As most of you know, this has been coming for a while now and the time at last has come. I deploy early next month to Afghanistan as a contractor supporting various US Military entities in a wide range of operations and locations throughout the country. I enjoyed my time here as a player, staff member and brother to Synergy. I want to thank you all for the memories. Even as old as I am, I can honestly say I learned as much from you all as I hope some of you have learned from me. Farewells: @Joah You were the biggest reason I made the change from Icefuse to Synergy. The few months before playing on GMOD, I made a change when the server went live and @Gene as the current Bacara impressed me enough to make the leap to what could be a better playing community, one for the players and by the players. When I finally decided to go for staff purely to assist Galactic Marines with dupes for training, it changes into more and more responsibilities. I claim to this day. I never wanted to be anything other than a player, never felt the need to be a named character or even high staff or Director. I took the jobs because I felt at the current time, the server did not have someone capable of doing the job well enough. @Jackson When you were named Director I was very happy to hear it. I was hoping you and @Baxter would be the next directors as I felt you two could do the job well. You have been fantastic as player, a staff member and as a director. You know what it is you need to do, to move to the next level of Leadership and take that role into a new map, gaming experience with Joah and Synergy. @Matra I see a vast pool of potential to become more on this server. You have the intelligence and compassion to be effective into an eventual Director position. I believe you got to work on your leadership skills some more, as you put others needs in front of yours, especially those within your battalion. Do not be afraid to speak up for what you believe is right and do not let wrong decisions by others influence your future. @Freck You have surprised me time in time again. You are young but hungry and that works well for what you are going to come across in life. For this game, I do see eventual Director for you if you follow a few guidelines. Leadership, Mentorship, Professionalism, Strength of Character, Empathy, Forgiveness and Stability of Mind. @Medic, @Gene, @Dill, @Forseen, @Triferno: As previous Bacara’s I thank you for your time you put into the battalion to make GM what it is before I become Bacara. I hope to see you all again in the future. @Galactic Marines: To all that are now, have been Marines and those yet to come. I hope you have learned the credo of the Marines and use it in your real life. It is not just a game motto but something you as a person in real life. @Everyone I will see you all in game throughout the next few weeks and possibly when I am deployed. [This song is Appropriate] Oxen, You were without a doubt one of the best Directors to come to our server. Through thick and thin you stuck by Jackson and myself and got the work done. In the beginning, it seems like it's a never-ending sea of vast ocean and nothing but obstacles. You continue to push forward and never seen an end but you turn around to see those who are following you. I can proudly say that I watched you grow from a player to a staff member to a valuable member of the community to one of the best leaders I've ever seen step foot into our community. Sitting here typing this is probably one of the hardest things I've had to do. It pains me to know that you go to a country where harm can be inflicted upon you. Sir, it is an honor and privilege to have met and worked with you. You have taught me a lot of things without having to say a word. You will always have a home in this community, we here at Synergy offer nothing but our respect as you walk a new path. I hope when you have bad times that you can think about some of the friendships that you've made here. A lot of people view this as just a game, but when in reality it really is a great escape from our own reality. We grow bonds with the person on the other side of that screen. I can boldly state that I have found a friend in you. I will always have you in my mind while you are out there. I may not be a religious man, but I know you are a Christian, in that respect, I will pray for your safe return. Maybe it'll open my eyes to something new in life. Not going to lie, I kinda shed a tear when you were giving that PTS in the community meeting. You were one of the best Directors and good luck in deployment, may you be safe. I'll send you a can of beans too, expect that.

I see people getting stuck or just needing help very often, and I wish I could help but I can't. I want to help make Synergy a better place for everyone, and keep the machine oiled for as long as I can. I feel like the staff team, recently, needed more people to do their jobs as staff and I want to go and help by doing my job as a staff member. As the server receives new members I feel that it is a staff members job to help them out and I would like to fill that role. Helping people and keeping everything enjoyable is what keeps me satisfied. Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): I'm a 13 year old from Upstate NY who was born in Missouri. I got bored and I joined one day and it was the best decision I made in a long time. I have a great interest in history (all of it). Star Wars is by far my favorite fictional universe and I've been a fan for 5 years. My favorite games are Planetside 2, Warframe, War Thunder, Overwatch, Mount & Blade Warband, and the Darwin Project. I paint mini figures as a hobby and I own 2 cats. I also enjoy my time on Synergy. Do you have any previous staff experience? I was an admin on a Battle Royale server on GMOD (around a year ago, I forget the name), and an admin on a Halo RP server called Verian, but I only have experience with ULX and do not have experience with the system on Synergy.

From what I've heard from friends of mine, I thought you were a badass, turns out you're an actual badass PMC. Take it easy, make it back.

But you have infinite ammo on your medkit, use that? 95% of the jobs on server are attack-based, I think Medics should be fine just healing.

RP Name: 91st Recon JTL PLT ENG CPT Bolt Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:105927181 Age: 13 Gender: Male Timezone: PST/MST (Arizona doesn't like daylight savings so....depends when it is) Tell us why you wish to be an administrator (6 sentence minimum): Now about a month ago I came back from another one of my breaks from the server, I was a CT and all that and now I am a 91st because they are back and it has been great to be back, but there were some issues with staff, especially with gamemaster activity and the system, along with the fact nobody wants to train CC's. I want to help the server right now again as I've done in the past, and I want to help synergy's future. I believe I can do a lot for the community, even as one person, one guy on a staff team on a major server. I've been with this community for a long time, since it began, and before that back when we were all one on icefuse, before the days their corruption was revealed to us, and I love this community, but the staff team needs help, and I'll be there for them, also gamemaster's too but that is just looking ahead into the future. The staff team needs help and I want to be there for it, to help the community grow more. We need to keep synergy going. And I want to be there when things begin to improve more and our staff team gets better till we are the best community out there in Garrys Mod. Anyway, I am not much of a star wars fan, but I like the clone wars, so I play here, woo. I am well known among the community here on synergy and am looking forward to hopefully being apart of it again through the staff team. I am looking forward to also being able to communicate ideas for the server, especially in the gamemaster area and expanding the wide variety of stuff we have such as models or vehicles.
