. This is primarily due my experiences as both Wolffe and Yoda who people tend to find it amusing meme/minge with the roles due to either there names or the fact that they are a unusual character and to me these are positions that in RP would demand respect therefore you wouldn't act like that towards them In character and I do strive to create more seriou RP even if it is just in my immediate area while i game. In regards to handling the OOC disputes and resolving issues within the community, that mainly being player disputes or “Drama” I am more than capable in helping resolve issues due to varied experience within the server and my understanding of our factions and battalions and what they generally care about in terms of their perms and I can use that to help square away any complaints while helping people understand their perms and authority of each. I also am a avid critic of suggestions whether they are ones put forth to the Jedi Council or to the Forums as I think whether I agree with something or not it always needs to be justified one way or another as that helps people avoid superfluous changes and fluff for a lack of a better way of saying it like people who want small changes that will only affect them or a small group for a temporary time I will scrutinise alot more than a thought through global change for all but even then that bigger change would need to be weighed judged and found worthy. Do you understand the lore of the Republic Military?: As one of the biggest complainers of when it is not used correctly yes Availability: 2PM EST - 7PM EST Mon to Sat generally speaking Give a brief overview of your achievements on the server: CG2ndLT Wolffe x2 Spec Reg Master Kenobi Windu Yoda x2 Anakin/ 501st LTCl Guild LT What do you feel the role of the Chancellor is? The role of the Chancellor is one that is layered. The first and foremost thing is that it is a RP position that requires some of the strictest discipline to perform it correctly. You are to be the prime example of what leadership amongst the server should be striving to be. While also managing the Senate and making sure that all the senators are active performing their roles correctly and most importantly behaving. The Chancellor is also a position that is to act as a third director of a sort where they help select members of the community who wish to become commanding officers of their battalions and regiments. It is also your duty as Palpatine to oversee all the battalion regiments and factions to make sure they are functioning correctly and be available to help resolve any issues they experience whether that is working with the respective regimentals, BCMD’s or high staff to help conclude an issue. Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want the Republic Military to be at the end of your term?: Honestly I want it to be in a stable place with very little unresolved drama as the server and people are ever changing. You can’t really control it or force it to go any one way (as I have learned throughout my time as yoda) you can only provide people the tools and examples and hope they follow it. I want the server to be a lot more RP friendly and less restrictive on how it is done in regards to rule rp, but to also keep a strong standard on still acting within your role. For example a battle stressed trooper running out of base could be treated as a RP situation over an AOS or a stressed Jedi falling to the darkside. But a guy running out of bunks shooting up the place or a clone acting inappropriately such as “/me throws pocket and at anakin” would be punished as a clone really wouldn’t act like that unless they were really close with that character and it was a kind of in-joke. I hope that attitudes would follow that logic and peoples RP experiences would generally improve while on the server. How do you plan to change the Republic Military under your command?: I want to see a more proactive HC in regards to RP-ing more and focusing less on the constant admin works of the job. My prime example of a current excellent Reg is Bro and the RP he does with his troopers and the greater server this is not a slant against any of the current REG’s but with most of them being new I haven’t seen alot of it yet outside of Deku and his IG droid. I would like to create a more diverse version server that helps encourage RP form all the factions and how they interact over the awkward stalemate with how to act with bouty hunters being 60% - 40% hostile and oh look the CIS yay shooty shoot. I am hoping to open up some of the more basic event jobs such as the prisoner, civilian, engineer and scientist jobs to be usable during off time in a similar manner to the days of yore on endor with VIP encounters. Of course this would need to be discussed with the High staff and guidelines created to help control how people act and hold them to a standard. Currently these roles would be strictly non combative I.E they don’t have weapons but they could easily be hostile and do hostile actions in RP using the characters station. I would also like to see the planets being used more for patrols and stationing nothing silly like scheduled stationing but more reasons to head out and hold a outpost and pushing the encounter teams to do more small scale stuff for smaller groups on those planets but that would be more of a staff thing I could only bring up as a suggestion to them. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term? Yes
  6. We've had them before they were hardly utilised and even less by the server at large like the cafeteria. Just get someone to make a dupe and have it placed when you want to fo something with it -1
  7. ...I think one of those flamethrowers was me
  8. A man of my own heart This seems accurate to that quote
  9. I will try these methods hopefully they work thanks
  10. Because that requires effort
  11. Scarecrow

    Information

8/10 Small scale simple but solid characters a all around nice experience would participate again only minor addition I would make is maybe like the umbara part place a few props around and have a mini investigation sceene where you might have to track someone down like the endor part we could of gone there and found the village empty and had to follow a trial its only a minor thing and wouldn't effect anything just a little idea for next time if you ever want to do something like that again. :-)
  12. I've been having a issue with my mic on Gmod lately where my mic isn't being picked up unless I am neigh shouting at it. My MIc works fine on all my other apps and I am not sure what I can really do to fix it I've googled the issue not found any fix thus far so If anyone else has had the same issue and has a fix
  13. 5/10 I personally do not enjoy it when GM's announce their evil plans over a announcer like a bad anime villain but even then I understand the necessity at times however the event felt very cobbled together and that the GM had no control as the event seemed to spiral into more and more insanity as it went on [Mainly all the brig related stuff] when it comes to lore characters such as Dooku Grevious ect. who are not aloud to die I feel a escape plan should always be ready to go before hand like a ship which is set high and no clipped so you can escape in the first place or something to that effect as there is nothing worse than when we capture a enemy with plot armour as the event needs to rescue the character or submit to a loss in which the character would be transported of base or just leave.
  14. I like the Idea of a miners guild more civi shit would help create more passive RP but I am not a fan of the add on or any sort of dark RP stuff really That died with Joah didn't it
  15. Erm can you help me first?
  16. I used to be nice and reasonable now I'm just rough coarse and irritating
  17. Other than RP with Omega what can they explicitly do with RP that no on else can do or that they add specially without it being something that is a gameplay function like negotiations? I am on this point only because in regards to their lore there isn't anything special about them other than they hate mandalorian's and that's about it. So I'm fine with saying that the people in 2ndAC care about RP and may be really good at it but that would be a thing independent of Parjai not because of it. That is a new model as it may be a reskin it will still take up space because it is still a model and requires textures it would function like the bounty hunter "skins" sure they use the same base model but they are still individual models too and if they need to be compatible with the previous body groups or it would need to have them all added to the reskin. Unless a dev wants to explain that more. Omega have their nights ops and their lore colours sure do they only really need one set sure but they have lore to support it plus they so little resources go into their squad. Night ops armour for your unit why? why should the 212th in that regard be so special because if you want contextual use armour why shouldn't then everyone else not then request something like that for themselves. Below is some of the only lore Parjai has and they interaction with Omega and how they feel about the night ops armour In 21 BBY, the 2nd Airborne Company was stationed aboard the Republic auxiliary ship Core Conveyor, along with the Republic commandos of Omega Squad. The paratroopers resented Omega Squad because of their Mandalorian heritage - the 2nd Airborne had lost many battles to the Mandalorians. They outfitted Omega Squad with jet packs, which led to some disagreements because the commandos had black armor but the jet packs were orange and white. "Couldn't you at least get us matte-black ones? I don't want to plunge to my doom with uncoordinated accessories. People will talk." "You'll have white, and like it." ―Fi appeals to Barlex for black winged jet packs "Nice of you to join us, Omega, and may I be the first to say that you look like a bunch of complete prats?" ―Barlex greets Omega Squad I have not really found this anywhere within their lore. Sure the page you posted say "elite unit" as a describer but no actual source to what makes them elite in the book they appear in they are just a squad in the 2nd airborne company nothing special. Most lore pages that talk about units call them elite because its a nice descriptive tool I confirmed this with a few people who know that lore better than myself. To talk about the not necessary point I did not say that at any point although do agree with the sentiment as I want a good justification for it as I am with all suggestions I see that just say add this because I think x thing is just neat. The truth is this body group just plainly isn't necessary and especially if its only use is going to be used for night ops as that just reeks of entitlement. If you want something then you need to justify it and be honest about why you want it as you don't want these models for the "roleplay" or anything like that its because well they exist and personally you and the 212th think they look neat and thats perfectly fine as a position to have but thats the only real argument for these Ive been trying to point out logistics of adding things blindly and if they do nothing really for RP. Also if you get these models then the next time the 104th wants something or the Jedi/Sith/CIS/BH want something we then need to give it the same credence as this post I am not trying to be awkward but I am expressing fair scrutiny i feel
  18. That means that you want them for cosmetics but only certain contexts that makes your argument for them even worse. if you want it for Parjai and they wont even use it full time, what next a faction that only exists in events? But on a more serious note seeing as you haven't provided a link to the size of the models only screen shots of them.So the file size cost is currently unknown the 501st when they last wanted a model/job being added they had to loose a job and model that being Echo to add Vaughn and seeing as you both have the same amount of jobs and models maybe more already. So would you be willing to loose access to some other models or jobs if it came down to it for these models like the 501st did? Regardless if there on a new job or just the standard ones they are still going to take up extra space on the sever. Truthfully we really do need to justify this addition when weighed against what is currently there vs other battalions and factions. Especially when you are trying to justify it for "Victory Squad" who make a cameo in a Republic Commando novel and who has a passing mention they that are being deployed to Utapau who were pretty much described as standard looking 2ndAC. if you where after making a argument for all 2ndAC to look like that sure I'd complain lore but cest la vie we have havoc squad to hurt that argument. ThIs is just as the server does not unlimited in terms of space and the devs, founders and what now to my knowledge have a allocated amount of space any battalion has in terms of sever allocated resources and each addition means they need to re-evaluate what is currently there and what would need to go to justify the change.
  19. we'd need to define emulate as Many religions in star wars are a hodgepodge of religions and could arguably be emulating religions https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Religion#:~:text=The Force and the Jedi,%2C and Judaism—and Buddhism. -1
  20. I don't recall this going through council you get approval
  21. I mean we can already do stuff with the same effect with just a little creativity I.e just texture yourself see through and blue sure you won't see and of the near by props but that could be done and if you can't speak then theres not much point -1
  22. -1 The CIS can't really function as RP focused faction being that they are glorified pvp events at this current time and adding a saber user won't help any RP issues that exist this s just wanting a saber using pvp unit which i would be willing to hear the argument for but none of this Lore: Dooku has regularly shown a blatant disregard for the rule of two when it came to him training dark force users to work under him. They were not sith merely tools. trying to justify it as it simply is not true Dooku cared lot about the rule of two. Manly as in he would not wish to anger Sidious again. Every apprentice Dooku had was approved by Palpatine that being Ventress, Savage and Vos. Even then have never understood the complaint about the "CIS" doesn't RP enough. Just on the basis that they are a always hostile enemy faction. In war you don't do a lot of chatting to the enemy generally speaking. Even then Battle droids and clones don't do much smack talk to one another and the only people who ever really communicate with CIS are the senate diplomats and the Jedi Generals and alot of that is during combat. Personally I hate it when people make the argument that Comms RP is a good example of RP during CIS operations as a positive. This is mainly because your average C tier event or even D or worse Tier events will include the most basic comms RP during it. At least with Sith functionally as a faction they had creative things you can do with them. Being dark side force users and the amount of lore that comes with that and potential RP that could be done was high alongside that they could be be neutral or hide as a civies. There were a lot of potential situations that could be created with their presence, Sure there was a lot of bad elements like ROE and other thing immersion breaking and what not but sith as a faction has a identity and limitless amounts of possible things you can do with it. But when it comes to a faction that you at war with and the fact that they only exist for operations what RP can you do? Because to explain the RP of the CIS it would simply be your motivation is that you are a droid and you were designed to destroy the republic and you are 100% the enemy at all times to the republic. Then simply faction built up of droids that's only purpose is to shoot the nearest rep solder. The RP that one can do as the CIS is just not there really unless we want constant commando droids or defector RP other than that ts just engagements. The only thing is that currently the CIS in their current state are nothing but glorified event jobs that not the leaderships fault its just a fact. When sith was a thing at least they had the benefit of being a full time faction. No they won't have you ever been in a event where a sith attacks base? They are some of the first jumping in to Fight Burn RC shotgun Mando Rifle or NT the Sith
