My old years of experience I could use to help mentor the younger staff as well as being taught new tricks and wisdom from the younger generation as well. I have had previous experience in Icefuse with being a former Executive from about a year and a half ago and I believe that I am a respectful, mature, and calm headed individual. I thoroughly believe that my wisdom would be very beneficial to the server and I would help to lessen the workload of higher ranking staff. I know the ins and outs of forum staffing by now and most commands are second nature by now (if the system is similar to Icefuse's). In short, I am well versed in learning to manage forums. In addition, in college I have plenty of spare time now that I have everything situated and will be on the forums for at least 4 hours+ if not more most every day. Hello there, as a former Executive of Icefuse from a long time ago (IDK if anyone still remembers me), back in 2016, even before the Crisis and Joah days, I've known Gene for a long time. Gene has most of the time been calm and mature, in a staff capacity he is able to make level headed decisions. However there are times that he has had bouts and problems with authority and other members he disagrees with, as he was demoted for apparently power abusing by Odyssey back in the day. I worked alongside Gene, in a staff capacity and I can definitely see that I did not agree with him for everything, but I could tell he definitely tries. I understand that everyone has a sort of temperament, and sometimes those personalities clash. I do not know the full story between the 212th, 41st, and the rest of the battalions against Gene, but from what I have been hearing it seems like Gene is trying to effect change in a way that he comes off as threatening to demote people or power abusive without actually explicitly saying it. So in my opinion, Gene is a good person and a good leader, however he could use a touch of subtlety in dealing with people from what I hear. If the battalion documents and the way Gene dealt with it like the 212th is saying is true, then he would obviously not be a good choice. But since I can't take words at face value, without actual evidence, I currently have to give a neutral for Gene. Best of luck to you Gene, I would like to get both sides of the story though, so if you want to give me your own perspective and as well as the people who support Mamba were to give me their own perspective in more detail, I would be inclined to change my opinion.
