They flew the LAAT's that dropped them off, all the way to The Battle Over Coruscant where the CIS kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine, they escorted and carved a path for Generals Skywalker and Kenobi alongside Kenobi's 212th Pilots such as Oddball. Blue Squadron is trained in every form of Aireal combat, Dogfighting (V-19s, ARC-170s, and V-Wings), Air support (LAATs, and Y-Wings), to escorting VIPs (Republic Lander shuttles). If you want to add a job, what would would this be replacing because that's how adding jobs and battalions is unless it changed recently -1 tho not entirely needed because the amount of times pilots are used would make them useless. Also since they have a lackluster class loadout, everyone can fly, and the amount of times pilots are ACTUALLY used, nobody would want to be them. Link to comment

Scrape Posted June 30, 2018 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2018 Well obviously this is StarWars and 104th wasn't the only battalion to have Pilots. Also I rarely see them on. My Pilots are some of the most active. There are 10 of us. They all are asking for these models. Pilots are being used more and more. I've been flying almost non stop the past few days. Every time there is an event and there is a Pilot needed it's either me, one of my guys, or someone that don't even have PLT in their name. This is supposed to be a Clone Wars server. 501st and 104th were the ones that used their pilots the most in the series. So why not let that tradition continue. I have 10 pilots and plenty of others asking to be trained. I don't see what the big deal is. If this server thinks Pilots are "useless", why do we get called for defending the venator, bombing frigates and infantry, transporting troops in LAATs? If they are "useless" then why have Pilot jobs at all. If you guys really feel like we are useless then delete all Pilot jobs from every Battalion. Don't play favorites. My squadron asks me almost every day, "Any updates on Pilot models?" and I have to look at them and say no they think we are useless. If I was them I would leave but I'm dedicated to keeping the Blue Squadron alive. This is STAR WARS. Without Pilots there is no war in the Stars. Just ground combat. 104th gets AT-TEs when no one else does. So why are you guys complaining that another unit might get a Job that's actually one of the most seen Pilot Squadrons right next to 104th. But whatever, you guys say what you want about Pilots and I 'll know that they are a crucial part of this server. 1 Report Link to comment

Also I will restate that Blue Squadron was only seen with the 501st for one mission at The battle of Ryloth when they were commanded by Ashoka Tano (I’m not even counting that only 3 survived). Blue squadron were not in the battle of Teth or the other ones you stated, those were just normal Pilots. And yes Hawk was the gunship Pilot thatdropped off anakin and ahsoka. I 'm not asking for them I'm asking for the regular Pilot job for my 10 Pilots that wanna actually be a pilot not a trooper with PIlot training. Blue Squadron was wherever anakin was. That's it. Swap out one of your jobs for it if you guys want it that bad. That’s what any other battalion would have to do. Also as far as lore says Hawk was not even part of Blue Squadron, and also it did not say anything referring to Blue Squadron contining after Ashoka’s command. It also does not make sense to say that wherever Anakin was Blue Squadron was, Anakin had several Squadrons he served in (Gold, Shadow) The blue armour could just be a coincidence. But I've dedicated time that I don't get back willingly to get this Pilot program up and going. I'm Hawk I have a Blue Squadron with 10 Pilots and each one has a blue number. All we are missing is a model. That is the only thing we are missing in the 501st is actual Pilots. We had them before but for some reason they were removed. I've got these Pilots trained and organized. I don't see any harm in giving them their rightful uniform. Link to comment

Zyner Posted June 30, 2018 Report Share Posted June 30, 2018 I'd suggest re-working the Hawk job, changing the name to 501st Pilot and bump up the slots to 6. You'll all have the Pilot skin, albeit Hawk but a pilot none the less. Then you just differentiate each other by the names you use. 501st [Blue Squadron] Pilot (6 slot) 501st Blue Squadron RANK Hawk 501st Blue Squadron RANK Axe 501st Blue Squadron RANK Slammer 501st Blue Squadron RANK Kickback 501st Blue Squadron RANK Swoop 501st Blue Squadron RANK Tucker And so on. You get your pilots job slots increased, get Blue Squadron, no need for models/jobs added/removed. The only thing you lose is the uniqueness of being Hawk (the only person with his particular model) but it's a small sacrifice to get what you want at minimal cost. Bonus: There is no way you'll get 5 new models for 5 new jobs, zero chance that suggestion will past. But what you can do is once your turn comes to do your models, give the desings of all the pilots to Gideon/Kyle and make that a Helmet bodygrouper. That way you each get your own helmets all on the same job. Also want to add that under no circumstances should anyone see an unnamed pilot on the job or a PLT with any other name but the ones listed above. The whole purpose of the change is to get those characters in, not unnamed pilots. 5 Report Link to comment

Well you need to counter the previous reason for the denial for this to have any chance, by the looks of it it's basically the same suggestion. You need to have an argument against: They died during phase I & they were only led by Ahsoka in a single mission, questioning connection as full 501st members. Answer that and you may have a chance. Some dont even have named characters. This suggestion was denied 2 separate times because there is no need. From experience I can tell you, YOU DONT NEED A JOB TO SET SOMETHING UP, ESPECIALLY PILOTS.
