  1. Steam Name: Freck | Synr.gg RP Name: Fleet Admiral Yularen RP Rank: Admiral of the Republic Navy Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:190610964 Brigade you are applying for: Marshal Commander of the Grand Army of the Republic Experience: I have gained a lot of experience in many positions such as: - Shadow Company BCMD Blackout - Synergy’s first Blackout, who built Shadow Company from the ground with guidance from Max and the hard work from Bbstine and Jayarr. - RC Delta Squad Scorch - Null Squad Kom'rk - Jedi General Eeth Koth - Jedi General Keelyvine Reus - Jedi Master (X2) - Sentinel Lead (X2) - Jedi General Anakin Skywalker - 501st TC REGL Commander Ridge - Game Master Officer (X2) - Game Master Chief - Chancellor Palpatine - Director (X2) The experience I gained from these positions built me as an individual to help me pursue the following which I deem to be the most important: Admiral Yularen (X5) - Vice Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin - Quartermaster Lead I was in the Navy before I departed from the server for around 8 months. After getting into Naval for the second time, following an unjustified removal (I wasn’t logged on the docs), I ventured into what would become the main journey of my CWRP experience. Firstly, I single-handedly built the Quartermaster branch from being perceived as “useless” to becoming one of the key pillars of Naval. This wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for my dedication to the Navy combined with my reliable activity, as well as my strong leadership and confidence in my own ability. I strode through the ranks under multiple admirals, these being Reptilia, Forseen, Baller and finally Squeaks. Squeaks granted me the opportunity to be her Vice Admiral and successor, which I gratefully accepted. My two terms as Admiral taught me many things, such as how to adapt to the constantly changing player base and how to remain consistent with my methods of approaching situations, I feel as if these qualities are both necessary when running for a position of such high calibre. My journey in Naval did come to an unfortunate end, however since returning I have reignited my love for Naval and the journey must continue, onwards and upwards. The third-fifth times server as Admiral were probably the most rewarding of the three terms that I’ve served. I really did fix what was broken. We went from 1 active Naval to at least 5 a day, with consistent trainings and a high standard of roleplay. We saw the Navy finally seize its former glory once again. I've seen the navy regain itself to be an active faction with competent successors lined up, something that has not existed for quite a while. CWRP Director (X2) & Trainer Director My journey through the staff team and the trainer program taught me a lot, I was faced with 1many challenges along the way and ultimately made decisions that would not just impact the player base at the time but future generations of players. This has taught me the importance of my actions and the effect that they can have on not just a few individuals but the community as a whole. My love for the Trainer Program came to me quite early on in my staffing days, as a New Admin I would spend hours awaiting new cadets, sometimes training up to 15+ people a day. This alone demonstrates how I am willing to dedicate myself to a cause and help others within my community no matter what it takes. My promotion to Director of CWRP alongside Square was by far one of my biggest achievements, being just aged 14, I was Synergy Roleplay’s youngest Director. Sadly real life came first and despite my best efforts to stay, I left when it was necessary. My second time as Director was interesting, to say the least. I got put into the role after being a Head Admin for just 3 days. Anderson and I had to deal with copious amounts of drama, inactive BCMD and a worrying amount of permabans… all of these, however, did teach me how to be pragmatic and confident in decisions, something very valuable as a leader. Why should you become a Marshal Commander?: There are multiple reasons why I should be granted the position of Marshal Commander. I am a current member of the community that has shown an immense amount of dedication & determination to improving roleplay, high command and battalion relations despite only being responsible for the Navy recently. Dedication - My extensive and unwavering dedication to Synergy Roleplay has brought me to many amazing positions and has given me many memories that I will never forget. I will remain dedicated to helping the community with anything and everything. I promised myself upon my return that I would promote the roleplay as much as I can, with this being said my dedication to the roleplay can only expand if I move up to the highest office. Leadership - From my experiences within the server, my leadership has rewarded me with many things, such as Admiral, CWRP Director, Trainer Director, Game Master Chief and Medal of Honor. I believe that I am a leader that can be respected because I am fair but strict when I need to be. I think before I act, which is key for a leader when making tough decisions. Additionally, as a leader I involve as many people as I can, I believe that discussion leads to positive outcomes. As Marshal Commander, I will remain a strong, dedicated, cooperative leader. Activity - My activity since being in the position of Admiral Yularen has compared greatly to the current standards set. I have ensured that players across all time zones have interacted with me. With this being said my activity has resulted in all units that I have been led in to become more active and has given me the opportunity to become a Head Administrator recently. Confidence - I am confident in my capabilities to be a leader of large organisations. I am able to use my confidence to inspire others to assist me in creating and maintaining the best possible outcomes. I have confidence in what I believe in, and as Marshal Commander confidence is imperative to success. Honesty - I am not afraid to express my views on controversial topics, as I believe honesty is the only way to create trust between myself and colleagues. Honesty within a team strengthens bonds and allows us as a community to move in a more positive direction. I believe that being honest will allow people to fully develop themselves and improve upon previous mistakes. Maturity - I believe myself to be incredibly mature. I have been in this community from the very start, many people here have seen me go from a boy to a young man. I was assigned to the position of Admiral Yularen and Director at age 14, I have managed the Navy and Staff for quite a long period of time, alongside many other units within the server. I am able to combat any situation in a mature manner without losing my sense of humour or ability to enjoy the game. Approachability - I find myself to be someone that's incredibly approachable regardless of the situation that people find themselves in. As Marshal Commander, this is going to be a strong asset within my wide range of skills that will hopefully help bridge the gap between the players & high command. Also, I feel as if being approachable will help bridge the gap between the high staff team and the players. Do you understand the lore of the Grand Army?: Yes, I can read from the wiki pages too! Availability: Monday - 17:00PM GMT - 00:00AM GMT Tuesday - 17:00PM GMT - 00:00AM GMT Wednesday - 14:00PM GMT - 00:00AM GMT Thursday - 14:00PM GMT - 00:00AM GMT Friday - 17:00PM - 01:00AM GMT Weekends - All Day (Unless something pops up) ALWAYS AVAILABLE ON DISCORD Give a brief overview of your achievements on the server: - Shadow Company BCMD Blackout - RC Delta Squad Scorch - Null Squad Kom'rk - Jedi General Eeth Koth - Jedi General Keelyvine Reus - Jedi Master (X2) - Sentinel Lead (X2) - Jedi General Anakin Skywalker - 501st TC REGL Commander Ridge - Game Master Officer (X2) - Game Master Chief - Chancellor Palpatine - Director (X2) - Admiral Yularen (X5) - Vice Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin - Quartermaster Lead - Covert Operations Captain - 212th Elder Knight Siri Tachi - Staff of the Week (X2) - Medal of Honor Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want the Grand Army to be at the end of your term?: I want to add to the upwards trend that a lot of the battalions are currently facing. I want to see my Regimental Commanders continue to be actively assisting and advising the battalions below them, looking out for one another where needed and representing High Command to the highest of standards. I want to see High Command function well with one another, and to allow greater cooperation between the regiments. Upon speaking to quite a few people from various battalions, it seems to me as the main thing that’s wanted is a Marshal Commander who is going to actively interact with them. This could range from attending battalion meetings, going to deployments or even just hopping into the teamspeak channel for an hour or so. I intend on doing all of these things in order to present High Command as an approachable and enjoyable position within the server. Another thing that Ihave noticed is that in recent times, there has often been occasions where successors have not been lined up for when somebody leaves an applicable position. I would like to work with my regimental commanders to ensure that all current BCMD’s have 1 or 2 solid potential applicants for both the BCMD positions under them but also the regimental commander position that they hold in case of a resignation. I believe that the lack of a strong successor has played a big part in why certain battalions have been struggling as of recent. I do NOT intend on being a Marshal Commander who is going to expect to be included in every decision that a BCMD/RCMD makes, I wish to take a hands-off approach when needed as I believe that if you are granted the role of an applicable position then you should not need to have your hand held when it comes to running/deciding on elements of your battalion/regiment. With this being said, I will still always be there as an advisor/confider for any situation that a BCMD/RCMD approaches me with. The key to success in the role of Marshal Commander (in my opinion) is the ability to remain flexible in your approach and to know your boundaries between your duties of your position & allowing others to fulfil their duties of the positions that they are in. How do you plan to improve relations within the Grand Army?: The improvement of relations between battalions starts with the relations of High Command, which I believe to be currently very strong. I aim to include myself in day to day battalion activities in order to maintain an active presence within the community & to give people a chance to interact with me personally. Issues tend to rise when the upper echelons of a unit/regiment begin to become complacent within their position, so I will be ensuring that this does not happen whilst I am in the position of Marshal Commander. The way I view things is that for the most part, there seems to be cliques within the server. This is not necessarily a bad thing but one thing that I’d like to see is these cliques expanding out to be more inclusive to newer members of the community. In (hopeful) replacement of Battalion vs Battalion I would like to introduce monthly challenges which warrant a smaller prize but keep people interested and competitive. This could be through simulation time trials, barc racing tournaments, tournaments on other free games (personally I think a Synergy Chess Tournament would be insanely funny to watch). Hopefully, this will allow for people to still have a competitive aspect of the server without it feeling stale after a while & resulting in a bad label. Simulations only go so far in terms of improving relations, I believe we need more things that are going to give people a sense of community & enjoyment, which hopefully explains my reasoning for the points I made above. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your Marshal commander rank?: Yes As always, I am happy to answer any questions below!

  4. Name: Frook RP Rank: Admiral of the Navy Suggestion: Give the navy datapads! Implementation: Add the datapad (weapon_hacktab) to the navy jobs Lore: Workshop content if applicable: N/A (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development") Other: I think it'd be a neat touch to the navy, especially seeing as we handle quite a lot of data. Not many people utilise the datapads much and I'd like to open the possibilities of the datapad related RP to the navy
  5. LOA extended until the 26th, as per request of the individual
  6. Hello everyone! The High Staff team are looking at bringing back Battalion v Battalion! However, we do not want it to be the same two game modes as last time so we are asking you for ideas! Some ideas that we have come up with: - Time Trials of a CIT run or Dupe - Build Battle on event server - Roleplay challenge - Movie Scene re-enactment - Dodgeball tournament - A BARC relay race Would people be interested in perhaps smaller weekly/biweekly competitions with smaller prizes each week instead of a grand tournament? Would people be interested in having it so you can choose your teams instead of having it just stuck to battalions? Ideas do NOT have to be GMOD focussed, if there is a popular game that is FREE and could pose as an exciting game mode for BVB then let us know below!

Had a 100 checkout, 106 checkout and a 180 on stream! I can definitely play better, but I'm proud with what I've achieved today! Thank you everyone who came to watch me, I love you all loads <3 I'll win the final next time! ❤

  18. 9/10, an extremely good event which really brought out some good roleplay. The side story arc added a nice touch to the main line of events & I was very happy to be involved with a lot of the roleplay in regards to the negotiations and the ending was rather unexpected! My extra long sentence structures & whatnot really threw people off ahahaha
