*PURPLE PRIDE WORLDWIDE* Greetings and Salutations, A lot of the newer players don't know me, some of the older Players might still remember me though. My name is Jirachi, I was in the 187th as one of their Commander Positions the first time it was around. I am coming forth today with a small bit of hope to see about getting the 187th Reinstated as a Battalion on the server. Now, I understand the the 187th has had a bit of a reputation in the past, especially during it's first Iteration, I wasn't around for the second. BUT, I also believe that with the Right Leadership, and the Right Focus, they could be one of the best Battalions again on the server. I know that this Suggestion might get some backlash or may not be popular given some of the 187th's History, but knowing what I knew from before, the biggest issue has always been lack of a Strong BCMD. Put the Right person into the BCMD Position and the 187th could end up being a very unique experience for the server Name: Jirachi/Mute (Jedi Name) RP Rank: CT PVT/TGM Elder Knight, Former 187th CMD Suggestion: Bring Back the 187th Battalion as an attack Paratrooper Battalion Implementation: With the way the server is currently built, it would be easy for the 187th to work with either Naval or other Battalions to be Shock Troopers, Parachuting into Hostile Situations or landing into the Heat of Combat. They would Consist of Heavy Troopers, Combat Medics, Rocket Troopers, and ARC-Trained Personnel who could be called into lay down suppressing fire while the rest of the troops are able to land Safely. Lore: The 187th Legion, known for its elite urban warfare and direct coordination with Jedi General Mace Windu, played a pivotal role in many critical battles of the Clone Wars. Unlike other battalions that specialized in planetary assaults or mechanized warfare, the 187th brought a unique strategic advantage—precision strikes in dense environments, counterinsurgency tactics, and specialized close-quarters combat. Workshop content if applicable: Would Require Development, unless you want to use some already existing 187th Models. Parachutes for dropping into Combat. (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development" I did not focus on putting any specific Jobs or Models or anything on this Suggestion just because I'm not even sure it'll pass the suggestions, but if the 187th did end up coming back, I could work with whoever was going to be implementing it about the Models that would be necessary for the jobs. I also Know that this is kind of a selfish request of me, especially with Battalions with GM being pulled from the Roster, but if there's even a chance that I can hop back into my Purple Armor, I am going to try to and push for it.

The amount of people that -1 Improcco jet packs every time is crazy. Mfs sit there tweaking over jetpacks talking about "yea it's not for improcco" "improcco shouldnt have this" while sitting in some random ass batt and never even touching 41st. They clearly want this as a battalion and have wanted for awhile, let em have it! (this is my delayed crashout couldn't type this out before)

I don't understand why people are pissing themselves with this. To the people speaking about identity, Improcco did have an identity and they have been rebuilding one and building very specific roles for their squad members, this jetpack fits that with Getts role. Some are speaking to Gett having a jetpack and the ARC kit making him near alpha arc level while yes that can be perceived as such, now the area Improcco originally inhabited and is getting back to was that of not exactly Alpha ARC level when it comes to everyone being ARC but like Alpha ARC they filled this soft SOBDE role you could say. Back in the day both Alpha ARC and Improcco were in the SOBDE discord and both were able to deploy with SOBDe, hell Etain was split between Omega and Improcco. Now I know that SOBDE connection to Improcco hasn't really been a thing in a while and back in my day isn't this day but something like that should be considered before pointing at it as something broken or out of line with Improcco. But with the culture adjustments within the 41st when it comes to the battalion and subunits these kit adjustments may be different in execution and vision when I suggested Improcco back in the day, but what they are pushing for has been bringing them back up to standard and hopefully exceed those standards. I think the jetpack fits really well into the squad dynamic and the Improcco company that is being aimed for. +1

Then maybe server suggestions shouldn’t be public, because I thought the point was to give our opinions and vote on things as a community. But passed that, for me, It’s about wanting more of a reason then just “we want thing”. Sorry I don’t feel like that’s too big of an ask here. What if I ask for tukk to get a jet pack. Well with your reasoning it’s just one jet pack. Not that big of a thing shouldn’t have to explain why or give any sort of critical thought into it. I want a reason and a why. If they wanted GC to get drones because “well they’re our recon centered sub unit to main battalion that will help with spotting”. That’s a good reason. Great love it connects to their duty +1.

My issue isn't with people giving their opinion. Or honestly maybe it is. It's more so that every time 41st tries to put this up outside people come in and try telling them what to suggest or how they should do it. As 241st BCMD there is just no shot you understand what 41st as a battalion currently wants or has wanted. Not everyone wants to put up crazy suggestions or implement these new things at all times. This should not be some super controversial thing, they are asking for one jetpack on one whitelist. It doesn't need to turn into some philosophical debate about outside people telling 41st how they should run their battalion and what they should ask for. If they were asking for something super game breaking sure I'd get it, but it is ONE jetpack.

Fixer in lore is quiet and focused, this would bring Fixer something to do on server that is in line for his character. Tech is very knowledgeable and very precise with the tech he uses. This would also give them a edge over Omega and any other squad in SOBDE. Model: Alien Translator (Provide the model string if on server Ex. models/synergy_roleplay/trooper.mdl (Get this from the Q menu) Weapons: synergy_datapad (If you want a modfication to a weapon/saber you must put the weapon string in the suggestion. Ex. tfa_e5 (Get this from the Q menu)) Other: The 41st has given the green light for us to give Fixer and tech the Alien Translator also.

Again, this is one lore character whitelist that we're requesting a Jetpack on, and it'll be the only WL in the 41st that holds a jetpack. If you look above at the explanations I've given, I really don't see how this is negative towards other battalions or subunits, and is massively beneficial for Improcco with the mission set that we're going for.

I only speak for myself. I have no idea what anyone else in leadership thinks about this. While the whole "unique" thing is true, doesn't mean its a requirement and something that's needed in every suggestion. In terms of the server or leadership thinking that 41st doesn't need this or shouldn't have this is dumb imo. None of those people are actually in 41st so they have no real understanding of what the battalion needs or wants. Also want to note what I said earlier, disagreeing is more than okay. Just like you guys expressed your opinion that they shouldn't have it, I explained why they should. Just bc i have that fancy tag under my name doesn't make make automatically right or wrong, we're all just saying what we think under a suggestion. It's more than okay to disagree! Discourse is a good thing! To make it clear again, I ONLY speak for myself and am sharing my personal thoughts on this suggestion that has gone up many times.

Please keep conversations related to the suggestion itself and non-toxic.

Parting comment from myself is that I will maintain it wasn't malicious in nature on my part, apricate your evidence and what you've witnessed however from my POV I was simply shoot at doriods all be it whilst dealing with quite severe rubber banding. This is a problem with one of our current systems conflicting/otherwise improperly working with our new staff system. Azara, tundra, and xaze are aware of the issue and will be working to fix it. Until then, you'll have to hang tight.

I’m on mobile and struggling with quotes, but anywho. The primary mission set we have in place for Green Company is Recon and Alien Translation, but they aren’t the topic at hand here. The mission set that has been pushed for Improcco is a focus on Counter-Insurgency, Infiltration, and with the addition of the Hunters Mark, HVT assassinations. A jetpack on a single trooper would be an extreme asset to a unit tasked with what I’ve just listed, for both the advantage of maneuverability after hitting an HVT, and gaining the capability to access areas that were previously unreachable in infiltration operations.

+1 Support for 187th The 187th Battalion would bring a unique airborne shock trooper role to the server, filling a gap in rapid-insertion tactics and heavy frontline combat. With the right leadership, they could be a powerhouse, enhancing both roleplay and strategy. Their paratrooper specialization would create new mission opportunities and dynamic engagements. Given their rich lore and combat effectiveness, bringing them back is a smart move for the server. CT for life!

-1 Man, I was the other SA who was watching because it was suspicious you racked up so many kills so fast, then when I spectated I watched you look at a guy running to a fight and all your shots went straight into his back, it was very purposeful in nature as it wasn't 1 or 2 stray shots.

Ok so this suggestion has changed a bit, so i have a couple of things that i'm curious about before I decide if this is a yes or no. I would ideally like a lot of these things to be body groupers. A big thing i like is the "standard" look of clones. If we're going to pivot to something like this i would like to give people the option so not all heavies look the same. If this is how this would end up, so that we are able to customize our characters and look like plain clones even if we still want to, then I +1 this.

I think all of these changes are P good, I do think adding blood sacrifice to arligan would be nice tho +1 I also just thought it out, seems a bit odd to remove G heal from Bardan, especially since he's known as Gotab the Healer

IMO I think vehicles as a whole could use a little fine tuning to the old damage/HP/small arms fire damage. But at a surface level this just makes sense. +1

I'm a little confused about this sentiment. Server Leadership has indicated multiple times they want people to be trying new things for their battalion to make them unique and effective. 41st is suggesting for the 4th (I think) time that they get jetpacks. This is clearly something the server and server leadership don't think they need or should have. All we said with our -1s was that we want 41st to be actually unique as a battalion, not ask for something they've already asked for, and 4 battalions already have. I don't understand why we're getting pushback for expressing our opinion when it's the same opinion the server has had for months/years now. I'm also confused by the statement 'They've wanted it for awhile, let them have it'. Is this your opinion, or server leadership opinion?

You make it seem that it’s impossible to be able to give him something else and a jetpack at the same time 😂 the question I have for you is why do you care if one member of the entire 41st battalion gets a jetpack? How does it affect you? Edit: @Finn it’s okay if you don’t answer I just find it ironic you talk about uniqueness and doing something a battalion hasn’t done before yet just a few months ago Ghost company made a suggestion to copy Green Company by adding a DC-15x to all their whitelists

REAL, +1 ( I love how passionate they are to Improcco) instead of -1 every app they do *cough* like that one guy *cough*, give them other ideas!*. All there trying to do is make it different and grow there battalion people forget that 41st isn’t just a reconnaissance battalion, it an elite corps!

I'm gonna get hate for this but fuck it. +1 but gonna be up to Jayarr and others on it. I think they made their stance pretty clear. The only thing I will say - @Obsidian, The only problem I see in that is 2ndAC already does this. I do hope you guys figure out something. It's clear you guys are trying to cook.
