  1. What about the ones that don't? It has to apply to all battalions on the server
  2. +1, that image from Bbstine severely reduces my trust in Chambers, I don't feel like he has our interests in heart and he makes the decisions for us with out us letting us have a proper discussion (This is not about ARQ but another instance involving Ranks to leave base and so on).
  3. +Support Great Commander, I don't really give an opinion on apps anymore, but what you have been amazing and I hope you get a second term ❤️ You are focused and mature, you get stuff done and don't let personal bias get in the way. Edit for people -1'ing because of ARQ, evaulate him as a whole, please, it's a hot topic right now, give it a tiny bit of time and see what your opinion is.
  4. The bot is hosted on my computer, and I have created an identity for the bot.
  5. That's what I did, it's security level is 26, my own security level is 25 and I can connect
  6. Name: Snow Bug: Music Bot cannot connect to the Team Speak Location of Bug: TS and Bot Log Date/Time Bug Started Occurring: 03DEC18 What is this affecting: The Music bot connecting to the server Severity (1-3): 1 Additional: Relevant error from log: 2018-12-03T02:37:18-06:00 The bot could not connect. This might have several reasons: the server doesn't exist at that address, the server password is wrong, the default channel doesn't exist, the bot has been banned, the server is an illegal installation or the password is wrong , the security level of your identity is too low or the server does not allow the version of the client you are using. See our Wiki / Forums for more help. I have also increased the security level to 26 just in case that was the issue, but regardless it cannot connect.

    PTL Rule Adjustments

+1 for a change, but I think WO is much more reasonable, and with the rule at Captain it's a little weird that WO-1LT have no permissions even though they are all Officers like Captains+ and should be able to be trusted.
  8. +1 although droids cannot deflect bolts, and grievous can only in specific situations due to them not having precognition, also maybe a little too much health. It was fun though.

    Voice Amplifier

-1 unless it is local only. I've had only bad experiences with global interrupting me while I'm talking, and if that happens it's gonna get annoying real quick.

    LOOC Chat Command

+Support LOOC is a great way to explain a situation in character, ie: describing what happened OOC so people can be caught up, it also allows players to stay in character, and not break immersion, yeah /w is okay, but LOOC is the best way to go about this. As a sort of example, you are in a crime scene with a ton of people in the room, a medic could use LOOC to sort people that are just arriving on what it looks like, it makes it much much easier than /w. It's not just about being able to talk about out of character happenings, but keep any OOC stuff out of normal chat, it's a tool that will improve RP on the server through better flow and not having to ask specific people whats going on.

    Ranks Old and New

+1 to WO it would be cool to have WO for specialization leads, plus unicorns are cool. -1 to remove 1SG, while it may be a billet in the Air Force, In the Army (which is what our ranks are based off of) it is an actual rank equal in grade to MSG.
  12. +1 infinitely better than sitting in the lobby unable to talk, plus people can come in and help new CTs out
  13. I don't like it, it's design conflicts with the rest of steam and stands out too much. I like the features, but the design feels like a step back.

    Debrief conundrom

    1. It gets really boring when you have to walk around for an hour on Defcon 5 when nothing is going on, personally, I would ignore this rule, cause it's stupid. 2. Ya know, if I was a BCMD, I sure would like it to be my choice when I can promote. -support
  15. Name: Snow Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:71572288 Date: 6/29/18 Reason for leaving: I feel like I need a break from GMod for a while at the moment, and to make my own time on the server so I don't burn out completely. (I'll definitely re apply in the future) Farewells: I don't really have any other than a thank you to the staff who do the work to keep everything running, and it was nice working with you guys.
  16. Just to be up front about activity, I was on LOA for the past two weeks, but I am now off LOA as of yesterday and being active once again. If you do not feel this it is enough, I understand.
  17. whoops, I forgot, I wrote something and didn't copy it over Edit: It has been added.
  18. Steam Name: [SR] Snow [SA] RP Name: TRO RANCOR ARC Commander Snow Steam ID (SteamID Finder): STEAM_0:0:71572288 Regiment you are applying for: Reconnaissance Experience: 104th Battalion: TR3(PVT) - TR1(SPC) 3 Days This was my first time in any RP server and it was memorable, I had botched training (which I guess fueled my desire to make sure every CC I train knows what they are doing) and didn’t know what was going on. I believe this is important to being a Regimental Commander because I must reflect and learn from my past, improving myself. Coruscant Guard: TR1(SPC) - SGT2 (SSG) 1 Week CG was a great experience as I learned most of my certifications from being in CG, namely Medical and Engineering, which made me get into RP, and since I was Engineer trained I wanted to be an Engineer, and due to the lack of a CG engineer job, I left for 212th. I believe this is important to being a Regimental Commander because Roleplay is very important for such I high ranking role, just as the Chancellor must RP as the Chancellor, I must RP as a Regimental Commander. 212th Attack Battalion: SGT3 (SGT) 3 Days I learned a lot from being a 212th Engineer however brief it was, I actually had a hard time understanding RP when I joined, but while in 212th everything clicked and now I believe I am much better at RP then when I was in CG. This is important to being a Regimental Commander because while RP is good, it must also be RP that makes since. RANCOR Battalion: TR3(PVT) - CMD 4 Months TR3-SGT3: As an ARF trooper I was to follow any NCOs and Officers above me and work to become an ARC Trooper, I believe this is important to becoming Regimental Commander because I had to work to become an ARC trooper rather than just do tryouts for a job. SGT3-SGM: As an ARC trooper I was to apply the skills I learned during ARC training and perform outstandingly in the eyes of the lower ranks. This is important to being a Regimental Commander because I must apply all the skills I learnt to teach others and advise them. SGM-2ndLT: As an ARF Officer I was to manage and maintain the battalion in the absence of an ARF Lead and keep ARF well trained and make sure they are well trained, during this time I worked with Vint to create a recon dupe which is since lost due to a computer change and Vint leaving. I believe this is important for being a Regimental Commander because I learned exactly what Recon was as an ARF Trooper, and if I am a Recon Regimental Commander I must know how to recon. 2ndLT-Major: As ARF Lead for the Battalion I was to ensure every ARF trooper knew what they were getting into as well as Lead ARF in and out of events. ARF Lead was probably my favorite position as I worked with many people coming into and out of the Battalion, I believe this favors me being Regimental Commander because it is where I gained the most experience as overseer of the ARF Section. Commander Havoc: As Havoc I was to contribute and create battalion policy alongside Blitz, as Havoc I would host training and discipline troopers to make sure they are performing at their peak. 327th Star Corps 327th ARC Captain Snow After moving to 327th for a bit, I was asked by Llama and Vex to come back, and I agreed, Joining the 327th taught me I should be dedicated to the success of the Battalion or Regiment no matter what, I think this in integral to me being Regimental Commander, as I must be dedicated to my Regiment. RANCOR Battalion Pt. 2: CMD - BCMD - COL 3 Months Commander Havoc: As Havoc again I made sure everyone become the best they can be and take advice from the more Senior members of the battalion to ensure I was ready for the Battalion Commander role. Battalion Commander Blitz: Create Battalion policy and shape the Commanders and Senior Officers as well as make executive decisions for the battalion. As BCMD I learned what it meant to be a Commander, and took steps to correct myself, I had to resign due to not having enough time and losing access to a computer. Colonel: provide counsel to the current BCMD and provide any advice I have. Republic Medics: CSM 3 Weeks Command Sergeant Major: I hosted tryouts as well as advised the lower NCOs on being NCOs and doing their job. I learned how to RP as a Medic and do my best to help others in RP. As coming back fresh from a 2 month break it took awhile for me to get back into shape into leading. I missed RANCOR and briefly went back as a SGM. RANCOR Battalion Pt. 3: SGM 3 days. I rejoined RANCOR briefly to see what was going on, I saw there were some problems in discipline and I tried my best to correct it as a Sergeant Major, but at the same time I wanted to pursue staff, and RANCOR isn’t exactly the best course of action to maintain staff, and so I left for CG, where my goal was two fold, fulfill something I said to trig back when he was Fox, which was I might rejoin at some point if the drama died down, and to have enough free time to pursue staff. Coruscant Guard pt. 2: 1SG-SGM In my second time I CG, I focused on staff for the most part because in CG I normally stood at a post watching and, this gave me ample time to take tickets and help around, during my time in CG I was promoted to Administrator and became a Game Helper. CG has taught me to be very patient and to make choices in the moment, something I wasn’t very good at before. RANCOR Battalion Pt. 4: SGM - CMD 2 Months I saw the slow collapse of Rancor from the outside and I was very disappointed that I wasn’t there to help it. I came back as an emergency due to all the RANCOR Command being removed, I came in as a SGM, making my way to 1LT then being put back into Commander Havoc, even as a SGM, I was functioning as an Officer, making calls when needed and advising the other officers and soon-to-be officers, this only continued into being Havoc, where I hosted ARC trainings. I feel as though I have successfully helped RANCOR in it’s time of need and rebuilding the foundations that were cracked to the core. Why should you become a Regimental Commander?: My Command style is that of an Overseer rather than a Field Officer making sure all subordinates are performing well and providing counsel when required, I believe that as a Regimental Commander I should be interacting will all battalions below me on a daily basis, and I should help those battalions in need, as a Regimental Commander is an integral part of the GAR Hierarchy serving as the stepping stone from the “Field Officers” to “Staff Officers” but as a Regimental Commander I should be participating with my regiment in events also and working as an integral part of the Chain of Command. I believe that having continuous experience alongside every battalion in the regiment; Rancor, 91st, SO, and 41st (41st less so due to it previously being a Defense battalion separate from 91st, SO, and Rancor) is important because Reconnaissance operate in a fundamentally different way, each one wanting to stay on it’s own, and as a Regimental Commander I will respect that, but understand that I will be needed from time to time to help battalions. I believe my attitude when it comes to helping others, even on a personal level is the most important trait of being a Regimental, as the best Regimental (in my opinion and from observation) are the ones that care deeply for their regiment and want everyone in that regiment to succeed and prosper, rather than go up the ranks. I also believe I have had enough time between resigning from BCMD to gather my thoughts, focus, and apply myself. Actual application of ideas is the most important part of a Regimental Commander, and I believe in conjunction with a Game Master I can create one of the strongest Regiments on the servers (As that should be every Regimental Commanders end goal). To put it simply I want to help people in any way, shape, or form I can. And Regimental is the ultimate expression of helping those below me. Do you understand the lore of your regiment?: 41st Elite Corps: The 41st Elite Corps (Also later known as the 41st Stormtrooper Legion in the empire era) is a support/attack focused Legion that is proficient in terrain on hostile worlds, present at the Defense of Kashyyyk and the battle of Dinlo. 41st has had multiple divisions sorted under them, namely Green Company and the A & B Sarlacc Battalions. 41st is led by Senior Commander Gree and Jedi Generals Yoda & Luminara Unduli. 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps: The 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps is a motorized Recon group focused on gathering information on foreign terrain and quick rapid strikes on enemy positions. Neyo Commanded the 91st alongside Stass Allie and Mace Windu. Neyo pioneered the use of speeder tactics alongside Bacara, with those who rode them being Biker Advanced Recon Commandos (BARC). Lightning Squadron was the sub unit of the 91st, comprised of 10 ARF troopers and commanded by Ponds before his death. Rancor Battalion: Rancor is a battalion primarily focused on training new troopers and comprised of ARC and ARF Troopers, they were present at the battle of kamino while training new troopers, the primary Commander is Colt, who works alongside Havoc and Blitz. Special Operations: Special Operations is a specialized unit focused on stealth and using special tactics, they were present alongside Anakin and Yularen while making a blockade run through Trenches fleet at the battle of Christophsis and with Ki Adi Mundi in the second battle of geonosis. Special Ops is lead by Commander Blackout at the battle of Christophsis and Commander Jet during the second battle of geonosis. Availability: Sunday (1:00PM - 12:00PM) Monday-Thursday (4:30PM - 12:00PM) Friday (4:00PM - 2:00AM) Saturday (1:00PM - 2:00AM) (I sleep in really late usually due to me staying up so long) Give a brief overview of your achievements on the server: Advanced Recon Force Lead for the Rancor Battalion x2 Commander Trauma for Trauma’s Unit Battalion Commander Blitz of the Rancor Battalion Heading Advanced Recon Commando Training Senior Administrator Trainer Officer Commander Havoc x2 I have ~1800 Hours on the Server alone over almost 11 Months Do you have a microphone?: Yes I do Where do you want your regiment to be at the end of your term?: I want each Battalion below me to be populated at peak times and off hours, I also want to help any Battalions lacking in numbers and help them maintain those numbers, as I believe the primary problem is lack of tryouts and lack of retention for new recruits. I also want to formalize a regimental reconnaissance guidebook. How do you plan to improve relations within your regiment?: I want each regiment to be familiar with each other, not through simulations (Although these will be done, along with a personal report), but through Joint-Ops I will be hoping to collaborate with a Game Master to bring this to reality, as Combat creates the strongest bonds. Joint-Ops may include straight Recon missions before bring in more battalions, such as bringing 91st and 41st to a Jungle Planet to recon and gather information before passing it off to an Attack Battalion or Specialized Battalion to use that information to engage the enemy force. I believe Joint-Ops such as this allows a battalion to fulfill their function and specialization. I believe a Joint-Op is a superior option to simulations due to simulations being limited in scope. I want the battalions to treat each other as brothers in arms, rather than wholly separate divisions, where no one tries to sort out their differences. Battalions should be friendly with each other at the end of the day, and not being friendly decreases their effectiveness as a regiment. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: I understand, but if I believe I am inactive and won’t be able to get on, I will resign myself Do you understand that your position has a two month term limit and you must reapply after two months to maintain your regimental commander rank?: Yes, I understand if I am accepted for the position I must either apply again or apply for Senior Commander and if I do not after two months in my term I will be removed.
  19. Unfortunately it seems to be a problem with the map, not with what content you have or do not have.
  20. Type mat_specular 0 before joining the server, I had this problem on my old laptop
