Never been ARC before, so take this with a grain of salt and know that it's from an outside perspective looking in. The idea of going at your own pace is a solid idea, so that you aren't necessarily rushed or stressed about it, but as I saw @Luthersay that could be a lot of people. This kind of system sounds like it'd be a lot of individualized learning, which if you really are true to the value of wanting to make a difference in someone's abilities / grow their skills and what not, usually means a lot of attentive care. If there's going to be an emphasis on individuals, then the staff that runs these trainings are going to need to care about their student's progress and needs, which will vary per person as everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Could be envisioning this completely wrong due to fatigue and I'm a visual learner. But so, if done properly I think this could produce some quality ARCs in both merit and attitude, not to mention I think it could also develop a sort of bond across all ARC units, especially with the ARC training staff. I'd see it also being a gratifying experience to complete for those who are really gung-ho about being an ARC. Overall, it sounds like it'd be a nice system to improve an "esprit de corps" and make ARC something you undertake with the intention to develop your skills, with a gratifying result. So long as staff are attentive, encouraging, and constructive, this could be lit for the experience of becoming and being an ARC for those who really want it. As valid as the complaints about wiping are, if you think the process is a chore then see if you have a little more passion for another field or just stick around and go through it with an open mind; Be the constructive first generation, as that's what someone who cares about ARC and not just themselves would do imo. Again, take that all with a grain of salt as someone who hasn't ever gone into ARC or necessarily had an interest in being one. I just know ARC is a staple thing of the Clone Wars and the server, so if it can be something unique / a positive experience for those who want in, then I support that. @Tinovious was always a blast to RP with on the off chance our battalions back in the day would allow for it, as well as when he was Kal and I was briefly Four-Two. @Broand @Omalicwere also really fun dudes to RP with while I was Bly and they were Cody / Rex. I miss that attack BCMD trio ngl, Geonosis ATK deployments were fire. @Loopy Newbywas great to RP with throughout the 327th, I'd say especially during my Bly term and I believe he was leading K-Company as Deviss. Stoked to get to RP with new people though, gonna be lit

I'm clocking back into Synergy for the first time in like two years (probably a little longer) and am wanting to sink some hours in to have some fun with my free time. I had hopped on the other night and met some familiar faces, and some new ones as well, which was really awesome. Synergy for me has always been a cool place to "find your place" somewhere, settle into a new group of friends like I did in the 327th way back. So what's new? How are y'all old and new enjoying the server, what are some cool updates or plans that are otw? Hope to come to know a lot of new people, so I look forward to meeting all y'all! Man, I cannot believe this community sometimes lmfao. -1 I've been out of this community for a hot minute and kinda expected this, I won't lie. I mean, look what happened with the label of semi-serious to serious RP. Just kept flip flopping because yknow, why actually enforce RP when you can just swap the label and call it a day? But that's besides any point, Comics made a good point about the activity bit. Battalion won't really bring anything new, and trust me I know. As Bly and even before that, we scrambled to find more enticing things for 327th to make them look better. Something like 104th's control over mechanized, but ATTE's were "too laggy", so it is what it is. 327th was a rockin battalion as a home, but as to what it'll bring to the server after everything? That's little to nothing. I mean, look at what happened to 187th when they got reintroduced; Merged into another battalion. It'll be hyped up a bit, then drop off and die. Through your friendship with Loopy, we became absolute G's, man. You were always good for a laugh, supported whatever I did, and made me feel some brotherhood type shit I rarely experience with my pals. Not gonna try to be too sappy and shit, but you did a fuckin banger of a job here on synergy. From O'den to Ki-... Prudii, omega, niner, kal, spec reg, you experienced a shit ton and left quite an imprint on everything you touched. In any case, the friendship I got outta this whole thing is arguably the best thing about my experience on Synergy. Anyway, huge o7, man. This community needs to make up its fucking mind, holy Christ. No matter the labeling on the server list, the server has mic enabled, it's never going to be as serious as maybe some want it. The most you can do is enforce RP, especially if you're in a position of power and can influence people's behavior. In my opinion, RP can only be truly immersive and well done in text, never voice (as nobody is a voice actor, and everyone is tempted to crack jokes and meme no matter the situation), but you can only do your best with what you got, I suppose. In the end, who fuckin' cares, it's Synergy roleplay. I don't even if the people who say they want better RP truly do or not. +1

+1 One of my absolute friends on Synergy, man. But besides god tier friendship and comradery, Tino's definitely a great candidate for SOBDE reg. Dude cares about the place, and I'd say that since I joined he's one of the most competent people on the server lol. From Ki- O'den to Kal, this guy has shown shown a lot of mettle. +1 Jayarr's, in my opinion, exactly what the 327th needs at the moment. Take shots at me for my resignation which was early, but I still care for the 327th and wanna see it succeed. Under Jayarr, I think it'll flourish and prosper if he's given the room to do what he deems necessary to do. Which is all I can hope will be the case, and hope that people don't try to interject into his transition from current 327th to his own. It was eh, 5/10. Average to me and has been done just a bit too much imo. Zombies were also hella resistant, dunno if that was who was spawning them or not, but it legit took so many mags to kill ONE. Overall, I don't really think it should continue, something more relevant to the situation on Anaxes would probably be better to do.
