Alpha class ARC channel is used for ALPHA tryouts.... Rancor training center is (supposed) to be used for battalion training/tryouts. Why are you comparing rancor to other battalions? Other battalions (except shock) don't have to provide a service to other battalions. As for "utilizing the channels better" what happens if there's an event during ARC training while someone's doing tryouts/training? Someone's gonna get fucked in that situation.

It was until they buffed the E-5S. The LD-1 was the only sniper of its class which justified the 4 mil. Now there's 2*. One costs 4 mil, the other 1.5 mil. Easy choice. *idk if there's more than do 250+ dmg.

Yeah but they need that for their own thing. When we were given the ARC training channel Alpha wasn't a thing, that's why I didn't bring them up.

We were given an extra channel as a perk since the battalion has a server-wide obligation to train people and we were having trouble with the limited channels. We needed the following: A: A regular battalion channel for people not participating in the training at all/playing an event. B: A command channel for us to move individual groups to for their evaluations. C: A channel where the entire ARC training party could reside. D: A channel where an NCO could hold tryouts without being disturbed. You may be thinking, "nah they don't need that... What are the chances of all happening at the same time?". Well, with an active rancor, it's VERY likely that all 4 happen at the same time. +1

False. I'm the one that made the suggestion post, I was getting annoyed with watching so many officers give low-quality promotions to people that really deserved them so I made a post about it. The rule was implemented because many others agreed with my opinion. Also -1

If they fuck up or abuse it'd be handled by the staff team. Obviously you guys would control the apps and interview them. By staff drama I mean going to the meetings, hoping for promotion, etc etc.

Yep, it would have to be handled by the staff team. The application system for it would be pretty rigorous and only well regarded community members would be able to get it.

They would need some. Just the ability to build and spawn droids. Difference between staff game masters and the suggestion is that it opens the GM branch up to people who are passionate about wanting to become a game master but don't want to put up with the standard staff drama. Kind of like the TR branch. There are lots of trainers who aren't staff who are doing it just because they want to be a trainer. They don't get a benefit out of it. New admins get promoted by training and taking tickets where they can.
