Remove the Reaction limit

Suggestion: Remove the limit on how many reactions you can give a day or increase the limit

 

Why should we implement this? I love reacting to posts and the limit can be kinda annoying. I understand why the limit is there so people aren't spamming but I don't believe the limit is needed to be honest. Or at least increase the limit so people can react more.

 

How will this improve the Forums? It will improve the forums because it will allow people to express themselves more.

Pretty sure this was added because people were boosting each other’s rep to flex their rep on a garry’s mod roleplay server’s forums. Anyway +1

If the reaction limit was to get removed let say, there rules that could be set in place. For example if people are purposely dumbing people constantly to drain their rep it could be seen as targeting and then they receive a forum warning. As long as your not dumb you would be alright, unless your @FatherHanzand are asking to get dumbed

+1 I was about to go make this post, but I found this from a long time ago. If someone is intentionally boosting or lowering rep with someone then they can get a warning like I have gotten

and yes, it was implemented because a few people would spam react to each other’s posts to increase their reputation tremendously. I don’t understand why a limit on everyone was created tbh. Could have just settled with resetting their rep and warning them but everyone got the short end of the stick.

I'd rather put a limit on how many reacts you can give to a specific member. 

That way you can't spam dumb people. I'll look into this.

I have currently increased the reaction limit to 15 total reactions per day. If this proves to be too many or too few, I can look at this again in future.
