If I have learned anything in my almost 4 years here it’s that some of my best friends have been made here, the good times and the bad and it makes you grow as a person. We didn’t agree on certain things but I can agree that you make some sick ass dupes. Your a good guy and mean well I hope there is no bad blood between us on your end, at the end of the day we are just doing what we think is right. enjoy your time relaxing and enjoying life touch some grass and kiss a girl (or guy, or whatever your into)and uh don’t think I wouldn’t post this your final negative talk for now has arrived. Not gonna vote but this has been made before and got denied so don’t be too surprised if it gets denied again.

-1 I don’t think that pay is bad, as someone who has sat on a lot of bcmd / high paying jobs for along time. I think using other ways to make money would be better, ie. picking things up, crafting weapons that have a higher chance to get better stats or skins maybe. I’ve had a lot of ideas on things that could increase the downtime between events. However I feel that a lot of the times it’s been getting more droid shooting for longer than then 10 - 20 minute events we get just sit back and let the farm roll in lol. kinda sorta on the right track but not x10 or x3 increase should happen

Playtime discounts… thats a hot idea me and my 9k server hours. +1 for starting ammo and the simple stuff however I think if you did certain other ones like vendor discount it would need to be a price increase for it being more expensive as that is an end game type situation. However I think some good ideas could come outa something like this

I’ve been saying this for 2 years now, however with server performance as of late I don’t know if the server can hand with more shit spawning in. if you ever played defcon their events were cool but only got like 5 fps on a decent pc and like 2 tic rate. This would have to be mission based and not just random spawn in or drops cuz that would kill the server. I’d be down to write a mission line and I know some of the GM leadership would too it’s something I’ve been working on for BH very slowly. It would be a cool idea +1 just gotta do it right

A few questions for you metal. 1. Do you plan to take a more firm stance within the battalion if you get bcmd? i have seen it time in and time out that a weak bcmd who allows others to speak over or step over them loses trust of their men quick. Personally I have seen it happen many times what is your plan to make sure things like this don’t happen? 2. What is your plan with all of the transfer officers? Are you going to do an evaluation period or what is your plan overall? let’s be honest alot of people came as a power grab how do you plan so deal with the inevitable fact that people are going to leave in mass if they don’t get what they want? 3. besides the basic “activity this , improve relations this” what are some actual plans for issues that you see that you personally want to address and change?

-1 as much as I like you I’d rather see other applicants get the position. They have a much more vast experience within the battalion. I also think some of your plans aren’t that great and are pretty bland overall.

Metro you out of anyone knows that every battalion faces these problems, every single one at this point your advocating removing any battalion that goes into a slump. 104th has been in this state multiple times before, after a few BCMD’s have left. 41st has had much worse times and no one came calling for their head. 501st and 212th have their moments as well. im not even saying these are chronic issues that they have like 91st or 327th had. This issue only arose after an untimely departure or a solid bcmd and an XO who wasn’t ready yet. It’s been at most 2 weeks. If we let rancor sit and struggle for over a year then DU should get more than 2 weeks.

Alright resident Dooms Unit Founder Dennis here. So as we can all expect -1 dumb suggestion 1. Removing battalions to "add something" is a dumb theory come to the table with something you want added then, battalion faction etc. Don't just start screaming bloody murder battalion dead cuz its dealing with low numbers. Everyone is like this because high command has taken such a public front in this. The same suggestion could have been posted for Rancor, or 41st, or 21st, 104th whoever is "dead" at the time. It just happens to be Dooms Unit right now, marvel you of anyone should know battalions come and go and only 501st and 212th and 1 or 2 others really pop off and do well while one is dead and the others struggle to fight for the middle of the pack. 2. "Too many battalions" is a lame excuse for what is considerably a lower player pop currently. We struggle to retain players and gain new ones that stay. GMOD is a old as balls game and not a lot of people want to play it or come to it. While we do get CT's and new players they have a lot of options to choose from and that's not a bad thing. Having a variety isn't bad, yes some things wont be as popular but you still have people who don't want to run in a main stream battalion. 3. Wipe, BCMD apply whatever it wont truly fix the issue that doing these things only helps for a short while. Battalions do well when they have strong leadership that can help set up the future. When i came back as doom that is what I did, three pretty successful doom terms for the most part, what has really taken a toll on the battalion is people having IRL issues and having to take a step back. TLDR: this is such a knee jerk reaction to a long standing problem the server has faced since i joined back in 2018 of battalions being active and some being not, its just not DU's "time right now" they have their moments and so do other battalions. The problem isn't the amount of battalions its, keeping players and not forcing them out because we don't "like them" or trying to get CT's / new recruits to come back. That is where the key lies in the success of the server. Not in removing battalions cuz they are having a hard time and people have to focus on their real lives. Its time for the community to not sit here and push for removal but to take this as an opportunity to learn, help grow the community and expand their knowledge and break the clique they always run in. Try something new enjoy different aspects of the server and not push to remove unique things from the server after one BCMD application gets denied.

These were people coming back from LOA. Their LOA would end and on that day and zero would ping them that their LOA has ended and give them 24 hours to reply or be removed. Unfortunately I didn't screen shot any of this and doom's unit moved to an almost fully automated roster with one form that all the old logs have been deleted so even if I wanted / was able to check the old logs for proof I couldn't. LOA's would end and then they would have 24 hours to reply or be removed TLDR This was the screenshot i took after i openly stated that removing people in mass was hurting the battalion. As previously stated i dont have a ton of screenshots or any way to look at old logs cuz they have been deleted in the discord. Both Turk and Yeaster were demoted. Turk - had suffered from long bouts of LOA/ inactivity since the start of my term and was on his way out and had been demoted before under myself and maddoxx. However instead of just asking him to resign you and stroodle both demoted him to CSM. Yeaster - was promoted to commander at the same time as you and had been on a known ROA for school and sports. You and Stroodle both made the decision to demote him down to CSM during his sports season. This was in my eyes very disrespectful and uncalled for, everyone deals with IRL issues and this was one of his first cases of not playing much. Now i could be misinformed on this one but turk i know im not. Its your job as an XO to help yes, however, its also your job to come up with ideas and better solutions to something you feel is broken or not working. The moment you dont your failing as your job as XO. In my opinion you should listen yes but you need to also be devils advocate and think outside the box to make sure all the decisions are fully thought through. I get there are points that you are just over ruled but it seems that little to no effort was put in.

-1 I wasn’t going to publicly vote on this app and just keep my opinions to myself but at this point I feel that I need too. During my term as doom you showed great promise and had overcome your days of super minging etc and improved. I promoted you too fast from CPT to LTC and then commander. It went to your head and it showed. During Maddoxx’s term ending and stroodle’s beinging you kept removing people at an alarming rate hurting the battalion. you single handedly brought the battalion from almost 60 people to 20, with only giving people 24 hours to reply from long loa’s etc. when I spoke up about giving them more time to not harm the battalion I was met with hostility and told that we can’t play favorites even though I was speaking in general terms. You did all of this within the span of 2 months. you then went on a crusade to demoted long standing officers who had irl issues going on and pushed for them to be demoted to CSM instead of politely asking them to step down or resign. You targeted myself and my friends who want to play and have fun and relax and just enjoy what little fun we could have on the sever. You pushed them away and ultimately making them leave the community once again. You not only did this with my friends but others in the battalion who suffered from extreme irl issues instead of being a decent person and just letting them be and have fun. I know of at least 5 people who left after you removed them due to their loa ending after only 24 hours. It took myself having to go to the RCMD to get the issue fixed since you wouldn’t listen to stroodle. i have nothing against you personally I enjoy playing with you and your tons of fun on BH. I just don’t think your ready for the politics side of the server that being a bcmd+ requires. You don’t have the tact or gracefulness to not be the bull in the China shop. I hope this doesn’t ruin our friendship but I needed to say this. -1, I don’t think your plans or experience have you ready. You still have much to learn and I do think one day you will make a great bcmd.
