In my time on Synergy I have only been in the 212th. I knew when I joined I wanted to rise the ranks and do something meaningful. During my time as an NCO I wanted to be a leading voice within the 212th, and I led every event I could; and encouraged other NCOs to do the same. As an officer, my trial period began with my mentorship over the NCOs, and I contributed to hosting weekly NCO meetings to ensure that the voices of those who enthralled the battalion were heard. 

 

During my time as a Senior Officer I have proven that my presence within the battalion is extremely valuable. I have become a pillar of the 212th and a notable figure to all I’ve encountered throughout my time here. 

 

Ghost Company XO

 

My time in Ghost Company helped me grow and learn from those above me in the subunit. I found the experience to be unique when compared to other positions like 2ndAC because of the way Ghost Company sells itself. I began my GC career as Cale and then transferred to Waxer, one of the most esteemed lore characters within the battalion. All in all Ghost Company has been my home, and the subunit is doing fantastic thanks to the work I have put in as GCXO. 

 

Regimental Advisor 

 

My time as a regimental advisor has given me tremendous experience due to the lack of a regimental leader in the battalion. For a while I worked alone as a REGA, and during that time I was focused on providing equal attention to all regiments to ensure that their health was prioritized. Moose was my fellow REGA for a while and we did good work together on making sure that regiments were taken care of but he has recently departed from 212th. Now I have had the pleasure of working with Tyler (Boil) who had single handedly revived ARF while he was ARFL and I had made him my fellow REGA to ensure that treatment to ARF is given to all regiments. Throughout my time as REGA I have tried to keep all subunit regiments and standard regiments active and healthy, however the ones that always struggle were standard SUP and MED. 2ndAC was and will always be the destination if you wanted to be a medic or support trooper in the battalion. 

 

Why should you become a Battalion Commander?:

 

I should become BCMD because I have ambition like no other in this battalion. Throughout my time as REGA I have brought life to several regiments by selecting individuals with a specific skill set and fitting them with the knowledge that they would need to be a successful leader. The people I have selected have always pushed through challenge after challenge, continuously emerging on top. I always provide constructive criticism and reinforce the concept that I am here to improve their skills. This goes hand in hand with Ghost Company as well, my time as GCXO has taught me that there will be times I need to make tough decisions and those decisions will cost me good people if I screw up. I have taken my failures and analyzed what occurred to create the outcome that transpired, to then take what I have learned so that I never make the same mistake twice. During the month of April, 2ndAC was suffering from a lack of leadership, activity, and overall logistical issues, primarily documentation. I took the direct responsibility to support the current leadership and revive that subunit while simultaneously doing my job as a Senior Officer, Regimental Advisor, and a subunit XO. The battalion during the month of April had 103 entertainments, 44 recruitments, and 50 boarding trainings because of me taking the reins and promoting activity and guiding people with an objective; get entertainments to triple digits and break the numbers made in March. 

 

I understand that this battalion needs a strong and active BCMD to genuinely represent the will of the people. I will be the BCMD that this battalion needs in order to continue to be the largest and most successful batt on this server. No matter what I will continue to push for these strong numbers while being the leader that people can look up to, by being active and engaged with the 212th and our community I can make 212th stronger. I also want us to understand that the last months have been hard but the future is brighter. Recently our activity has been consistent and 2ndAC has seen some much needed improvement; which I plan to push even further. However, this battalion needs a Cody who can be active, approachable, and reliable; I will be the foundation for others to build off of in order to strive for success. 


 

I know that I am fit for the position because I have the drive and the knowledge to know what it takes to be BCMD. I have shown countless times throughout the months I have been an officer what a strong leader can and should be. I’ve taken over and motivated the battalion to stay healthy and entertained during the period of which our High Command was on LOA, and I have continued to do so when they returned. I should be the next BCMD of 212th because of what I have done to enhance the overall quality and experience that people have as a member of this battalion; but also because of what I have done to enhance how the community sees my battalion.

Overall

 

I want my term as BCMD to end with the 212th being in an even stronger spot than they are right now. I want everyone in this battalion to understand that they all share an equal voice in pursuing a mutual end goal to promote the success of this battalion. I hope to have achieved BOTM once during my term, as well as continue to push for subunit health and growth in this battalion. By the end of my term I want 212th to communicate thoroughly and develop a proper environment for people to do so. I want to solve motivation and activity issues by providing the battalion with a strong and active Cody and hopefully this alongside summer break will aid me in doing so. 


 

NCO Corps

 

The NCO corps in the battalion is strong, they understand what they need to do in order to progress and move up the ranks and receive a spot in the junior officer corps. I will not be enacting NCO entertainment quotas but I want to continue providing incentives for those who contribute significant numbers (Entertainments, Recruitments, Boarding Trainings) in this battalion. I will do so by continuing a monthly entertainment challenge, and giving out prizes to NCO of the Week; which I will be utilizing during my term. As well as introduce an Officer of the Week to promote a motivated and active officer environment. 

 

Junior Officers

 

The Junior Officer corps is strong, but I still want to enrich them and provide stable responsibilities so that they know how to progress. I want them to understand they are the main contributors to the in-game presence, and continue mentoring new WOs and tutoring those who have the aptitude to push new heights in the battalion. 

 

Senior Officers

 

There is not a major difference between CPT and MAJ, my goal is to establish a clean line between the two while allowing them to do their jobs efficiently. I want both Captains and Majors to focus on backend work, but I want Captain’s to continue that in-game presence. Major’s will be tasked with managing Junior Officer’s as well as supervising the health of sub units and regiments.

 

Commanders 

 

I want my commanders to understand that they are trusted with the position because of their skills and demeanor. While I am the face of this battalion I want complete support from my command team, however, I want them to call me out on things that they believe are wrong. The role of a BCMD is the overarching figure in representation and decision making, but a strong command team keeps the BCMD stable through checks and balances. By the balance of power equalizing between three individuals, it is important to have a strong trio and I will ensure that is what happens during and after my term; I will make sure we all foster the next BCMD so that there is no succession crisis, and I will ensure that the next BCMD has two strong commanders to support them. 

 

Jedi

 

I want to support Gohn is becoming a strong and competent Obi-Wan so that he can lead the future generation of 212th Jedi. I want him to preserve training’s and tryouts for those interested in joining to get more Jedi into the battalion so that we can fill the GC / 2ndAC Jedi rosters. I would love to see more active Jedi rise the ranks, right now we have a decent amount but I would love to get more into our NCO corps. 

 

Subunits / Regiments

 

Right now Ghost Company is in a strong spot and with the current GCC I have no worries about the future health of this subunit. It currently has 3-6 people on daily and I will continue to further this development. I want to work with Gator and his new XO to make sure that they have the tools to accomplish their goals. 

 

2ndAC is way healthier than it was at the start of April thanks to what I have done to promote boarding training, 2ndAC involvement, and overall subunit health. I have contributed significantly to aiding the 2ndACO’s move forward with decisions made as a group, and I have pushed for changes in documentation so that it makes their lives easier. I will continue to do so throughout my term and by the end of the three months 2ndAC will once again be a strong, capable, and active subunit in the 212th. 

 

I will take necessary precautions to fill my REGA spot so that Tyler has a strong partner moving forward. Right now 212th needs SUP and MED troopers to continue flooding into 2ndAC because that is where their intentions lie, it is more appealing to do these things with a jetpack. Which is something I will continue to utilize. Other than that, ARF, ARC, and HVY are strong. I will encourage all officers to receive HVO training so if people want to join that regiment they are able to provide them with the tryout/training.

+1 yeahhh this is going be a good one but both of you are doing an amazing job in the battalion as majors and being back I love the energy you bring to the battalion every single day and I believe you’d be an amazing Commander Cody and pull this battalion more into the future and I’m excited to see what happens next

+1 can both of you share the role?  No forreal, both of you will do fantastic in this position as I’ve expressed to you both, I am excited to be apart of the 212th officer corp and the GCO corp to see these changes unfold.

 

Nexus:  Man you’ve been there for me since day 1 on the server, helping me work towards every goal no matter how far fetched it is and keeping me grounded all at the same time.  That takes a true leader to have those qualities and you fit the bill.

 

Gator: Since joining Ghost Company you and I have formed a strong friendship that I’m thankful for, you trusted me with a GCO spot early in my tenure and gave me a shot a Boil.  Regardless of how this turns out, you’re a damn good leader.

From my experience and continuing my journey with nexus and gator as I would’ve put my BCMD app in also but I wanted to see how either or can manage this battalion as one of the long lasting survivors in the 212th as MAJ I love to give opportunities and see them open up for people who truly deserve it this honestly will be an interview challenge for both candidates either way bc the apps are good and I’m curious to see who gets it and where it’ll put us and how our future with the battalion will grow . Nexus and gators both have a great potential and I’m excited to join whoever on this journey I know working with both of yall will be a success either way until my term decides to come up eventually 😁. But good lucks boys may the best man win.

+1 worked with him for a while has said many plans to help 212th potential. he is very passionate and the dedication to get his ideas done. he is active every day. Make great relationships with everyone officer nco or enlisted rank has no difference in his mind.
