Bbstine Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Name: Bbstine Suggestion: Remove the E-Binoculars from the server. Implementation: Removing the E-Binoculars from both the Perma-Weapon Vendors and players. There's a few reasons to why I believe the bino's should be removed. 1. They're useless, the only RP aspect you can use them for is "marking" targets. And if you try to argue that they're used for zooming in and spotting targets from afar not only can the Suit Zoom option in your options menu be utilized and is 2x better. 2. The rules regarding the E-Binoculars are so vague, shooting E-Binoculars for no reason is FailRP however shooting them towards a target is not FailRP, but if you shoot them too much it's FailRP. It's silly and really weird to enforce. 3. Regarding the E-Binoculars in-general they are primarily used to fuck around and look dumb as shit whilst people are using it. Personally as I can only speak for myself I've never seen them used properly and see no use for them. Lore: N/A Workshop content if applicable: N/A (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development") 2 1

Egg Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 (edited) -1 the E-binos are something that I use regularly outside the base on patrols and things. It prevents accidental misclicks and also if needed, pinpoint clarification on enemies and points of interest. You can use the suit zoom along with the binos to get a nice 4x zoom instead of the measly 2. Keep the binos, they are a good addition to the server and help with recon stuff extensively as well. One final reason, is they are free, and not everyone has scoped weapons, so it provides a way for newer players, who may not have the funds to purchase said scoped weapons, to provide useful information to superiors during events and patrols. Edited April 20, 2019 by Egg 1 more reason 2

BigZach Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 -1 I use them for RP reasons and as a practical zoom option. They look good in game and are practical. "I'm not toxic. You're just making it really hard to not treat you like an idiot." - Logic

Peace Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 -1 if you combine the E binos with suit zoom you get 4x zoom. Also there is really no need to remove them 1

GM-3022 Havok Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 -1, the E-binos cost 0 c, deal next to zero damage, and is a good tool for people that don't have a scope weapon and want to see far distances. If you don't like the E-binos you can sell them for the low, low price of 0 c. They are an entirely optional tool that you can buy to suit you. Don't remove them because a tiny percentage of people think they are useless.

It isn't that I don't want them in my inventory, You all can say they provide a nice little zoom but realistically pulling out your DC-15 and scoping is the equivalent of the zoom just without the stupid fucking crosshair on the side. And to our recon boys out there, don't y'all get snipers or some shit?

Bbstine Posted April 21, 2019 Author Posted April 21, 2019 This is Joah's fault, he said we would get a 1 week exclusive and it was going to be the best perma weapon.

OneNiner6719 Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 -1 I use them to 'double zoom', scope in and then suit-zoom, without a weapon, especially on characters that aren't allowed to gun, like my Jedi or WAC-47 1
