-1 I’ve just played Jedi for 24 hours straight (dude this is actually insane please help) and what I’ve concluded is that in certain situations the DC-17 Supercharged is an overpowered weapon in a CLOSE QUARTERS ENVIRONMENT. On open field where Hunters would fly around and try to out maneuver me they came to a conclusion that deflecting was my only option and worked well to stop them. As Jedi we shouldn’t be finding a way to kill a Hunter, we should be finding ways to outsmart our opponents and defending ourselves.. if you use that logic and that strategy, you will beat a Hunter with those weapons. (Wow who would’ve thought that RPing as Jedi in a PVP scenario would work)2 points

It seems like every time there comes a time to release a new exclusive weapon, it needs to be more powerful than the last one. Right now it's getting out of hand. When the first exclusive weapon, the mandalorian rifle came out it was completely busted, that resulted in its nerf. So it's not out of the possibility that these weapons can be nerfed. Also this is a very common weapons, its delusional if you think differently, I see 15-20 of these every day. As for the pay to win aspect.. sure, pay to win is unavoidable in alot of aspects. But you can't buy this weapon anymore.. I cannot PAY to be of equal strength, this isn't pay to win, this is Pay to Never Lose, as the only weapon beating you is the same one. So the dual pistols win every time. But when it boils down to it. This isn't about balance, this isn't about pay to win and this isn't about keeping people's privileges. We get on this server to have fun and if a single item is ruining the fun for a large population of this community then the owners of this weapon need to suck it up and quit with the mental gymnastics. We had this happen with the mando rifle when it was ruining fun. We had it with other weapons and we will certainly have it in future. This is not an exclusive issue to the dual pistols. Unless people get comfortable with weapons needing nerfed or buffed then we are not going to get a fun environment in the future. It's either nerfing it or accepting fun is going to be gone for alot of players and accepting GMs are gonna ban your weapon and ruining your own (I can't even use the scorched shotgun). +1. Suck it up. The terms say they can change items and they have done it before.2 points

-1 Lets be honest yall, A jedi will never being able to kill a bounty hunter. The jetpack itself is cancer enough for jedi. Very few jedi itself can deal with jetpackers. All the DC17s is doing is speeding up the process. Before we nerf the DC17s, we should nerf the jetpack. Now the next part, if you are full charging a bounty hunter by yourself, you deserve to die. You're just baiting yourself into a disadvantage fight. Like how some jedi died in the show, they charge in by themselves. You deserve the same fate as those jedi's if you are charging in by yourself. Most bounty hunters will have something to counter the jedi, if they deal with the jedi a lot. By now the bounty hunters at rekesh (if they were smart) would have anti jedi equipment to help defeat the jedis.1 point

-1 counter is banning them during deployments + you can counter them easily as a Jedi1 point

In the video you posted, you're deflecting blaster bolts into another Jedi, with the health I presume to be boosted. In a much more likely scenario, the hunter shooting at you will be 300/100, not Yoda HP. While in the video I have the hunter is standing still and not moving, I'm still just using about 50% stamina to block them back and kill them. I think the current state of the pistols force people to actually consider gunfights during RP PVP situations, such as completing a contract or performing a HVT quest (i.e. Into the Vault), and with the recent buff to Jedi in general with improved force powers and most lore characters getting a huge stamina buff, this seems like amore than reasonable thing for some hunters to use. You could also just...force leap away? Re-position and then engage the hunter again, or heal/regain stamina and then engage. For events, the grand populous is melting through droids too quickly and I think GM's need to start banning the pistols a lil more often than they are. In most PVP situations where these seem unfair it'll usually be hunters vs GAR. Right now the pistols provide an ability to level the playing field for combat, and I'm cool with that. -1 https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/iMjGy2XPxbN6GTljb/d1337otT3mMB?invite=cr-MSwzWTYsMTg0NDIyNTY2LA1 point

as much as I love the super pistols I gotta +1. Extremely overcentralizing weapon and GMs have had to make EJ and NPC HP annoyingly high to compensate. I think either slowing down the fire rate or cutting the clip size would be the best choices for nerfs1 point

+1 No shame, I cannot stand the supercharged DC-17s. It completely fucks with the balance of any Pvp interaction. It's unbearable1 point

Name: Abel RP Rank: LT (Approved by CMD+) Suggestion: Give Commander Gett, the in lore leader of Improcco Company, an ARC kit. Implementation: At the moment, Gett has a standard 41st officer kit. All that I'm asking for here is for his kit to be changed to a proper ARC kit. Lore: Commander Gett is the leader of Improcco Company. Gett commanded Improcco during the Skirmish at Dinlo as well as during their stationing on Coruscant for counter-terrorism operations. In universe, Gett is a capable leader, respected by his men and his Jedi, and in game he is in charge of the 41st's most elite squad. Out of universe, it's important to note that the position of Gett already requires ARC certification, so it is fair to give the whitelist the ARC kit, since whoever holds the position IS technically an ARC trooper. Add or Change: Change Job: Improcco Company Gett Slots: N/A Description: Improcco Gett is given the full ARC kit in place of his current officer kit Model: models/player/squares/improcco/gett/IC_gett.mdl Weapons: rw_sw_westarm5 , tfa_chaingun_ferty , rw_sw_wristblaster_heavy_blue, rw_sw_dual_dc17 Other: Gett would take up one of 6 ARC slots within the 41st.0 points

-1 they're still not as good as the shotgun if you get into close range. They shouldnt be nerfed unless the shotgun is and even then. It was a high cost and limited time item-1 points

Let’s not avoid the proof in the pudding though. One of the points in the suggestion was “Playing as a Jedi is extremely underwhelming when every time we get in a fight with Hunters they just jetpack up and spray you with them.” Which Hunters can do with any weapon. It’s not the supercharged, it’s that Hunters outpace Jedi and they are complained about when Jedi die to them constantly. And I disagree with you again. It’s not pay to win. The weapons are a tool, use them well you get a better chance of succeeding. Use them incorrectly and you’re as bad as any one else who uses weapons incorrectly. In conclusion, the weapon is ‘pay to win’ like any permaweapon is. The more money you spend, the more powerful weapon you get. The Cycler Rifle is a solid and powerful Perma Weapon that you can purchase with money if you buy credits. It has high damage, a good magazine, high range. If you use it well, you get great results. Use it incorrectly, you’re outta luck.-1 points
