  1. 10/10 very fun and very well put together
  2. Berry here, wasnt present for much of the event solid 7/10
  3. I was working on this for the past couple days. But it would appear we're being given the boot. Read if you want boys. Its been a hell of a ride. Steam Name: BlackBerry RP Name: Darth Tenexis the Gluttony Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:234472636 Experience: Sith Dark Council (Hopeful - Dark Council) When I first joined the Sith Order I quickly passed the acolyte trial and then, during my apprentice trial, I was personally complimented by Chrome for my roleplay. While I was an apprentice I concentrated heavily on roleplay forging relationships within the order and finding my place. I then began to make documents for the order when I was promoted to Inquisitor Officer. I made documents that created guidelines for the tryouts for the branch itself and provided information about it . As a lord, I was promoted by Gluttony to head officer of the Sorcery branch. I then made the tryout document for ancient arts and began to oversee the sorcery branch as a whole. I played a large part in the creation and implementation of the horticulturist document. I assisted in the creation of the artifact and ritual documents. All three of these documents are used to this day. I helped revive the Inquisitorial sub branch and bring order to the jumbled mess of sorcerer apprentices. When I was promoted the Dark Lord's Gluttony, I took full control of the sorcery branch. This was a hectic period as the Gluttony position had changed people 3 times in rapid succession. As the Gluttony I maintained and forged new roleplay relationships involved both Sith and Jedi. This included initiation of events and encounters, as well as the implementation of roleplay artifacts. During this time, I helped other sorcerers make documents and worked to improve the branch. I began to become busy with real life obstacles and activities. When I could attend Dark Council meetings, I worked with the other members to implement systems and promote lords to help with the transition of systems under the new Dark Lord. I gained the reputation of Darth, which is bestowed upon those who put in work, advancing in the reputation system (which I did shortly before it was removed), and doing good roleplay. I was told personally by Chrome that I was in consideration for the Wrath position, which I could not accept due to activity issues. Currently, I have been working with my Head Officer and sub-branch officers to make sorcerer branch the best it can be and with the dark council to ensure strength and stability within the sith. Why should you become Dark Lord?: I should become Dark Lord as I put lots of work to creating and maintaining documents. I put in actual work to benefit the sith, sorcery branch, and dark council. As the Dark Lord I would work on reimplementing the reputation which would bring in an influx of activity. It would do this by bringing in more reasons to be active and more reasons to roleplay. I would do this by preforming major tweaking to the way it works. I would then focus on wiping the lord roster of all the inactive people. This would create more opportunities for this to advance to higher positions. I would begin to implement a ROE for the sith to follow when interacting with clones to help reduce confusion and fail RP. I would then start to remove/demote those who are not fight for leadership within the sith (AKA, Powerplayers, Abusers, and people simply not fit). I would also begin to implement better rules for some of the issues with the "spaceport". Another problem is raids within the sith and jedi temples and help to create more defined rule (ofcourse cooperating with people from the Republic and Jedi order). Promoting more serious roleplay would also be a very massive help to creating more interesting and fun experiences. I would also focus on some of the problems regarding the "civillian clothing". I also feel that working to establish a reason for the sith to truly have the sith exsist in the server's "timeline" so that the sith have a more immersive reason to be there. for the emperor
  4. 9/10 The variety between situations we were forced into was a nice change of pace from the usual merging of battalions to do one job. The GMACT specific portion and the tech RP (my favorite RP btw) contrasted with the shoot em' ups rooms. It helped bring out our teamwork that makes the specialized battalions shine. When we got to the tunnel and the battalions just pushed and pushed and pushed, yes it was just shooting and dying, but it felt like something from a movie. We slowly inched forward, clearing droids left and right, until we eventually reached the end and broke through the tunnel to the sunlight. It instilled in all of us a feeling accomplishment and satisfaction that added to the event. Amazing, I loved it. The only problem was some lack of speaking roleplay, Although I thoroughly enjoyed everything else.
  5. -1 And here's why: A) Lore. Of course there is no in-cannon lore for these sith, but they've made the lore from the time of implementation. This is a group of dark-side force users that model themselves off of the old republic era sith empire. If your argument is that everything has to be strict with the lore of the cannon then there would have to be alot of changes. This argument is like saying "The GM's events weren't shown in the show, they should be removed because they're non-cannon" Around half of the SOBDE squads are either dead at this point or are non-cannon. This server is basically an alternate timeline, we have server specific lore that exists. This is roleplay on a server wide level of using available lore and common sense that more than 2 force sensitives that used the dark side existed. And in the words of Joah, "if you don't want to roleplay then this server isn't for you." (or something like that) B) Improvement. You say, But things have changed majorly. We have more sith in the order and there is a report form you can submit if you have problems with individual sith. Roleplay has been encouraged more than ever. Rules have been changed to minimize the mindless killing of jedi and clones without RP. And these rules have been enforced when we are notified. Chrome has made tons of improvement in the field of mindless slaughter. Clones complained that they were getting slaughtered without RP before and now you complain that the sith have too friendly. C) Immersion. You say that your immersion is ruined because the sith exist. That everyone has to "break their RP mindset" due to the existence of these sith, but they really don't. Sith have allied with clones at some points in time through the means of RP; using leverage, speech, and maybe even a little bit of mind tricks. Every action and interaction between the sith empire and clone battalions has been built off the cannon lore to make server side lore. The lore of the server differentiates us from the other servers. We are unique. We are an alternate timeline and this server has many contradictions with the TV show and cannon universe. D) Out Of Character Issues. You say people complain in OOC about deaths while playing an enemy faction. You can report annoying sith with the report submission form. Some people try to RP and make a mistake and just get shot or detained, of course they'll complain although they shouldn't. People have emotions, they are allowed to have their opinions, tell them to take it to PM's. A lot of people have paid for VIP just for sith and to take it away from them would be unfair to their purchases. It costs 25 USD and alot of people have spent this for sith only. E) Roleplay Between Events. Sith create RP between events, you say they are good for this and acknowledge the roleplay that is, in fact, brought in by the sith between events. You blame Game Masters for the down time between events and the fact that the sith exist only to fill this time. So what if the sith only exist to fill in between the events, it's still creating roleplay and engaging the players of the server. By have great swaths of down time between events, people can easily get bored. Medical RP and Engineering RP get boring after a while. And you can't blame the GMs because you can't have encounters and events every single second of every day. Without Sith, there are no true enemies for the jedi, and with the great numbers in the jedi order, having a constant enemy like the sith is needed. The CIS can only be used in events and encounters. Without Sith, less roleplay is encouraged. Sith have created a plethora of roleplay scenarios for people to take part in. F) RoE. I'm paraphrasing here, based off memory. But, if a civilian is hostile, you can engage. If they are too close to an outpost or base, you can engage or attempt to detain. If the civilian reveals they are a sith, you can attempt to engage or detain. These make perfect sense. If clones are being too friendly with sith it is because roleplay is occuring. If needed, of course they can attack the sith (or civilian) if needed, but roleplay is encouraged constantly by the existence of the sith. To remove sith due to "lore" or "immersion" breaking then multiple other factions / battalions / individuals would have to be removed for the same reason. To have this absurd double standard just because sith kill clones or you don't like them is just that, absurd. Use your imagination, and enjoy it. Your immersion is only broken because you fail to think outside the small window of the entire Star Wars universe we are shown by the show. The fact that other dark side users exist and call themselves sith isn't too far fetched when you think about how many individuals would exist throughout the entire star wars galaxy. EDIT - We just recently filled our dark council and branch leadership under a more consistently active dark lord. We are improving our roleplay and interactions exponentially every week. With each council meeting improvements are made. With our newly filled council and lords we can effectively continue in consistently improving our order to move forward stronger.
  6. 10/10 RP? YES! FIGHTING? YES! WAS I AFK FOR THE CONQUEST? YES! DID I COME BACK IN THE END? YES! GOT 'CRONS? YES! KILLED JEDI? YES! is bcns cool? yea he's alright. The event was actually cool though. The RP was very nice. GM handled stuff great. Everything was set up perfectly. 1 problem? Jedi being very sith like
  7. +1 Chrome, my man. When I was a wee hopeful my first experience as a sith was you calling me into your office and telling me if I passed the acolyte and apprentice trials you would make me your apprentice. You made it feel like sith payed attention to what people did. Like an empire should. Every role play situation I've seen you in has been mind blowing. Immersive and like a true sith. Not trying to kiss butt or anything, but it felt like what a sith lord would do. I've seen nothing but positives, although I haven't seen document work, that is not required. You have shown the ability to manage as officer and excessive ability to roleplay. Great Candidate Excited to see where the story goes. (I won't betray ya too much more )
  8. Droids and sith are very different. To compare the two would be incredibly ingnorant. The sith are actual living people. Droids are robots. Can you not see the difference there?
  9. +1 -- As Joah has said many times in the past, if you don't want to roleplay, this server is not the place for you. I am paraphrasing a bit but the message is encapsulated. The order given to kill Sith on sight is an obstruction of roleplay potential not only for sith but for clones and jedi as well. As shown by sith (like chrome), there is roleplay potential there and when the sith are slaughtered for "looking like sith" it slaughters the opportunity for roleplay as well. The clones wouldn't be shooting civilians for no reason and to shoot a civilian for trespassing doesn't make sense either. Detaining should be the way to go even for those who look like sith because the jedi and republic in lore tried many times to capture sith. Of course you can shoot sith, but making them kill on sight, as said, removes opportunity for roleplay. Killing on sight should be reserved for some. It makes sense for jedi shadows to kill on sight as it is their mission, but for a padawan to fight a sith lord would not make much sense (fear rp and all). And for a clone to just shoot a sith for looking like one wouldn't make much RP sense because the people of the galaxy are incredibly diverse and wearing the color red shouldn't decide if someone should be immediately killed. The merciless and often exception-less killing between sith and the republic is fun for few and leads to complaints. When the clones die to sith because they opened fire, people are unhappy and when the sith are just randomly shot at while jumping is a little silly. Grey Jedi exist. Force sensitives exist. To shoot one on sight for exhibiting force powers that aren't dark side related is meta gaming. The whole ordeal is a hectic and has proved to cause problems -A blaster burn covered sith and a saber scorched clone
  10. The lore of the clone wars era sith order is that a group of force sensitives were loyal to the old republic sith's ideals. It is not unbelievably far-fetched in the star wars universe that a group of force sensitives didn't fit into the philosophy of the jedi and couldn't join the rule of 2 so that they studied and recreated the old republic era sith empire
  11. Forgot to add.. Half the time when I try to RP, I get the cold shoulder. "Stand Back" "Get Out of Here" etc. Clones should try to RP more. Jedi should also try to RP more. The jedi order is supposed to actually talk to people instead of resorting instantly to violence. The clones should get an order from a higher up before opening fire. There is RP to be had but you have to reciprocate. Both Sith and Clones have had their bad moments. Both sides can lack RP, but both sides should work on it too. You have to try at the very least. Even if you aren't creative or can't RP you have to atleast try to RP
  12. -1 Although a large sum of people in the sith will go out and attack outposts and such, it adds RP and allows for people to do encounters. The hostility should definitely be dialed back. There is passive RP potential there, as proven by Chrome, and if a rule was set in place (and enforced more because I believe there already is one) that prevented sith from just willy-nilly attacking I think people wouldn't complain as much. The lore is actually not that bad. The force flows through all living things and the idea that there were force sensitives / force users who founded an order off of an ancient sith ideal is not too far-fetched. Sure the rule of two existed, but the sith order as it stands on the server is a faction of sith who saw this and decided not to follow it. There were events where the order came into conflict with a rule of two clan and such. TL;DR if sith don't run around as saber happy as they are, I think the RP could increase. The rule of only attacking when attacked should be enforced more. -A Dedicated Sith
  13. 4/10 Just woke up, nice event. Got to do ENG RP which was fun and neglected.
  14. -1 Dont remove my knife and also dont take my ebinos
  15. 10/10 Very nice and cool. Lived the roleplay and the premise. Inclusion of the flood a mysterious virus was very interesting and made the calm and smooth talking kidnapper seem more deranged and bat shit than he was which was an amazing dynamic. Amazing job!
  16. BlackBerry

  19. 8/10 no solid story very sad. I only play for the intense rp plot
