Fresh landing on a planet never before discovered by the republic. The 41st are deployed due to their skills with talking to indigenous life forums, and maybe one other to run security. They will have to go through learning some of their language and trying to understand their cryptic communications to learn about them and their way of life. They will then try and win their favor by completing tasks for the indigenous life forums in order to win their favor and get them to join the republic and get their aid in the forum of supplies in exchange for protection. Some of the tasks they could do are simple things, like using tech/eng to set up power for them, or go attack some natives beasts that attack their crops.
