-1 In my full opinion I believe the perma ban was and still is fully justified. While yes it was done between adults. People talk, people share, there is no way to 100% contain anything that was shared. Especially when like others have said this server is an incredibly large percentage of people being minors. We cannot allow that behavior not just in the server but within the community as a whole. When Claire got banned originally it showed that server HICOMM took a firm stand on how not just they but most of the community as a whole who were in the loop felt, and to allow the ban to be lifted shows that server HICOMM is backpedaling their decisions which is not something that we should allow in general if this Ban gets lifted it is absolutely fucking despicable and anyone that takes a part in lifting it should be truly ashamed of themselves for fucks sake.

-1 What you did is obviously wrong and out of line in a community that has a significant minor presence. It is weird to sell content on this server, even if its intended for adults. You have no guarantee that it wouldn't get into the hands of a minor and you should have treated it like it potentially could and would. Our server is not advertised as for adults only. It is a server inclusive of all ages. We allow 14 year olds to be staff as a minimum, with an option for waives for those who were younger. The majority of people I meet and have met were 14-18 including myself. I was 12 years old when I started playing on Synergy and was one of many younger kids. Knowing about the significant amount of minors who play the server should have stopped you from doing it based on that alone. This is clearly not the platform nor the place for content like this and you did it deliberately. There are way more places to do exactly what you did. It's weird and gross to come on a server dedicated to playing as a character from Star Wars and use it to get money through selling pictures. To me I just don't think this is true. There is legit no way that it wouldn't get leaked and a minor wouldn't ever see it. You sold to a group of adults, which is fine, but those adults easily could have shared to a minor or been posted in a channel that could be seen or shared to another legal adult who would do it and so on and so on. Yes, times have changed, but honestly I think that it really can't be ruled as something that wouldn't happen and as a non-issue. I know you didn't have malicious action or any weird paedophilia shit but it was just you being stupid and risking something that was completely unnecessary to do something that clearly doesn't have a place in the community. Also lowkey the fact that people are already making "Heh.... +1.... I wanna see them...." jokes is soooooo corny How are we like this gang this is weird please bruh

-1 I'm strongly against allowing someone who previously sold explicit content (nudes) back on the server. This isn’t just a question of personal conduct, it’s a matter of community safety and responsibility. We currently have an active Lieutenant who is only 13 years old, and it’s no secret that our server includes a significant number of younger members. Reintroducing someone with a history tied to adult content, even if they're no longer engaging in that behavior, sends the wrong message and introduces unnecessary risk. This server should be a safe and welcoming space for everyone, especially minors. Bringing someone back who has publicly engaged in behavior that is explicitly adult, and potentially criminal depending on their age at the time. It shows a lack of regard for the kind of community we're fostering. It undermines the trust of both our members and their parents, and it opens the door to further scrutiny or even liability. This is not about holding someone’s past against them forever. it’s about setting and maintaining a standard that prioritizes safety, maturity, and appropriate boundaries for a mixed-age online environment. There are consequences for certain actions, and in this case, allowing them back would compromise the integrity and safety of the server.

in the sense she asked for IDs of each person involved? this seems like a sensitive topic but I'm not sure pornography is a thing we should start making quick apologies for in a server which is about 50% under 18

Well tbf gang, you sold nudes on a server where minors are prone to play aswell as posting borderline erotic NSFW in an accessible discord that's aswell prone to minors. That alone is already borderline what falls under all other perma/community bans. As well considering the reasoning following the previous major Ban appeal, I don't see any reason for you to be unbanned aswell -1

-1 this is not normal or acceptable behavior at all. this creates such a vile look on the community, especially with how fast this information travelled. i found out within hours purely by word of mouth and i was actually repulsed to know that it happened and was essentially mediated through synergy. imagine joining a server and day one you find out people trade nude photos and get away with it. i would go on a tangent about the danger with minors in the community, but it seems other people have kinda driven that point home. i agree! additionally, this wasn't a one off thing. i spoke to some people from a different community and they told me you have shared around explicit photos to other players of different gmod servers, making me think it would happen again if you were to come back. also you should stay gone for your own good, all it takes is one bad argument with someone or you getting a position over someone and it gets posted AND re-opens the dangers of a little kid seeing it

People get banned for worse or even less why did you think it was a good idea? Second why did you think it was also a good idea to sell nudes on a T RATED GAME THAT HAS PEOPLE THAT ARE UNDER AGE and on a server that will ban people for this stuff? Honestly High Command if you unban Claire I feel like you are setting a dangerous precedence for people when they want to get unbanned.

I am rescinding my vote as well alongside Mystic. When everything went down 6 months ago this sounded like a one off thing and not a big problem. Hearing that you’ve been selling pics in other communities is depressing to hear after I had faith in you. Keeping my last original paragraph as I still think and hope it’s true. From my experience with you I don’t think you’re a predator or had any malicious intention with your actions. I hope I don’t regret saying that down the road. GL with your ban appeal.

Due to the evidence given of 21 arrests, and @Zensras discription the ban will stand. As this is your first ban appeal I would assume to get no more then 2/3 arrests and then hop off the server. This time you lucked out. Please read up on the rules and join in the fun events and RP you might find you like it! Other then just being a nuisance. The Ban only has a couple of hours left. Reason(s) why we should accept your appeal: I have taken the time to understand the reasons for the ban. While I originally disagreed with the reason for the ban, I later came to realize that I shouldn't have done it to any member of the community, even if they were over 18. I have taken to time to take a break from Garry's Mod, only just recently partially coming back to another community in which I have later gone inactive on due to being busy. I understand that what I did has complications due to Synergy being an LLC, and also just not needed to have anyone like that in the community, and gross to have in a community, especially since the community is prone to minors. While I did apologize to Bear and Swill, I understand that I shouldn't have done it. I'd like to come back as I have learned my lesson, and wish to help out in Jedi again and other battalions. I believe I have served my time and wish to come back to the community, see what I have missed, and help out in whatever way I can. I've also been playing Arma 3, in which I have joined a unit, and have made good relations, and I have taken my time to learn and grow from my mistakes. I have continued to be friends with most of my close friends from Synergy, most leaving, or just not around, however, I continue to somewhat keep my relations with my friends. Evidence to support your claims: While I don't have much to support my claims, I have the messages that I had sent to Swill and Bear apologizing months ago. And I'd be willing to sit down one night to apologize to all the founders and directors and apologize to the rest of the community for the actions I have done.
