Name: Jovanovic RP Rank: Marshal Commander Suggestion: Change the loading screen! We're not on a Venator anymore, so instead of a Venator load screen I suggest Anaxes base. Several suggested images are below, but if we want to go the way of Jayarr/another artist busting out some skills or just finding another image to use, that works just as well. Simple changes like changing the loading screen mixes up something small that all of us see almost every day when we load in. It's a small change that can lead to a large difference and a bit more of a new feeling. (We can also launch this alongside the new map, as that might really help hammer the 'new' feeling.) Implementation: Change the image we have as our loading url Other: I'm sure we switched to this loading screen after we were already off the Venator, idk I may have even been here when we switched to this and don't remember. Title's mostly just a meme. Suggestion still stands though. hard to say the server's dying when we're hitting max numbers for the first time in over a year. the haters cant cope enough. Jokes aside finally have time to respond to this and holy shit +1. all the+1s. If this is well thought out and discussed with each battalion extensively before it's implemented, this is boutta be gamechanging.

+1, this is not something I was able to get the senate consistent enough to feel comfortable putting forward, and we also didnt have many good ideas for the senators themselves. I'm glad you've solved both problems and I certainly hope this is accepted.

while this suggestion is uh... less than fleshed out. I do wanna say a medal system could work if implemented properly. This is a separate discussion altogether just because of the nature of this suggestion, but having a mixed battalion/server medal system would not be a bad idea. We played with the idea for 212th, and my proposal was to have a lot of different medals, but only a couple of which had to be given by anyone above BCMD. And most of those were unit citations, basically meaning everyone in the battalion/regiment/faction/whatever gets one, as the group as a whole is doing really well. I think it's unfortunate that when this suggestion came up it was worded so poorly. I don't think that medals wouldve been added anyway, but it'd have created some interesting discussion.

that's only possible through channel groups. ts server groups dont have a permission to limit their abilities to specific channels. hence its a channel admin thing atm. i think youre sayin the same thing, just clarifying. @Forseen

So im skeptical with BCMD being able to move VAs. At the moment, even regimental commanders cant move new admins. This would be a very, very large leap. There's a lot of pros and cons there, and there's 0 shot founders would go for it from my experiences. I'd rec sticking with channel admin

Can confirm many 3heads have threatened to aos for killin in spawn room. When i first joined i also thought it was past the spawn room. +1 put it in the rules so all the dudes that have the page bookmarked wont make a fuss

you see actually tho this suggestion would kill the server. Do you understand how much of player interaction is just one dude who wants to do something running into a guy who's b-hopping around MHB. As someone whose only active whitelist is my RCMD with a jetpack and so i cant bhop, i spend so much less time on the server not actually doing anything, and only tab in to get something going or when something is happening, and it's decreased time tabbed into gmod by like 80-90% You wanna know why RCMDs afk all the time? It's cause we can't bhop. Now all i need to do is resign from staff so i cant bhop by throwing myself in and out of noclip at mach 7. my +1 stands by removing bhopping we could save cumulative centuries of lifespan from being wasted pressing 7 buttons.

+1, senate commandos lookin better is a huge dub this started at almost 3 minutes in, so finn sat there listening to this for 3 whole ass minutes before deciding to send the link.

I think a lot of people are -1ing the appeal based on the fact that he's been banned so many times, but the reason for a permanent ban (a thing we have so few of we have an actual list on the forums you can read in under a minute) is because of alting. I personally am sympathetic to that plea alone, he wasn't trying to hide it and he wasn't doing some horrible thing, he had a half a day ban. I'd +1 that he should stay banned for a few days-2 weeks, but not permanently for this action alone. If high staff want to revisit the case and change the perma ban reason to his consistent NITRP, fair enough, and I'd prolly -1 that ban appeal. But for alting to get around a 12 hour ban, once? +1
