RP Name: 212th HVT ARC MSG Orange Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:43807368 Date of Ban: 12-3-2018 18:25~ Length of Ban: permanently. Offense: Advertising of another server. Banned By: ATK Regimental CMD Jackson Why should we unban you/shorten the ban period?: My "advertisement" was simply a polite request for a bunch of friends to come join a militia group I was invited to lead on a HL2 Server, I was told I needed to assign a few able leaders to help my friends private server kick start, I posted this on the 212th discord as I am friends with everyone on the discord and I wanted help from them to start this militia group up, I am sorry if it appeared that I am trying to draw players away from the community, Those were not my intentions. I would consider my invitation on the 212th discord as a Private invitation to my friends to come play with me, As I've mentioned there was no malicious intent with this invitation. I was not aware that my message would be considered advertising but now that I am aware I am apologizing and will not make the same mistake again. I owe a lot to this community and would never think of harming it by trying to reduce the player count, I hope you take my apology into consideration and allow me to play on the server again! Evidence to support your claims: The message that I posted: Hey guys, so one of my friends is gonna start a brand new Half Life 2 RP server and i got appointed the role of the Govenor of the slums, now i got the task to recruit milita as i've to slam order in the slums and set up basic rules, i thought why not ask the 212th, perhaps some people are intrested. Few things you'll have to think bout though. -This is hardcore serious RP. -Almost no minging, of course fun is tolerated. -How faster you apply, the bigger your rank is, if you seem fit for it. -This is completely different then starwars RP.3 points

Over the past 2 weeks of my experience on Synergy, a glaring problem has been made clear: a lack of cohesive tryout times. In my 6 years of experience with Clone Wars Role Play, tryouts were almost always limited to map size and available space. For example, on the standard Venator map, there could only really be two at once, as the Side hangars were the only suitable locations for them, with the Medbay being for the Medics exclusively, and the event server being reserved for Special Forces, such as Commandos or ARC. However, on Synergy, that is not the case. As soon as Debriefing is dismissed, for almost an hour afterward, officers can be seen spamming messages encouraging people to join a battalion, drowning out any text communication or attempt to give orders. As there are not many new players on the server at these times, one battalion may get lucky, and get one new Trooper to go to the tryouts, with all the spamming that goes on. And half the time, in my experience, that Trooper is a mingey CT just looking to cause trouble. Tryouts should be something special; A time when a battalion looks for new blood to hone and sharpen their skills, not a time for Commanders to push and shove for new recruits on a constant basis. The answer to this problem can be solved in two ways that I know work from my own personal experience. These have been tried-and-true methods of successful recruiting for over a dozen servers, and with the size of Synergy, it is sure to work here. The first way would be to limit the amount of tryouts that happen at once. As previously stated, the map usually determined the number of tryouts available at the time. Limiting people to 2 or 3 tryouts at once would cut down on the spam, and would give each battalion a genuine ability to recruit. Each tryout would be held for half an hour, and if no one showed up after that time, it would be cancelled, and another battalion would get to host tryouts. What would ensue is a constant cycle of just the right amount of tryouts, instead of a massive cluster of bickering officers clamoring for more Troopers. The second, and perhaps more drastic, solution would be to have scheduled tryouts. For example, the 501st and 212th would be cleared to host tryouts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while the 41st and SO would be able to host them every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, to name only a few battalions. Naval, SO, and other specialized battalions could host any time on the weekends, or within a set period. The current state of Synergy’s tryout system can be described in a few words: hectic, chaotic, and disorganized. It does no good to sit in one place and constantly post that tryouts are happening if you are drowned out by 5 other battalions doing the same thing. This system is fundamentally broken, and must be revised if Synergy is to continue growing. Sincerely, Rancor ARC Sergeant 2598 Rook1 point

Name: TR 41st GC WO Blaze Suggestion: A 2v2 tournament where any and all can participate. This would be a game of skill so the participants would become CTs and health set to 250 and armor at 100. The tournament could have a small entry fee (if this is allowed) at 10-30k, winner takes all. The DC-15A or DC-15S can be used (participant choice) and if enough people sign up will involve double elimination with a "losers" bracket that will give teams two chances to win it all. I've already set up a Google Form for the entry here - (https://goo.gl/forms/FVXvkEMtliDYijIY2) - and the rules would be posted outside of the arena. The arena would be a simple PVP dupe in CSR or SBH. After registration is complete the bracket containing the teams would be posted with the times and dates of each match (matches would take place every 5-10 minutes for an hour at a time with a break in between for events and whatnot. Let me know what you guys think just thought it would be something fun for the community to get involved in and have some friendly competition. All transmissions are secured but if you need event jobs to talk to the whole server or vice versa maybe add a /broadcast or add a [Broadcast] to the advert? makes more sense to me tbh1 point

Zim was on ya'll for asking for so much to change in DU, and SS was one of the past things removed in that whole situation, so I don't see fit on re-adding something that was removed for a valid reason. -11 point

+1 Ok I just want to say RM is not a dying battalion, RM is generally active and developing itself is what is 100% mandatory for it to continue growing. Even when you were in the battalion this idea was knocking around and it was decided we should attempt to get it. This is something I personally as meds believe should be implemented into the republic medics due to the fact we need to expand on how Appealing RM. To grow RM must have an interesting aspect that people want and I do not think that a new skin and just a new RP role is going to do it this time hence the reason we have gone for something different. This unit will allow people to go into a more fun and mobile class that will be able to be on the front lines a lot more and also allowing them to get more combat rather than being locked up in the medical bay.1 point

Dude, you blatantly advertised a server to "get it's numbers up". In a public synergy discord at that. Or at least had someone do it for you. -1.-2 points
