Name: Snow RP Rank: Commander Suggestion: Add more ARF whitelists with Specializations to Rancor. Rancor is more than just ARC troopers and we need jobs to be able to reflect that and allow more troopers to use whitelists without being ARC trained. The jobs I want to add are Medics and Heavys, and change the HVO trooper to be an ARF trooper in line with what is seen in the clone wars show. The jobs could use new models which would be preferable, especially for the medic to differentiate it from other troopers. We are currently at 18/20 whitelists so these changes should line up well with other battalions. Implementation: Add ARF Medic & Create the relevant model Add ARF Heavy whitelist & Create the relevant model Change Heavy Ordinance to an ARF Heavy Ordnance Trooper & Create the relevant model. Lore: Rancor was a battalion composed of ARF Troopers and ARC Troopers, ARC Commander Blitz led a team of ARF troopers with Rocket launchers during the Battle of Kamino. Workshop content if applicable: Requires Development (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development") If you are asking to add or change a job, fill out the following if not, leave it out. Add or Change: (Any job modification requires all this information) Add: Job: ARF Medic Slots: N/A Description: ARF Troopers were part of the Rancor Battalion Model: Requires Development Weapons: weapon_bactakit rw_sw_dc15s rw_sw_dc15a Add: Job: ARF Heavy Trooper Slots: N/A Description: ARF Troopers were part of the Rancor Battalion Model: Requires Development Weapons: rw_sw_z6 rw_sw_dc15s rw_sw_dc15a Change Rancor Heavy Ordinance Trooper to: Job: Rancor ARF Heavy Ordinance Trooper Slots: N/A Description: ARF Troopers were part of the Rancor Battalion Model: Requires Development Weapons: rw_sw_rps6 rw_sw_dc15s rw_sw_dc15a

+1 The server needs some real balance and incentive for joining specializations and battalions rather than "CT with X"

+1 why not, I don't agree with requiring the removal of something, since battalions should be able to be ran they want to rather than being constrained by arbitrary restrictions
-
-1 At the beginning of a BCMDs term is absolutely not the time to do this, it's disrespectful to the work of the BCMD and Officers who are currently working their hardest, the best course of action would have been to wait until their term is over, or at the very minimum talk to the BCMD in charge.

In the post there is a picture of the lore ranks that includes 2ndLT
-
+1 we used to have it as Lieutenant way back in the day when we had proper lore ranks, I don't see the issue with changing it
-
+1 being able to actually do ATC would be really, really cool, rather than being text based where you can only be so descriptive. I think this would be great for enhancing Pilot RP and as a plus overcomes the main hurdle of ATC, which is text limits and time to type
-
+1 why not add this to all Tech/Engineer jobs to enhance the class a little and give them a unique weapon? Also maybe nerf it a bit.

+1 Doesn't even make sense for clones to get in trouble in character if we are going by legends, since it's part of a series of contingency orders that every clone knows from flash training. Specifically Order 66 is a contingency order to remove the Jedi from power in the attempt of a coup, In lore they don't get in deep shit because they know of Order 66, since every clone knows what the order is, they get in shit because they know how the chancellor plans to use the contingency order. It's never made sense to be a rule even from a lore standpoint, and it's always been super stupid that you can be punished because of saying something so simple in ooc, even if it is part of a legitimate conversation. And to anyone who would argue about it in character, the authorization for the order can only come from the chancellor.
-
-1 extremely hard to enforce, and from a realism point, doesn't really make sense unless you commit to also taking them out of a fight to a medbay or field hospital, which would be cool, but people would hate it because they get pulled out the action and prevented from doing their job by some random medic they don't know. (Dang, it was voided, I was typing what I wanted to say for a while, xd)

C3PO does not have a silver leg in Episode 3 He also does not have a silver leg in Clone Wars He got his silver leg in between Episode 3 and 4

Peer pressuring won't work, the way you should be keeping troopers disciplined is by regularly talking to them and developing them, rather than threatening them with a demotion. Imagine if they make a mistake, but you think it was intentional and you publicly demote them, how do you think they will react? They will likely either leave or hate you for it, it's just going to create unnecessary drama that wouldn't be created if you just talked to them to help them learn or performed the demotion in private.
-
-1 This is basically allowing officers to disrespect, demotions should be handled privately, and if a demotion occurs, the person should be talked to about it instead of just going, hey you are demoted. This is very bad, and put troopers on the spot when they shouldn't. It's destructive to the progress of troopers to do this. It's not about snowflakes, but simply not embarrassing people, it's tough love, but the wrong kind of tough love. Edit: Also, as an Officer, you should care about positively developing your Troopers through talking with them and helping them learn, not throw them into a trial by fire, which will either burn them out or cause them to hate you. You might think it might help people not mess up or whatever, but it won't, the person who messes up usually does it by accident, or through negligence, and if they need to be demoted because of it then it shouldn't be public because they will hate you for it if it were public, I see no good coming from this, it will only create more drama.

-1 When I'm doing drills out in the courtyard I do it on a pad because it's a nice small sectioned off area in the courtyard. And if a ship needs that pad, just request for them to vacate the pads, and AOS them if they don't, EZ fix. And I don't think there is a precedent in clone wars to not stand on a pad that's not in use, correct me if I'm wrong.

What about the ones that don't? It has to apply to all battalions on the server
-
+1, that image from Bbstine severely reduces my trust in Chambers, I don't feel like he has our interests in heart and he makes the decisions for us with out us letting us have a proper discussion (This is not about ARQ but another instance involving Ranks to leave base and so on).

The bot is hosted on my computer, and I have created an identity for the bot.
-
That's what I did, it's security level is 26, my own security level is 25 and I can connect
-
Name: Snow Bug: Music Bot cannot connect to the Team Speak Location of Bug: TS and Bot Log Date/Time Bug Started Occurring: 03DEC18 What is this affecting: The Music bot connecting to the server Severity (1-3): 1 Additional: Relevant error from log: 2018-12-03T02:37:18-06:00 The bot could not connect. This might have several reasons: the server doesn't exist at that address, the server password is wrong, the default channel doesn't exist, the bot has been banned, the server is an illegal installation or the password is wrong , the security level of your identity is too low or the server does not allow the version of the client you are using. See our Wiki / Forums for more help. I have also increased the security level to 26 just in case that was the issue, but regardless it cannot connect.

+1 for a change, but I think WO is much more reasonable, and with the rule at Captain it's a little weird that WO-1LT have no permissions even though they are all Officers like Captains+ and should be able to be trusted.
-
-1 unless it is local only. I've had only bad experiences with global interrupting me while I'm talking, and if that happens it's gonna get annoying real quick.

+Support LOOC is a great way to explain a situation in character, ie: describing what happened OOC so people can be caught up, it also allows players to stay in character, and not break immersion, yeah /w is okay, but LOOC is the best way to go about this. As a sort of example, you are in a crime scene with a ton of people in the room, a medic could use LOOC to sort people that are just arriving on what it looks like, it makes it much much easier than /w. It's not just about being able to talk about out of character happenings, but keep any OOC stuff out of normal chat, it's a tool that will improve RP on the server through better flow and not having to ask specific people whats going on.

+1 to WO it would be cool to have WO for specialization leads, plus unicorns are cool. -1 to remove 1SG, while it may be a billet in the Air Force, In the Army (which is what our ranks are based off of) it is an actual rank equal in grade to MSG.
-
+1 infinitely better than sitting in the lobby unable to talk, plus people can come in and help new CTs out
