Somehow, you missed the entire point of that post. I’ll remind you, I -1 Bana. My post was not because I support him for BCMD. My problem is with Conrad and everybody else here causing drama on a roleplay server. Everybody here pretending to be outraged by this was mad when Bana posted his application in the first place. Don’t pretend this is about the rules. Clearly, those rules were put in place to stop some random from coming and wasting our time with a nothing BCMD application. I’ll also point out that nobody here calling out the rules has ever made a peep the countless other times they’ve been broken. I’d be willing to bet not a single one even knew about these guidelines before this post went up. I think it’s really sad that you guys have nothing better to do than sit here and whine about this. Believe it or not, we don’t always get what we want. I didn’t want Bana as the BCMD, but at least I can accept that he might get it anyways. Go find something actually worth getting angry about. Stop dividing the community and needlessly causing drama over this.

This whole voting process has turned Synergy into a war zone. Factions of people fighting against factions of others. People who would -1 the other app JUST because they want to see the other as BCMD, not based on the merits of the actual application. This is so sad to see. We're all here pretending we're Star Wars characters on an outdated videogame. I promise NONE of it is that deep. You want to know the truth? You're right. We have very little choice in a lot of these matters. So what? As much as I hate legacy picks, it's over. They made it to interview. Truthfully, if we ran solely on majority vote, the server would die in a month. Similarly, if 241st wasn't in such a BAD position on the server, Bana never would have applied. Honestly, Conrad, I don't know what happened. You used to be a chill dude. Now all I see from you are posts that cause more drama. Why would you even make this? Are you, as a former Chancellor, one to talk about favoritism by the server leadership? If you had cared so much for 241st, you never would have left. You rank skipped a LT-MAJ minutes before you left JUST so he could apply. Over your whole term, did you not consider your replacement? Now that you've left, and things MIGHT not go your way after, you think to come here and spark even MORE drama? Who do you think yourself to be? Do you think you're the hero of Synergy by driving a wedge between all of these players? Also, you have NO room to talk about favoritism. I personally have caught and clipped you doing heavy ERP with event jobs on the server. We would have banned a new player for this. You didn't even get a scratch. You're very quick to call out favoritism by leadership when you yourself have gotten away with bannable offenses in the last month. All of Synergy needs to see this for what it is. This is a videogame. There is NO reason we should have this sort of drama so actively pushed by our server legacy members, and there is no reason we should let it change our moods while playing this game. Shame on every esteemed Synergy individual who pressed this drama. Get back to playing the game. If you don't like it, get off.

+1 The idea of map rotations isn't bad, the Venator just sucked ass. It was the most depressing map out there, especially without perma props. Now that we have a stronger server that can handle decorations, a map rotation might be really cool! We just have to do a map that doesn't make everybody want to play ROBLOX roleplay instead.

+1 I think a huge thing that is hindering staff AND game masters is that you're forced to do both. I've always hated this. Plenty of people want to to GM and not staff, and plenty want to do staff but not GM, and MOST of those people avoid it all together. It also leads to lots of burnout and low-tier events because you're forcing staff members to be Game Masters when they don't want to be. It also leads to sub-par staffing because the inverse of those people don't want to do staff work.

What does @Mazen have to add to this conversation?

+1 Without fail, every game master I have ever spoken to has incessantly bitched about g-protect, and it sounds like for good reason. Lots of hard work gets ruined and leads to very quick burnout and frustration from GMs.

The majority of the time other people inside the community in various factions have to conduct the business they are supposed to. While I understand that Rancor generates brilliant roleplay, the could be replaced with event jobs for when they are needed in the situational moments. It would provide a better asset for the Gamemaster Team to use instead of being a dedicated branch. Even Senate are vastly more popular and useful than them. We could potentially remove this faction and either keep it removed or replace it with something more appealing to VIPs providing Sever Leadership with a new opportunity for a new project to excite the community. We could potentially move those duties to the Coruscant Guard with those duties which could assist them in further developing their roleplay and enhancing their role as security and base operations. In the wise words of Barry Bee Benson - ""Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, my grandmother was a simple woman." Rancor is not a simple woman, sometimes simple is wise.
