New regiment ?

Hey everyone,

So joah told me to put my idea in here so here i am. I would like to create a new regiment. I tought about it a couple day's ago and it is a project i would be very invested in. Just tell me what you think here is the idea. Enjoy

 

Name: 15th Defense Corps

Suggestion: My regiment would be the 15th Defense Corps. The 15th would be a groupe specialise in defense of perimiter, VIP, building or goods.

Implementation: The armor is a pretty basic Trooper armor with some purple/pink strips. The commander is CT-42/13-8038 (Also known as Jurkad) and the jedi general Nim-Adko. (Mostly unknown).

Lore: The real lore of the clone wars places the 15th at the battle of leziquk where it was almost completely destroyed in the battle.

Workshop content if applicable: Require Development (PS: (Armor look: https://swfanon.fandom.com/wiki/File:Defense15.jpg)

 

So far that is as far as my idea goes. Tell me what you think i would be happy to talk about it with anyone willing to give my a push and don't worry i am not the type of man to abandon, when i have an idea sky is the limite.

-1 I am sorry we have too many battalions already, next thing I dislike the look of the armor and the idea of that this battalion seems to be a marry sue battalion that can do everything even though we already have other battalions to do their job.

I would be neutral on this. Cause god knows the base needs it. (Security is a joke) but i think it would be easier to task someone like DU to actually pull security outside then a made up battalion.

Neutral. We already have a lot of battalions and adding more would only stretch out and separate the player base. There are already battalions that fit this description such as Shock Troopers and Doom's Unit. Also, I personally do not think the color pink belongs on the armor of soldiers fighting a war, however, purple is fine.

The color of the armor and the look is only a fanmade picture it is obviously possible to change the design since there is no workshop of that exact armor. Dont worry all im suggesting is an idea that would be talk about and modified if accepted

+1 More security is always welcome on the base. I think this can help shock focus on arrests and VIP protection while 15th security will focus on actually inspecting people as they come and go in the base.

we have too many battalions as it is and it is creating issues within the less popular battalions, resulting in loss of numbers and decreased activity. We need to focus on helping and revitalizing the already struggling battalions. Not add another.

I'm actually pretty okay with fanon if its fine correctly. However the fanon on this battalion looks like it was done in 5 mins or less. There are like 2 paragraphs with 3-4 scentances each. 

TLDR there is no lore at all.

On paper this sounds like a cool idea, but in practice it just doesn't work for reasons that have been stated above:

• They're discount 187th / DU / Shock / whatever else 
• Too many regiments / battalions already.

But I think that everyone misses the point that this post has brought to my attention. Personally, i believe its up to every trooper / battalion to guard the base and maintain its security. If not everyone then at least Shock, which I have seen them do from time to time, because its kind of their thing to guard things etc. But more importantly, I'm pretty sure there is a document or sheet out there that has all the battalions down for a certain time per day to man either the base defences (walls etc.), Alpha outpost, Bravo outpost as well as just general patrolling.  (I know that 104th and Rancor have this document but i'm not sure about the other battalions.) 

So an easy fix for this would be to just follow the schedule provided as closely as possible. But this would have to be enforced by BCMD+ in every regiment / battalion. 

 

TL;DR: There are already Battalions on the server that does the Job of the "15th Defence Core" *cough* Shock *cough* plus other Battalions can do the Job of the suggested Battalion. There is no need for it.
