Massive +1 Let me tell you a tale of this man... Tristan has been the longest serving 327th that is still in active status. He was one of the best Bly's in this battalions history, and led it into a golden age throughout Icefuse, and advised us into a new one with me and Zahariel working with him. He may be an old dog, but this old dog can still do many, many new tricks, and will be the RIGHT choice for this battalion. As a former 327th Commander, I loved this battalion and it was my baby, to see it removed crushed me. But to see we finally have an opportunity to do this again, and not make the the mistakes of the past. He is the best fit for the position, nay, the ONLY fit for Bly. He was a great advisor I had when I was in the 327th, and he greatly assisted us in ALL of our major undertakings. He was a great advisor to me through my High Command time, and was someone who always had the right call in the right moments. Tristan is the one who will make this battalion succeed, and I will be there to support him the entire way through. "We are a crew, a team... in some ways, a Family."

+1 Shakes is one of the most capable officers that could lead CG. He manages to be able to lead his troops, and garner the respect of those below him. Go on, my son, do great things... Don't get hit this time...

-1 You're not nearly ready for this yet, not in the slightest. I will list my reasons in a Pro/Con rating below Pros: You do a lot of training as a Senior Commander You are very active You try to be involved with everyone* Cons: You are overly-involved and tend to micromanage people from what I have seen. You are a SENIOR not a BATTALION Commander, let people have SOME freedom. Specialized is in an mess right now. No one wants to say it, but it is true. CG is struggling with numbers, DU is having a massive resignation/leaving issue and has no officers, 104th is OK but that doesn't mean they are good. SOBDE has no REG and from what I saw is you tried to enforce your OWN doctrine, under the guise of using what Max said to your own advantage. You tried to legislate and used Max as a scapegoat when people turned on you. You continue to try and act with a superiority complex towards those below you, and I will comment on that now. My largest CON against you is the classic issue of Respect. You have to pull rank because no one respects your leadership. You rule your brigade as a dictator, and when those who disagree with you, you just pull "Well I'm a senior and you have to listen to me". This causes people to lose respect for you, and also make you look like a total buffoon. The fact that your SOLE way to get things done is to say "Well, you have to listen to me" just shows you are NOT fit for Marshal. The Marshal should be someone that a CONSENSUS should be able to look up too. To me, and many others, this is just a power-grab move on a SWRP server. You are NOT ready for this position, you are not FIT for this position, and you do not DESERVE this position. Moving on to dissect this application and separate the campaign jargon into what is really means... How do you plan on doing this? Anyone can say they will increase role play, but do you have any examples? You have done NOTHING in game to try and encourage role play, all you do is host training and that is it. Gene tried this. Didn't end well. Example of micromanaging battalions. Why isn't this a thing you do already? You keep saying "Max would want High Command to do this" but what is your excuse for not ALREADY DOING IT? Set an example through demonstration, not conversation. Another example of trying to nit-pick officers. Define "Disciplined" for us. What does that mean? Everyone can have a different definition, and seems like another tool for you to control battalions in a micromanaging way. I could go on all day, but I think I got the point across. You should not be Marshal Commander.

+1 Sadly Jacien, you're a great guy... but GM is dead. The 327th had around 3-4 before it was removed for inactivity, yet GM has even less than that. There ususally tends to be only 1 or 2 on EVERYDAY. I can also attest to the GM "refusal" to change, because even my time in High Command they REFUSED to do anything to change their ways and are so bogged down in old dogmatic tradition, that any concept of change is radically rejected. It is time for a new shift in GM... out of the old... into the new.
