  1. 5/5/5 Simple yet effective, nice to have a CQC environment for a change of pace.
  2. That would help, wouldn't it? Haha, didn't catch that, I thought I had linked it properly. Fixed.
  3. Name: Anderson SteamID: STEAM_0:0:40092814 Current Staff Rank: Admin Are you Currently a GH?: Yes How long have you played on the server? [Hours]: 446 From 1-10, what would you rate your knowledge of the Clone Wars?: 7 Do you understand that if you are inactive, you will be removed from the program?: Yes Why do you want to join the Gamemaster team?: I want to be able to expand the type of events I am currently capable of running. With the cooperation of SA's, I have been able to at least get some basic dupes for my encounters, but I would like to expand the complexity of my encounters and events to make them more interesting and engaging. Do you have any suggestions for the gamemaster team?: None that pop into my head at this time. Link us to a document for a deployment (event server) that you will execute as a gamemaster: A droid attack on the Wookies...? Place the links below of at least 2 Events you have been the GM for (Optional) No full-sized events, but have done plenty of encounters. Here are two with ratings I have done in the past: Bugs do be munching Droid incursion in Aurek

4/4/5 Good downtime event, interesting air combat.

    Point Rain - SkiTz

5/5/4 Server was chugging a bit, but the effort and care was above and beyond. The event was awesome and extremely fun, challenging but also fair. I want to see more events like this!
  7. Who helped (If applicable): Mor Link to Event/Encounter Document (optional): N/A Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): Aurek outpost listening device went down, infantry was deployed to find out what happened. 8. 5/5/5 Great encounter during serious downtime, and I would dare say would have been even a good event,
  9. Having read and re-read the OP, I'll go ahead and throw in my two cents. Neutral on the Training changes. They could be good, but I'm super weary of making stuff take longer. Getting ARC trainings already are a huge pain, so unless you are seriously going to ramp up how many are hosted this may just make it much harder to get things moving. Also, I'm curious: If people have passed selections, but for some reason or another haven't completed the other two, do they have to re-do selections under the new system you are thinking of implementing? +1 on the ARCT. I like the idea and I'm in favor of letting people "play around" with their new toys, yes there is potential for abuse but as long as its monitored this shouldn't be a big issue. -1 on mandatory recerts. Unless you are going to significantly change the content of the trainings, there is no need. And if you ARE significantly changing the trainings, well, then this is a wipe in all but name. Note that I said mandatory recerts. If you instead allowed recert as a current Arc as an option rather than mandatory I think you'd get a lot less pushback, people that aren't interested in retaking it won't complain and those that want to be caught up to snuff will have the option and ability to do so. 10. 4/4/5 Server performance was good, event was interesting and a change of pace from normal.

  13. 10/10 Very few words give this deployment justice. This has been the best deployment I have been on the entirety of Synergy, period. The RP was excellent, the shooting was interesting and the premise was awesome. It truly deserves a the 10/10.

  15. 4/5/2 Good event, a lot of effort was done as well. But I saw a lot of 200+, some 300+ pings. My own ping was like 400+. Server was struggling for a while there.

  19. Considering that as recently as yesterday he, from my understanding, barged into a 2ndAC tryout and belittled one of our members, I'm having a hard time deciding on what my rating should be. I want to believe that, as others have said in this thread, he is capable of being serious and a good person. On the other, I'm weary of both his shown behavior as well as his desire to join the staff team to become "more mature". Joining the staff team isn't a silver bullet that will magically make you more mature, and in fact, may actually exacerbate maturity issues if one doesn't already have a good baseline maturity. It's pretty easy to belittle people when you can cloak, fly around, and teleport people to you and there's nothing they can do about it. Given all these reasons, and after reading through the thread again, I'm going to have to -1 for now. Should I see an improvement on his behavior in the future, I'd be open to changing my rating on any future applications. As for Scooter: I think you CAN become a good member of staff, but just aren't there quite yet. If you can work on your behavior, specially in irritating situations, I think you would make an excellent staff member.
  20. Good app, I've had no negative interactions with you and you seem like an all-round cool dude. +1
  21. Good app, and the few interactions I had with him have been positive ones. +1
