Why should we unban you/shorten the ban period?: It was a hella accidental post from an App Called Telegram and my friend sent me a link over it because he posts dumbshit all the time. (Not the old telegram, its an app), and i rightclicked it to copy it to my browser because the in-app player is absolute shit.  Then i pasted it, saw the content, then closed it. I tabbed back in game to do null tryouts, i rightclicked  to copy Ordos Advert, in which case i did that. BUT It ended up posting the LINK i had copied for some reason (In which case i cursed gmod for its horrible response and not copying the advert). Then i got kicked by Obiwan for my fuckup, then 2 hours later i got banned.  (Aside from this, the memes that came out of it already haunt me) 
Evidence to support your claims:   The app posts thumbnail previews, so i'd rather not. But the screenshot of it happening is uh, in various places. LOL.

-1 A member of the 501st did Brazzer.com which didn't even Hyper Link so you had to hand search it and he was banned for 3 days and denied a ban appeal why should Scribbles be allowed to be unbanned because he has friends on the server and a bigger reputation be allowed to have an accepted appeal for a link worse than that and it not getting passed.

 

Their also are kids under the age of 13 on the server and could have easily clicked on the link and because it was a mistake he should be scott free?

There's a reason their are rules if someone because they are a good person on the server and have friends are able to surpass these rules but new players or players with fewer friends/connections can not then why do we have rules at all?

+1. It was clearly a mistake and recieved too much attention when it happened. Bans are typically given to deter or punish behavior that is deemed as despicable or in ill effect to the server. This was clearly an accident, and regardless of what the rule is, I feel that it is of no purpose to ban Scribbles here.

It should be understood that he did break the rules, and therefore one may argue that he deserves a ban. While this is correct, the ban is completely useless as it was clearly an accident, and should be removed and/or not given as a result.

Now, if someone else did this; it could be alot worse. I also quickly googled that this is technicially a federal offence due to you 'advertising' (Intentionally or not) adult materials where there is minors (under 18). I'm going by this completly by a law standpoint, and how our rules work.

I have no issue with Scribbles, but the law is the law.

I believe he did it by accident and he paid the price for his error. @Scribbles Please don't ever do that again I know it was a mistake but next time you will get much worse and I'm only looking out for you. He hit it on the nose.  The issue is he shared porn with people below age, accident or not, it's illegal.
I cannot allow an unban, however have no problems with shortening it. Make it a day and never ever do it again.
