Battalion: Specialized Regiment RP Name: Regimental Commander Sinister Date: 11/26/2018 Reason: I gave High Command a try because I was asked to, and it seemed like something I might enjoy. It was fun for a while, but became extremely boring. My regiment is in a good place now, so I'm not really needed, and I want to be able to play the server without having the restrictions that being in High Command has. I might go for Regimental in the future, but for now I'm done. Goodbyes: I'm not leaving, just resigning this position, so I'll just give some advice to the Specialized BCMD's. Shakes - You're doing a great job leading ST, and have a strong group of officers to help you. Just keep it up. Squee - Your plans for the battalion are strong, and I'm confident you can lead the battalion in an amazing way. Build up your senior officer corps so that you have some backup, and aren't doing all the work. Also, make sure you are looking for quality recruits that will stay with the battalion, not just gaining numbers as quick as possible. Scarecrow - 104th is a stable battalion overall. Work on the tank training, and like the DU, making sure you have stable backup in the senior officer corps. I am impressed with the changes you've made in your first day, so I'm sure you can handle the rest of your term.

High Staff PTS Square: Some of you guys are doing encounters well, but make sure you're not replacing events with encounters. You're doing a good job overall. Chambers: I've kinda re-written the encounter rules, they're updated in the encounter channels (in teamspeak) right now. Go ahead and look at it and read them. The encounter system is run by VIP not staff, make sure you're just supervising. They can be passiverp and shoot 'em up, it's not limited to one. You are able to do two encounters at once, but make sure that they're different themes (don't do CIS and CIS, do a CIS and a Mando at the same time for example). 91st is also doing their ARQ right now, which will be described in more detail later. Eventually (not yet) it will be only ARC/ARF, 41st/91st, and High Command for ATRT/BARC Speeders. To gt an ARF job you will have to pass ARQ. For battalions that do not have ARC or ARF, you will have to get trained separately and speak to 91st/41st about that. More information will be available via Rancor and 91st High Command when the system is finished and in place Sinister: When spawning the B2 NPC you need to give them a weapon other than the B2 Wrist Blaster. The wrist blasters drop onto the ground when they die, and is causing a lot more lag on this map than the venator. Also, don't be using noclip/teleportation commands just to get around the map. Only use them for staff related things. Andrews: Please make sure you are doing the best that you can. This map allows us to do a lot of things and changes are always happening. So make sure to stay up to date with the changes. Read cw-announcements (in staff discord) as a lot has been said this week. Heart: encounters are, essentially, VIPs who have an idea and they want to live it up. Gamehelpers are there to shadow and give the ‘go ahead’ to any questions that the VIPs have. The only jobs allowed are the encounter jobs that Chambers allows. Aside from those basic aspects, there is no special restrictions that they have. Encounter jobs can go inside the base, encounter jobs can be passive or shoot ‘em up-ee, and encounter jobs can be friendly or hostile. Any sort of questions, ask GMOs and if we don’t know, we’ll ask Chambers. Any other hearsay should be disregarded unless you are positive that they know the rules. Besides that, I’m glad that people are doing encounters, keeping people happy, but remember that Encounters are NOT events. Lighig: GM meeting next week. General Staff PTS Scribbles: You mentioned that everyone that isn't ARC/ARF will have to go through ARQ to use the vehicles right? Answer (Chambers): Yes, you will need to have ARQ training to use ATRT and BARC. SOBDE will have to go through ARQ as well. Punybob: To the TR team, please put AFK in your name if you're going to AFK on the server. If new players join the server and see a bunch of trainers ignoring them, they won't be wanting to hang around. If you get pulled, don't act like you're AFK to avoid the training. Also, for encounters, make sure you're reading the rules before you begin supervising them. Name: Sinister Who helped (If applicable): Quill Event Name: From a single pod, to an entire fleet Summary of the story: A droid pod was dropped on the planet with 7 B1's, tasked with recon. They were able to locate two outpost (both empty) and transmit coordinates to the CIS Command Frigate. After some time, two frigates arrived, deploying an army of B1's and a Commando Unit. They started attacking the base, dealing damage to the generators and the elevator systems. What was the result of the event?: Alpha Outpost communication arrays were hijacked, generators damaged, and elevator lifts damaged. +1. Playing on a job like Palpatine in game is annoying as fuck. All you do is walk around, CG follow you everywhere, and every event someones tryna kill or kidnap you. Tyzen did put in work outside of the server, and he was always there when I had questions or concerns. Just because not everyone can see what he does for the server doesn’t mean he did nothing. He could have done more, but he did a good job. Lets be honest here guys. It’s extremely unlikely we’ll ever have a Palpatine that is as active in game as Max was.

I'd actually really like this to be added, but I'd say only Senior Admin+ can use it, and not often.

What exactly do you mean by this? How do you plan to do this? Also, why is it a part of your plan for people to be cycling out of the battalion? Can you elaborate at all? Chain of Command is relatively simple. Hello. I'm making this post as a formal announcement that the specialized battalions will be running training on the Event Server on Friday, November 16th, at 6PM EST. The purpose of this is to run varying simulations as a regiment to test cooperation skills, as well as readiness to a variety of environments/situations.
