  1. RP Name: CG SUP MSGT Aegis | Jedi Neophyte Padawan Tacitus | Freelancer Tressa Colzione Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:50686372 VIP (Y/N): Y Age: 25 Timezone: EDT/EST Tell us why you want to be an administrator (6 sentence minimum): Joining Synergy has been an absolute blast. I found things confusing to start, but the playerbase and administration team have been incredibly helpful, and I want to return the favor. Currently I try to maintain order as part of the Courscant Guard, which leads to fun RP as there is no shortage of shenanigans going on, but also contributes to overall server activity. By having order, it also allows players to immerse themselves more in-character, generating solid RP experiences for all players, and encouraging community growth. As an administrator, I feel I could do more to help create and deepen RP experiences by running simulations, the use of props/dupes, and rectify any issues that I would normally be helpless with as a player. Furthermore I could better assist gamemasters, and make things go smoother for all parties involved. By keeping things engaging, interesting, and fun, it would create an amazing experience for everyone to dive into, with the hopes that players new and old feel welcome, and have fun. I understand that I will be looked up to, and already try to show respect and empathy to all, striving to be a good example for others. Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): I'm a nerd from Canada who loves to spend time with friends, but I end up being stuck working a lot since I graduated from college. It pays the bills, and allows me to fund my hobbies, so I really shouldn't complain. I am an avid fan of Tabletop RPGs, and I am a Dungeon Master for a couple of campaigns, and a player in several others. One of my prized possessions is a set of tungsten dice with brass inlays, and yes, they do damage tables. When not rolling dice or playing on Garry's Mod, I'm usually trying to get caught up on my list of shows to watch, books to read, and games to play, or just bouncing around talking to my friends, or even meeting new people. It's never a dull moment, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Do you have any previous staff experience? If yes, please elaborate on what you have accomplished: I do. I have previously worked for multiple smaller communities as their developer/configurer. I've set up DarkRP servers from scratch, implemented content, done testing, coordinated with both staff and players to smooth out any issues, and eliminate any bugs. I've dabbled in Helix as well, but only minor things like implementing quests with a quest system, assisting with vendors, and helping other members of staff. Furthermore, when not working on any updates and/or projects, I spent time roleplaying with everyone else, starting some passive RP if none was already happening, and helping out GMs with their grand plans. How many hours of in game time do you currently have on our Clone Wars server?: 195 hours 34 minutes 47 seconds at the time of writing.

    Demornic Escalation

4/5/5 I am thoroughly intrigued, and had a lot of fun guessing at what things were, or how they worked. Definitely confusing, but lots of fun to interact with various groups.

    Droids? Uh oh.

3/4/5 Fun shoot-em-up, really enjoyed the droid intercom, really drew me in. Little confusing and aimless at points, but that's more of a player/command isssue.
  4. +1 Edit: In all seriousness, the writing is on the wall. You're incredibly active and put in tons of effort, which clearly shows in the current state of affairs. CG as a whole is still a work in progress, but definitely has a rock solid base to build off of, and I'm certain it's a major improvement from before (I wouldn't know the full extent as I am newer here). Those who find your quick promotions dubious, and worry about underhanded dealings are likely concerned that they were not earned fairly, as they cannot see the full extent of the work you've put in behind the scenes. I'm sure there are a few who are just venting their jealousy and envy at not having been able to achieve what you have, but it does highlight that things aren't able to be fair. Not everyone has the time you do, and it sucks that some cannot make major strides due to circumstances. Please don't burn yourself out, and uh... don't set the bar too high for the rest of us? I will say CSM to 1LT is a bit much, but I'm sure there are perfectly reasonable reasons, and I will humbly accept my promotion from 1SGT to LT COL. Regardless, it seems you have a plan, though I personally feel a bit more transparency would be nice, as it sometimes feels as if you hide away in offices having private conversations for hours on end, only to emerge and give us a chicken nugget of progress/information. Putting up a to-do list, timeline, or just a little bulletin board of "Hey, we're working on restructuring XYZ", so that way we can look and say "Oh cool, they're in talks for reworking DS. Oh now they're adding X to trackers" would likely go a long way in helping others see your vision, and potentially even lead to more suggestions or help. As for your plans with CG, you bring up a noble vision, but how do you plan on addressing the current issues such as the bloated NCO/Officer corps? The ratio of Officers and NCOs to enlisted is very skewed, which may project an unwarranted level of elitism, or the image of the battalion being a glorified Officer's Club. Adding on to that, you mention that you want to see serious roleplay, but I'm failing to see consistent seriousness. How do you propose we turn serious RP from "Use Voicemod, walk in formation, and be sheep", into "Think in character, care about lore/mannerisms/etc., and taking initiative"? What I mean by that is, I should want to use terms that are from the Star Wars universe, get confused by people using IRL terms (ones that can't work both ways), and want to go out of my way to interact with the world around me as my character would. Currently it ends up being more along the lines of stay near the detention center, ready to act in character when something is going on, do what we're told to do (zero questions or PT), and try to decipher utterances filtered though voicemod. That isn't to say using voice changers and filters is bad, but it's being used to a degree that impacts immersion (Get your helmet fixed, you must have damaged it), instead of enhancing it (Wow you're actually wearing a helmet and it sounds like it). To bring it back around, your propositions look to be great roleplay, but with no way to promote seriousness. You're no paragon of serious RP, you're not the best leader, nor are you always the most tactful person; but you're always there, always trying to improve, always seizing the day, and trying to bring out the best in others while doing so. Your only human, and have the vision and the will to bring about change. I will fully support you in your endeavors. +1 Gods this turned into a bit of a ramble...
  5. 4/5/3 gameplay was lots of fun, good RP opportunities. Lots of thought and effort put in by the GM team, but it was sabotaged by the sensitivity of gprotect. Overall a blast! Additon: The use of hologram sound effects immediately drew me in, and the puzzle aspect got the noggin joggin. Great attention to detail.

    HMC Go Boom!

    4/4/5 Fun little shoot-em-up.
  7. +1 capable, fun, and has a good head on his shoulders.
  8. 4/5/4 Lots of fun, very creative. Players had lots to engage with, and there was a lot to see and do. Lost lots of frames at some points, like with the fire and the lander. Little bit confusing at points, but thats the nature of comms being down. Ammendment: performance to 4, mostly my end not server.
  9. 4/4/5 Interesting, creative, and fun first half. Second half got confusing, and people could have communicated with CG better. I enjoyed using the power of smell to confirm who was who.
  10. 4/5/5 The air combat was nice, and that ship was really cool. Bit of a lull at the end, but otherwise quite fun.
  11. 4/4/4 Solid shoot 'em up, last few waves felt like they were dropped in a funnel. Splitting our attention would increase the challenge, say between central courtyard and main gate, or having the ridges and gate be assaulted simultaneously.
  12. 4/5/5 I was a little confused, but had a total blast being a youngling.
  13. 3/2/4 The mass spawning of striders caused me some lag, and was overall not a pleasant experience. Enjoyed the swarms of half zombies, questionable choice, but fun to shoot.
  14. 4/5/5 Droids are too spongy for the amount present.
