This appeal has now been up for a week and with mostly positive support, will be accepted. @Sparklez - Upon your unban from the forums, you will be given a 60 day probationary period for all actions (including in game & teamspeak). If we have to deal with a situation in which a ban of any kind needs to be placed upon you, you will be permanently banned once again. Along with this, I have set your warning points on the forums to 4. Meaning if you are to be warned by a forum moderator your account will automatically be temporarily suspended. You may appeal these forum points to a Director+ after 60 days. Accepted

The rule of "no warping outside of a warp zone" was set with the punishment of a 1 week ban as per the Founders of the Community as it used outside of the game mechanic intention. Therefore, the staff member in question did not abuse their powers by banning you. However I believe the accidental Year-long length was corrected. I'd say you're lucky that I wasn't online to deal with this situation as if I was and you acted in the way that was outlined by Kortnul your ban would have been WAY longer. Just because there are a small number of players on the server, this does not excuse rule breaking.

I understand that what I did was wrong and I have learned from it. However, I would like to say that my intentions were not to cause drama. I was simply trying to defend myself from accusations and allegations. I see now that how I handled the situation was wrong. I am glad that the situation back then didn't escalate any more than it did and luckily it was contained. Bullies and witch hunters can not be allowed to stay in this community and so I do not regret what I did, but I can say that it will not happen again. In future I plan to handle similar situations professionally through staff. I apologise for any inconveniences caused. I spend my time on the server helping out where I can and trying to be productive. I hope you can all see how being banned only from the forums impedes my ability to do so and I hope you can take my appeal into account. Thank you. Personally I’m a man who believes in giving someone a chance as long as they can learn from their mistakes. From what you have posted you show here that you have realised your mistake, owned up to it, apologised and learnt from it. +1 from me.

I was referring to the post where Mist stated that it's different to DU as they are asking for model additions and this was only changing helmets and changing helmets also count as model additions. Which means that models are required to be edited/made and repacked which wasn't originally stated on the post.

You do realise that to get these changes, you would need the models remade to include the new helmet option, then repacked into our packs for use.. It will also cost money for a modeller to do also.. You understand that, right?

Name: Forseen Rank: Head of Administration Suggestion: Editing some unused weapons to have functionality as event only weapons. Implementation: Change some weapon values. These would be used in events for things such as cannon-fire from a frigate. Lore: Not needed, self explanatory. Workshop content if applicable: Not applicable. This is being put to Pending so it doesn't get forgotten with the new update and has already been discussed with Square/Jackson.

Another issue I've noticed upon thinking more. This will make the job of CG extremely hard, as they will have to be guessing whether or not it's an RDM or not as per the "both parties must agree". Also, if you want to fist fight someone, do a sim? If it's event jobs you want to fist fight, clear it with the Game Master first, if they're cool with it, then who cares? They're the ones dictating the direction of the event. The idea of both parties agreeing is along the same lines as the person telling you when they're about to die so you don't RDM them. Honestly seems like it will create more issues and confusing stipulation than it's worth when there are already alternatives available.

-1 for this. Hear me out here, If you kill someone, then you've killed them. You can RP knock someone out with a /me & /roll, without actually killing them. This creates more of an issue for CG and staff than it will be a fun activity. You are allowed to punch people as much as you want, just don't kill them, not that hard.

One thing I noticed, it has been stated from Cornwell, not only when the incident happened but in this very appeal, that the two individuals involved are close friends having a joke, yet he can't apologies to his "close friend" because he is banned from our TS and Forums?

In all fairness to Nissan, he was the first to reach out to me about the incident that happened and tell me the truth of what happened. He was very respectful and understanding of what had transpired and honestly owned up to it from the day it happened. He then further went on to help create bridges instead of burning them through communicating with me about issues between the two groups! +1

This is one appeal I definitely do not support. My side of things, which can be confirmed by @Carvis & @Enzyme. When Sugga, Valor, Nissan and others left for their new community, so too did Kaynen. However, within their new community Discord Kaynen had been talking about how "crap synergy is" and talking about trying to take down Synergy and discussing about how he was going to be causing Drama for us because he disagreed with certain bans (Sugga, Valor, etc.) and Atomic being denied Rex for being a BCMD equivalent on another server, which is a server rule. I saw this inside their discord, which has since been deleted. After posting this, Kaynen then posted a message on behalf of one of the members that was banned in the 501st announcements channel claiming that what they were banned for was "falsely pinned on them" after agreeing to the user saying it is "Bullshit reasons" in the other community Discord. (Picture below) After all this, you still fail to even admit to what you did being wrong, as you left out the part about shit-talking the community and planning on how to insight drama in another discord. As I was involved in the banning of this user, the decision on this appeal will be left to the Directors @Fizzik & @Mitchell

The reason I was banned was because I went off with some friends to start our own server and we took some ideas from Synergy to incorporate into our server, obviously the server didn’t work out, and I would like to come back to Synergy Roleplay to experience the best parts about Synergy again.
