  1. +1 FOR MY HVO BROTHERS! HOORAH!
  2. Huge +1. EOD is seemingly slowly being phased out. It’s depressing from a 501st perspective.
  3. Let’s not avoid the proof in the pudding though. One of the points in the suggestion was “Playing as a Jedi is extremely underwhelming when every time we get in a fight with Hunters they just jetpack up and spray you with them.” Which Hunters can do with any weapon. It’s not the supercharged, it’s that Hunters outpace Jedi and they are complained about when Jedi die to them constantly. And I disagree with you again. It’s not pay to win. The weapons are a tool, use them well you get a better chance of succeeding. Use them incorrectly and you’re as bad as any one else who uses weapons incorrectly. In conclusion, the weapon is ‘pay to win’ like any permaweapon is. The more money you spend, the more powerful weapon you get. The Cycler Rifle is a solid and powerful Perma Weapon that you can purchase with money if you buy credits. It has high damage, a good magazine, high range. If you use it well, you get great results. Use it incorrectly, you’re outta luck.
  4. I’m not saying avoid Events. Avoiding Base Raids is completely viable. It’s GM Discretion if Hunters are involved as enemies, so if you are upset with how Hunters are acting during an event, take it up with the GM of said event. As well, I never said ‘Do not play the game!’ What I had said was, PvP is avoidable, if you don’t like the current state of it, make a suggestion to even the playing field in a way that doesn’t disenfranchise a group. Hunters are marginalized in a way where they are despised by players. Some of it is good reasons and a lot of it is just unwarranted hate.
  5. I disagree. It’s a one time item that not many people got. They aren’t perfect either. It’s the person using them that makes them useful. Like any tool, if you use it incorrectly or rely on one trick too much, you’re going to lose. I’ve lost to Hunters before with the Supercharged. Although they aren’t perfect by any metric. They are useful, but not perfect. They are a medium to long range weapon that is avoidable as long as you play smart and don’t rush in like a hero.
  6. Base Raid as Jedi, go to the Temple or stay further back in the base like bunks. Easy solution. ROE I’ve covered twice now. 2-1, 4-2 ratios makes things difficult for Hunters to fight back and is a test of genuinely who is better which in general is just PvP. Hunters helping in events is apart of why they became a Hunter. Isn’t apart of why you became a Jedi was the title that came with it? It’s RP to the Hunters. So why disenfranchise them?
  7. If you play the HVT Quests, you put yourself at the mercy of being killed during those quests. It’s unavoidable if you do those quests, yes. And I said above to Mystic, if you run into situations where you are on the 2-1 or 4-2 scenario for example, Clones have the advantage on that part. Rules were defined for Hunters. People are acting like the new Hunter rules are devastating but reading them, they are fair and balanced.
  8. It’s totally avoidable. The rules are a 2-1 Ratio which easy to avoid when you go alone or in a group of 3 or more. If 2 hunters are going against 4 Clones. It’s gonna be a test of who’s doing better. And for Jedi, we travel alone most times so it wouldn’t be difficult for us to avoid the 2-1 rule.
  9. You’re completely correct. But if you look again. I said ‘You can completely avoid PvP.” PvP is apart of the server, it’s always going to be and has been for a long time from what I understand. Attempting to disenfranchise that just means that you are removing a core part of enjoyment for players. I know players that adore PvP Sims, playing as Hunters, and are completely fine with dying due to dumb situations. The other thing is, Hunters as I said, are already at a disadvantage at many points. And continuously, specifically Jedi complain about them the most. I enjoy playing as Jedi, and the truth is Hunters outclass is due to their ability to distance themselves from us. It’s why having Clones with us is a great way of keeping the playing field even. Jedi keep wanting to rush in and be the Main Character and throw a tantrum when they die. It’s honestly disturbing the amount of hate Hunters get for outpacing people in optional combat.
  10. -1 In the words of Sun Tzu “You spend the money, you get the funny.” In all seriousness though, they are good guns and while they might be unbalanced against Jedi. Hunters are already at a huge disadvantage against Jedi and Clones when it comes to numbers and the amount of backup, RP shenanigans, and rules. Simply put, if PvP is the only issue. Don’t do HVT quests that force you into PvP. Don’t participate in PvP. It’s easy. I don’t participate in PvP unless it’s dueling on my Jedi. I rarely do it on my clone, and about the same on my hunter. It’s easy to avoid. If you’re upset about PvP as a Jedi. That’s just life. We’ve got an OP weapon as well, I’ve heard Jedi complain more about BH jetpacks more than anything as well. At this point, we might as well just nerf Hunters into the ground. In conclusion, the Supercharged are a Perma Weapon like the Shotgun. The Shotgun and Flamethrower are both OP weapons as well. But, they give Hunters an edge they definitely use effectively. I say no, because ultimately there’s no further option to purchase them. This isn’t the shotgun or flamethrower where you can get them whenever. This was a One Time weapon, that probably won’t come back for the foreseeable future. I do not support it.
  11. -1 How dare you use God as a reason.
  12. Bug Type (Server:): Main Server Severity level (Low - Medium - High): Low Evidence (if you can): Sadly the only evidence I have is from Thexun who sold the items to me. Description of the bug: I bought the Bastila Shan Saberstaff, and a Green Inner, Blue Inner, and Cyan Inner, from Thexun and ended up having them disappear from my inventory even after I applied one of the crystals to my saber. It was annoying especially since I spent credits on them, and I cannot get them now. How can we recreate it: Not even sure honestly.
  13. Name: Squid RP Rank: Warrant Officer Suggestion: Tech Bonus for Torrent Company Implementation: Simply a document change for nine lore characters. Lore: Torrent Company is already the tech team of the 501st and we have a lot of tech based RP that we do. I think that, our necessity stems from this as a team that works with tech quite a bit. Description: Torrent Company is known for being very tech based, and we have a good amount of tech within our tryout, events, and other parts. I think that we should 100% have the tech bonus because of our usage of tech and we have the 332nd that have an extra +5 to EOD and I think simply a +5 for Tech would work, as we don't need much of a bonus to our tech simply because we aren't specialized so heavily into it like Rancor. I think that we are specialized enough beyond normal troopers though, that we need at least a +5 as a lore subunit with limited slots. I don't think it will injure or hinder tech RP at all if 9 Lore Characters who are known for out of the box thinking and being intelligent have a +5 to tech.
  14. +1 CTs deserve to be put down if they are stupid.
