It's still a VIP job. Nobody that you listed play the role of being slaves excluding Base Ops.

Base Ops' main job should not be being the gate bitches. People spent what, $25 on VIP? Why spend $25 to be a gate bitch? There's a lot more stuff we should focus on. The Jedi don't have anything remotely as monotonous as watching the gate.
