We have been working with the Directors to devise a hierarchy that doesn't involve excessively long names such as "Naval Petty Officer Third Class (NAME)". I am now allowed to confirm that this will be the structure of the Republic Fleet from the foreseeable future. Should there be any issues please contact me via discord. THIS WAS ALL APPROVED BY FORSEEN Rank equivalents to the Grand Army of the Republic hierarchy have been added. ADMIRAL = BCMD VICE ADMIRAL = XO REAR ADMIRAL = COMMANDER COMMODORE = COLONEL LT = LIEUTENANT COLONEL CAPTAIN = CAPTAIN SUB LIEUTENANT = 1stLT ENSIGN = 2ndLT -------------------------------------------------- MIDSHIPMAN = CSM CHIEF PETTY OFFICER = 1SG SENIOR PETTY OFFICER = MSG PETTY OFFICER = SFC CREWMAN = SGT -------------------------------------------------- CREWMAN APPRENTICE = CPL RECRUIT = PVT Please spread this thread around! We got asked by server leadership to ensure that if we used ranks such as CPT that they equalled the rank of CPT in the GAR Hierarchy. LT was requested to be equalled to LTC. British Link to comment
