  1. The way I fixed it was by closing Gmod, unsubscribing from the Venator workshop content, manually deleting the file. Then launch Gmod and join the server, do not re-subscribe to the Venator as this way you can download the version the server is using rather than the update d version on the workshop.

    C-9979 Takedown

    Summary of the story:

    High Command sent communications to Naval on a small mission for our Venator, C-9979 Crafts were tracked to be headed into Naboo. Our goal was to cut them off through Hyperspace and engage them at Naboo's atmosphere and prevent any CIS forces from deploying. Naval engaged the Hyperdrive and once arrived two C-9979 Crafts were spotted. Naval fired at the crafts and disabled them, allowing for Troops to embark on LAATs and fly to them, eliminating the forces in between and planting explosives to blow the crafts. Whilst this was happening, Naval was unaware of a third C-9979 Craft which was scanned to be directly underneath, navigating itself towards a Hangar Bay and blowing it open to deploy its units onto the ship. CIS Forces crowded into the Starboard Hangar. While GM planted charges on the first two Crafts, the third began deploying into the Starboard Hangar after blowing it open. GM moved to the third after confirmation on detonation of previous Crafts as called, but once arrived the third Craft moved over the Skygate and crashed - knowing they were going to be bombed and began deploying units into the MHB before blowing up. Troops held off at the MHB while GM confirmed detonation and stopped the 3rd Craft.

    GM blew up the Crafts & troops held off the MHB & Starboard Hangar

    Shoot 'em up, but with a twist where it's us attacking them rather than us getting attacked.

    Flank Run

    Summary of the story:

    In the on-going conflict between Geonosis & Tatooine, a CIS Frigate was seen slipping into Hyperspace away from the battle and its direction faced Endor. Our Venator was contacted to travel to Dagobah and flank the Frigate. The jump was made and the Frigate as in sight, Battalions were ordered to be stationed in MHB to prevent any boarding while GM moved into the vessel to plant explosives. Naval bombarded the vessel to prevent it from fleeing but it managed to send out a distress signal where a second CIS Frigate arrived and launched an attack on the Venator and deployed its units into the MHB. GM planted explosives on each ship and blew them up one by one while the rest of the troops prevent enemies from breaching into the ship past MHB. Meanwhile, unnoticed, General Grievous flew in a separate ship and sneaked in through the Airlock while no one was watching. He took control of the hangar doors and killed the Naval in charge, strolled into MHB was troopers were blindsided by his empty ship and stole back his Soulless One from the RC Hangar. He managed to escape with his ship.

    What was the result of the event?:

    GM blew up the Frigates & troops held off the MHB.

    CIS Overtake

    Summary of the storyline (The Game Maker who chooses to run this event should contact you for more info):

    Part 1 - Main Server - Venator

    A Commando Droid sneaks onto the ship, being lead by a Tactical Droid through ship schematics they've gathered and heat signatures to determine the safest paths around. The Commando Droid encounters some of the ship's droids and hacks them to fulfill its mission. One of the droids manages to upload a Hostile CIS Ship AI that takes over the entire Venator, its firewall changing every second making it near impossible for it to be hacked as all systems begin to be locked out from all access. The CIS boards the ship and proceed to take over it with numbers, Battalions do not give up until being informed by High Command the ship is en route to an asteroid field, the CIS goal seemingly to be the total destruction of the Venator. With no other option, DEFCON 1 is called and all Battalions make their way to the Main Hangar Bay for evacuation.

    Part 2 - Event Server - rp_swchaos

    All forces will land on a nearby planet at an old Military Training ground. While High Command attempts to make contact with the Republic, Battalions and everyone else is to accommodate themselves in their new temporary home. We have lost the Venator and do not stand a chance of getting it back with our current odds, it is Base Code 6 and things are to continue moving forward. During an active training in the outskirts of the base, some explosions trigger the wakening of hostile life forms that currently hibernate underneath the base in the caves. The ground would begin to shake and suddenly the camp would be surrounded by these enemies and swarm around everything in their path. All forces would have to protect the base for as long as possible. After holding out for some time, an unknown unit would move onto the base and annihilate the hostile forces. They would proceed to land in the base and ask about what the Republic is doing here and why did they wake up the creatures; they would speak with authority as if the base is theirs and we are trespassing. A discussion will arise about the Republic's current situation and depending on how it goes either the owners of this base ally with us and come up with a plan to take the Venator back or treat us as hostiles and overwhelm us with their advantage - forcing us to evacuate once more.

    If they ally:

    During the discussion, it is made known that the Venator has gone off course from its original trajectory to the asteroid field, with CIS Frigates jumping out of hyperspace and they come to the conclusion they must have planned to have us evacuate so they could take the Venator, allowing them to hyper jump straight to Coruscant for a undercover attack. With the situation explained, the locals state they have some highly intellectual members in their midst and may just be able to hack through the CIS AI if we were able to escort them to the Command Deck. Everyone gets ready, loads up back onto the LAATs and fly to the Venator alongside their newfound allies.

    Part 3A - Event Server - Venator

    The troops will make it back onto the Venator, they will land through one of the open hangars that the CIS was using to load in forces and make their way through the ship. Each Battalion will be in charge of clearing out their own Battlestation's area whilst one of them pushes through to the Command Deck with our allies in order to remove the hostile AI. The Tactical Droid overseeing the operation informs General Grievous that the troops have returned and he makes his way onto the ship with his guards. The battle continues until our allies succeed to stop the AI, although while the CIS does not give up in their efforts and continue to attack with their Frigates. Once the AI is removed, Naval can take control of the ship's weapons to attack the Frigates. The space battle will continue for a bit until the Republic received reinforcements from their initial contact to the Republic and the CIS has no choice to retreat as their Frigates receive heavy damage. General Grievous escapes on his Soulless one if not captured for his crimes against the Republic and taken to Coruscant.

    With all now back in order, the Troops will spread out their resources to repair the ship and get everything back to normal as a diplomatic alliance is made between our newfound allies and our Venator.

    If they do not ally:

    Should discussions go wrong or certain troopers grow too hostile with the locals, all troops will be forced to hold out in the base for as long as possible until the LAATs are ready to take off. The base would be bombarded relentlessly, giving the troops no option but to leave and do one last effort to take back the Venator by force.

    Part 3B - Event Server - Venator

    While en route to the Venator, it is made known that the Venator has gone off course from its original trajectory to the asteroid field, with CIS Frigates jumping out of hyperspace and they come to the conclusion they must have planned to have us evacuate so they could take the Venator, allowing them to hyper jump straight to Coruscant for a undercover attack. Brainstorming is made while heading to the Venator and Naval gives out the idea that if we shut down the engines and initiate a full hard reset then the ship would revert back to its original functions, essentially removing the AI and its hold on our systems. This would result on a vulnerable Venator, no shield, no lights, no weapons. The troops will make it back onto the Venator, they will land through one of the open hangars that the CIS was using to load in forces and make their way through the ship. Each Battalion will be in charge of clearing out their own Battlestation's areas whilst one of them pushes through to the Engine Room with Naval in order to hard reboot the ship. The Tactical Droid overseeing the operation informs General Grievous that the troops have returned and he makes his way onto the ship with his guards. The battle continues until Naval succeed to stop the AI, although while the CIS does not give up in their efforts and continue to attack with their Frigates. Pilots will have to take the LAATs in order to slow down the Frigates from attacking the Venator and divert further damages. With the Engines down, lights will go out and the troops will fight through the darkness for some time. Grievous will push with his Guards to prevent the troops from succeeding, possibly seeking to bring the ship down in its vulnerable state. Republic receives reinforcements from their initial contact to the Republic and the CIS has no choice to retreat as their Frigates receive heavy damage. The Venator boots up with the AI gone, while all system settings have been reset to  their original programing all can agree its better to have to go through everything and update it than to lose it all. General Grievous escapes on his Soulless one if not captured for his crimes against the Republic and taken to Coruscant.

    With all now back in order, the Troops will spread out their resources to repair the ship and get everything back to normal - or so we thought as the locals from the planet surround our vessel and demand we leave at once or declare war. Naval agrees it is the best move to leave and not escalate thing, even if all the Battalions demand otherwise. The Republic reinforcements may question this decision until it is made know it was the Republic that mistakenly made the initial hostile move on the locals and the locals had the right to defend their planet if hostilities did not cease. Further diplomatic discussion will need to be made to neutralize our status with the locals.

    Blazing Pantoran Visit

    Summary of the story:

    A Pantoran representative was escorted into the ship with some Senate Guards in order to inspect our Troops and decide whether his side of the Papanoid civilization saw the Republic as a right fit for them and join our Senate. Whilst taken around the ship, the "Blaze Brothers" Battalion requested permission to land for refueling as the Blaze Brothers used up most of the ship's fuel for their flame throwers. Things proceeded as usual on the Venator, as the Senator continued inspecting the Troopers the Blaze Brothers had their ship refueled and left. Soon after a group of Deathwatch mercenaries arrived from tracking the Blaze Brother's ship, they scanned the Venator and saw a Republic Senate ship docked and came to the conclusion a Senator must be on board. With the Blaze Brother's leaving, they took the opportunity to land in the open Hangar and sought the Pantoran representative. They went through the whole ship alongside their Saber-Wielding companion but failed to find the Senator Representative and ultimately faced their death, whilst one got captured. Republic faced minor causalities, including the death of a Senate Guard at the hands of an Elevator that shut on him. A last surviving Deathwatch Mercenary was captured, interrogated and sent to Coruscant. The Pantoran announced his leave and will be reviewing our results for his decision to join our Senate.

    Senator Representative and one Senate Guard lived, Deathwatch Failed, Republic succeeded.

After hearing the circumstances I wanted you to get bailed out, it was understandable how it happened after the explanation but at that current time it just seemed straight forward. I'm sorry.

    Kamino Attack

     

    Summary of the story:

    Whilst the Venator was away for repairs (Main Server down) the Troops came over to Kamino, welcomed by some Kaminoans & droids. They roleplayed for a while until a cloaked Commando Droid approached an Astromech and hacked it, sending it off to find out where the DNA of Jango Fett is being held so Grievous can retrieve it. Once it was found and information relayed to Grievous he dispatched his guards & military units to make way for him.

    Grievous, his Magna Guards and a bunch of B1/B2s landed onto Kamino and made their way for the Cloning Facility. While the Magna Guards covered Grievous, he retrieve the DNA but ultimately lost is as he slipped and fell of the edge of the bridge. A Kaminoan Medical Droid later on finds the vial and returns it. All Magna Guards and Droids are quickly taken care of as Grievous escapes on the Soulless One. A final attack on the Acclamator is made by B1/B2s in order to distract the troops from the fleeing Grievous. Troops boarded the Acclamator and went back to the Venator.

    Grievous almost got away with it if it weren't for those meddling clones and their stupid slippery floors.

    Summary of the story:
    Deathwatch infiltrated the ship by attaching a small EMP device to wiring found in the hull, shutting the lights down and momentarily lowering security to sneak in. They were on a mission and failed it.

     

    What was the result of the event?:
    Deathwatch got quickly killed by troopers who had access to prototype weaponry code named "Magna Cannon"

    Shoot 'em up because meeting soon + Event server taken up.

    Wrong Town

    Summary of the story line (The Game Maker who chooses to run this event should contact you for more info):
    High Command receives a transmission from the Republic about a Town that has been in constant conflict from hostile forces, they are to deploy a Battalion (can do 1 Battalion at a time or send in multiple based on how many Event Jobs there are) to go onto the Planet and investigate, set up an outpost and protect the Towns Folk. After arriving, they found a quiet land, no sign of any conflict and when coming into town it all seems is well. The troops may question the civilians or walk around, set up an outpost or scout out for enemies. In truth, the hostiles have overtaken the town by this point and upon seeing the Republic coming they disguised themselves as the Towns Folk. Some of the surviving civilians may be hiding or being held captive, they could be found by the Troopers if they search well enough. The hostiles will try to gain the friendship of the Troops, get them to lower their guard and once it happens they will strike in a surprise attack attempt. Whatever the result, the Troops may either win or lose, hostages may be freed or killed, etc.

    2/3rd Roleplay with 1/3rd Shoot 'em up.

    Event Name:
    Cad Bane's Apprentice Bounty Hunter

     

    Summary of the story:
    A Trandoshan Bounty Hunter apprentice of Cad Bane was sent on a mission to the Venator by his Mentor, ordered to steal data or fulfill an in-and-out mission without being caught or at least survive and escape.

     

    What was the result of the event?:
    The Trandoshan sneaked onto the ship through the vents while the security systems in that sector were down, went into the Armory and put on a Clone Trooper suit. All was going well until dead bodies from a previous encounter were found and the Defcon was lowered, making the mission harder but he remained hidden. After being questioned for being in areas he is not supposed to as a CT, he went to one of the dead bodies and put on the armor of a 41st and proceeded to enter the Engine Room and plant explosives on a few engines to create a distraction. After multiple attempts to retrieve data from the IR, he was questioned by a 41st Trooper whom he killed but was seen by a GM, the Trandoshan tried to chase him down but exposed himself in MHB where a group of 212th & a Jedi began pursuit. They eventually eliminated him in the halls of floor 1, discovering it was a Trandoshan in trooper armor. Cad Bane, disappointed in another apprentice, cuts communications and is not heard from anymore.

    Bring up to a Game Master for blacklisting, it is something that will be added to the training room as well as something Game Masters need to explain to event jobs who get Adv. Cloak. Therefor, anyone that abuses it has already received their warnings, pretty much should be given to trusted event jobs, like Dets.

    Event Name:

    187th Came to Visit

    Summary of the story:

    A group of 187th members were on leave from the Venator they were transferred to and with a made-from-scrap ship they flew to the Redeemer to visit us. It got somewhat troublesome, as Naval and High Command were extremely weary of 187th, demanding they took off their helmets, stripping them of access to most rooms and always had troops watching them. Their ship was damaged and while repairs were undergoing it caught on fire and was forced out the ship before exploding. They came with well regards from Commander Ginyu and to honor their fallen Commander BCNS. The Redeemer crew grew a distrust to these troopers and made up a fake mission to deploy them to in order to get them off the ship. Their ship sent them to a different system on an LAAT that only had enough fuel for one trip. Upon arrival, the 187th found what seemed to be the FOB but found themselves in a corner when unsuspected alien forces attacked them instead of facing off against the CIS as they thought. Their goal was to recover the body of their sector's REG CMD, Chillybones' body, which they found (or so they thought) to be but a torso. The mission was all a fake but 187th still got into quite some scenario. They were outnumbered and fled into what they thought was a cave but upon exploring found out it was an underground bunker with a ship. They patched the ship up and set course for Redeemer. Once they returned, to the disbelief of Naval, it turned out (of course) that the corpse was not the REG CMD's and was infected, sprawling out the alien race all over the Temple where they had crash landed on emergency. With the help of Temple Guards & Sarra Keto, they took down all the aliens. The Redeemer crew, still weary of 187th, demanded them to be analyzed in Medbay and cleansed of any infection. During the inspection, the Medic got infected from washing his hands with dirty water that became infected airborne with the virus (He rolled a 1...) and was taken out to be tended by another Medic. The 187th refused to be treated by him as they were fine, it as the outside of their armor that was infected, so they were taken to a separate room and ended up performing the medical procedure on themselves with the machine thanks to the MEDXO. Afterwards, they were escorted to bunks to get some rest, forced to share bunks with new recruits. After their rest, they got back onto their new ship and flew back to their Venator.

    People have serious trust issues and treated the 187th like they were undercover CIS traitors.
