  1. I'd like to ask a question, with some context. When Crimson was Palpy and I was Guild Lead, we had a very relaxed relationship. We'd casually chat about how bounty hunter was doing every once in a while, and he also kept a good grasp on what went on because he actively played on his BH, so I didn't need to fully fill him in. There wasn't defined characteristics of how our relationship was supposed to look, especially since Bounty Hunter was changing so much it was hard to set something in stone. So, that leads me to my question: If you're chosen as the next Palpatine, How do you plan on getting involved with the Guild, if you plan to? I believe that the next Palpatine's relationship with the Guild will set the standard for people to come, along with the vacany of the Guild Leader position, so I'm just curious.

  3. Battalion: Bounty Hunter RP Name: Vas Rau Date: 3/5/21 Reason: My in-game activity has fallen off immensely, the past two weeks I believe I'm under 15 hours. There's many reasons for this, but they probably just sound like excuses. I've remained active on the back-end of BH, but that's not enough to retain the position. I originally took this position in order to steer BH in the direction I thought would have the most success. Five months later, here we are. I've made some mistakes along the way, but also developed some cool stuff for the Guild. It's finally time to hand the Guild over to the next person, and see where they take it. Goodbyes: Not going anywhere, just going to remain at low in-game activity unti summer, then i'll be playing more. Until then i'll just be lurking in discord and the forums, popping up in game a couple times a week. Apologies for letting my activity get so low before resigning
  4. 395 and I joined like 8 hours after launch, Fizzik bullies me for not having double digit

    7/10. I enjoyed it
  6. This would be really cool if it works out. +1
  7. While I do think your intentions are pure going for this role in your attempt to help out the Senate, I have to -1. During the situation with the Racism ban, you handled it very well. But it still happened, and quite recently at that. My personal impression from this interaction is that you are learning from previous mistakes and avoiding negative behavior, but you're not all the way there yet. I don't believe that you're a good choice for Mas Amedda as of right now, nor will you be able to set the kind of example as the Leader of the Senate that the group needs.
  8. Steam Name: Sinister RP Name: Guild Leader Vas Rau Steam ID (SteamID Finder): STEAM_0:1:67611701 Battalion or squad you are applying for: Bounty Hunter How many terms you've held the position?: 1 Why do you wish to maintain this position?: To be blunt, I'm not done yet. My purpose in holding the Guild Lead position is to ensure the Guild is set up with everything it needs to be self-sustaining in the future and not rely on the work of 1-3 people as it has in the past. I want to improve the playerbase's viewpoint of the Bounty Hunter faction, and ensure that it stays that way. Over my term I've come close to this, but there is more to be done. Current availability: My in-game activity has been low lately. I've only been able to get on for about 2-3 hours, 4-5 days a week. I'm in the process of applying/interviewing for jobs, while still working 40 hours a week. That will improve to open up more in the next 1-2 weeks. I have remained quite active on the back end, though that is not visible to the public. I'm always available via discord, and I chat with my Leadership about developments via Discord daily when I'm not able to be online. I'm also in the process of saving for a PC so I get more than 6 FPS in game. What have you achieved within your battalion/squad during your past term?: For an overall summary, I'd say I've made progress towards stabilizing the Guild's future. October - Major roster revisions and organizational rework, Release of Guild Intelligence (Eventually removed), Release of Clan Contracting, Release of Senate Operations in conjunction with Owen (Eventually removed), Release of Most Wanted in conjunction with Naval, CG, and the Directors, Removed document and discord access from previous guild leadership that hadn't been removed since the beginning of the faction, major discord overhaul, major rule revision, release of new Guild Informant tryouts (reworked later to cloak certification test). November - Leadership restructure with Luietenant and Evaluator, attempted to boost clan numbers by reviewing clan policies and offering discounts on creation then generated roleplay through bounties and events with the clans, advocated for Assassin Droids to have the ability to detect cloakers, updated whitelist prices according to current economy/achievable values, Rework of Freelancer - mostly ratio's doing, revised rules/ROE for CIS release, Discord rework v2, Complete document overhaul with major work done by Satan/Dakar December/January - More rule updates/revisions, Removal of Guild Intelligence (Failed), Added renown paychecks to guild leadership evaluators and clan leaders, recruited more evaluators and adjusted evaluator policies, started a contest to build the new village for the map change, began Marshal program (still in setup stage), opened Lieutenant Applications My purpose in this long list is not to show everything I've accomplished. It's to show everything I failed on. Throughout my term and even before I became Guild Lead, I continually changed things. I ran with a trial and error mindset, implementing everything I thought may work, and just removing it later on if it didn't. I'll speak about why that's been effective for me in the next section. What improvements or changes do you plan on making within your battalion/squad?: My entire goal and purpose of being Guild Leader at this time is to set up the Guild on the back end to have a stable future. I want to finish what I started, train some people up to understand how the new Guild operates, and hand it off to someone else. At this time, I don't believe anyone that is ready is also willing to take on the responsibility. For someone else to continue my work at this stage would be a large workload to take on, and for someone that's not involved in the process already, it would be difficult. There are a few more policies I want to get worked out that I can speak on if questioned, but I'm attempting to keep this application from being too long. The basis of this trial and error mentality I utilized is that when different policies went active, it also in turn affected the daily actions of every Bounty Hunter. I released different policies and announcements at different times, then observed how the active playerbase reacted, and adapted it accordingly. There's still a few policies I'm watching, as well as one that's brand new that will need to be adjusted. I want the Guild to be at a state that a Bounty Hunter's presence is enjoyable by everyone on the server, and the "fun" isn't one-sided. As well as providing safeguards that can turn that negative experience into a roleplay encounter to solve it, without causing bigger issues. To summarize, I want to ensure the stability of future Guild Leaders, and finish what I have been working on to hand off the Guild to the next round of Guild Leadership, and take a step back. My term ends at a poor time, I would likely be on LOA and return shortly if it wasn't ending now, but we are where we are. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes
  9. I'd prefer Intel, but I'm not familiar with differences between GPU's besides that Nvidia has Shadowplay, if I'm not wrong. I'd prefer Nvidia if that's true Appreciate it!
  10. Goal is around $1500 usd, but I can go up to $2k usd
  11. Any advice for starting a PC build? I have an idea of a budget, but know very little about PC’s

    Add ComLink

I checked. The radio plugin we used for voice and text chat on the Military server is no longer supported by the original creator. Updates/Support no longer function, and comments on the Gmod Store Addon page show that it is no longer working properly, so that's not an option. +1 to the idea if able to be created. Would be nice.
  13. I see a few different viewpoints on this, as someone who has been here for a long time, and owns all of the OP weapons. First Viewpoint: Getting killed by 1 shot is not fun. When I'm involved in hostile situations as a BH or during CIS missions, NT users have the power to end it immeadiately, and they have in the past. I've had to change strategies completely in order to avoid a single clone just because they have a gun that can 1 shot, which means they'll wipe out everyone I brought to attack with me. Second Viewpoint: I, and others, paid quite a bit of money and saved up for a long time in order to spawn with strong weapons. I was finally able to purchase the NT after the most recent update (245 dmg /me is sad). I saved up and purchase this weapon because it is a one shot kill. If the damage is changed, it's no longer what I purchased, and no longer worth the money. Same thing with the Mandalorian Sniper. 150 dmg/shot is not worth $100 without the 5th shot boost. It's not like CT PVT Billy played the server for three hours, then bought an NT and RDM'd you. Overall: Honestly, it would've been better if one-shot weapons were never a thing. But they are. To me, it's not big enough of an annoyance to nerf the weapons. Yes, it can be frustrating at times, but mainly when people with these 1 shot weapons decide to be an asshole. These high damage weapons should not be the only gun you use. I have a bigger issue with people who use nothing but an RC shotgun. I think that's more of an important nerf than NT/Mando Sniper, but I digress. -1
  14. I don't know why, but it's back to normal now. This can be voided
  15. Bug Type (Server:): Clone Wars Severity level (1-3): 1 Evidence (if you can): Description of the bug: I have a solid white crystal equipped, and it shows me having a dark inner white crystal How can we recreate it: Equip a basic white crystal ( "pure white")
  16. +1 that would be cool, as long as the damage remains the same (150 per shot and the boost every 5th)
  17. +1 to increase If someone were to hit 30k on the wheel every day, it would take 34 days to hit 1 mil
  18. +1 no downside to helping everyone be able to participate
  19. Gotta start grinding out those decapitations now. I want to see bigger numbers
  20. Don't put me in the giveaway because I have good heaphones already, I just wanted to say it's very generous of you to do this
  21. Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:67611701 RP Name: Vas Rau Battalion: Bounty Hunter Who is in command until you return?: Hades and Ratio Length of Absence: Monday the 21st until Wednesday the 23rd. I'll still be around, just a mental break to recharge. I won't be dealing with any administrative duties over those three days for BH. My lieutenants are responsible for the Guild.
