I guess it's that time... I joined back to the server from being on a 6 month break. It was one of the most fun experiences i have had thus far. But with that comes the consequences and i think it is time. This is a long time coming. I don't really know how to do this but, i wanna say that everyone that i have gotten to know over the past few years are all really cool and funny people. Well maybe not all @Craigary Kinda smells like chicken sandwiches. But they are the ones who have made this such an enjoyable experience. But now, i don't think i can do it anymore. I gotta find some inspiration to go and do something. If i don't find that i guess imma be right back to square one: I wanna give some final wishes @kojak Don't change man, you are awesome, cool and funny. Jagger's Farewell Ep 2: The IRL Strikes Again I achieved more than I thought on this return (8 month boogaloo) -- I only came back with the intent to play around a bit and maybe help the 212th. I accomplished pretty awesome things, like becoming Head Admin, Game Master Manager, Sentinel Manager for Jedi, Foxtrot Lead Gregor, and of course BCMD Cody of the 212th. I created awesome server wide events, lead fun server wide roleplay, pulled off many joint training with all battalions on the server with 212th, and accomplished every objective I had in my term (all 13 of em). Not gonna lie, I probably would have kept going if I could. 2x Cody Term Jagger? ATT REG Jagger? (Tyennoch tried getting me to apply as I'm writing this LMAO sorry man gotta pass) GMC Jagger? Jedi Master Jagger? Director Jagger? Who knows. I would have done it all if it meant having fun and helping out the community. It was quite the experience having done all the things I did. Not gonna get too much into this, but the major reasons I'm leaving once again are IRL (Family problems/Financial issues/Job stress/Mental Health/Burnout). My life is wack and I no longer have the time/energy for Gmod. Nor do I any longer have the tolerance for the GMOD Culture/mentalities. Is it just me, or does Gmod drive people to do bad, stupid shit? Seems to bring out the worst of people. Y'all need to chill the fuck out and talk to each other upfront like men instead of the petty ego/gossip shit. Also, get off your asses and do some sick RP. You can RP anything if you just put your mind to it. I turned a guy farting by 212th bunks into a 2 hour long serious roleplay situation that got the entire server involved ( @Maggot ). Work together to achieve the experience you're looking for. My home of the 212th has also seen dramatic changes of the years. I've been through it thick and thin. In many ways, it has gotten better. However, it's no longer the 212th I grew up with. It's different now. I don't think it's a bad thing, but the fierce passion I once had for the battalion seemed to have faded with the ones I served with years ago. Kinda killed the motivation. Still love you current orange nuggets to all hell but get some fucking passion and do some shit. Small dick defense battalion pussy shit energy is kinda cringe. This is not a good example. Havoc squad added a big change to DU who lacked what 501st and other battalions currently have. Your arguments are illogical. Look at the battalions that are removed. They all at one point had mass amounts of effort put in and were ran effectively with sub-units. You are removing something that doesn't need to be removed. If it ain't broke don't fix it. 332nd doesn't bring anything new to the table, there is absolutely nothing special about them, ultimately you're adding a battalion to a battalion. TC is meant to and is effective because of the named characters, this is why torrent company trooper is always in contention for removal. TCT bring nothing new to the table, it's meant to be a stepping stone for a potential lore character and for troopers who are above and beyond the rest of the 501st. This suggestions is asking for the removal of TC and the addition of orange TCT. I might not play anymore and I know the stigmas of those who speak when not active in the community anymore, but this is an instance where I feel that the boomers coming out of the wood work to shit on the zoomers doesn't apply. Nobody here is being toxic and -1ing someone or something against the mass majority. This is just not something I or others outside of the old 501st think is a good idea.

"Personally, my experience with CG as a Developer/Founder on the server was miserable. I wasn't able to complete Development duties with 2-3 CG up my ass telling me they are the law and I can't do X/Y/Z (while I was literally in Admin Mode working on development concerns). CG has shown little respect to other commanders or battalions, quickly using their Baton-Penis to strike AUTHOR-I-TAY into the minds of any clone they may dislike." -Ron Lately, I couldn't agree more with Ron on this. CG mean well. I know this. But over the past couple weeks, I've heard so many people moan and complain that they cant do jack-shit on the server because CG's interpretation on the rules. This isnt as big of an issue as it has been before so kudos to CG High command for containing the demons with batons. Im personally taking a break from the server for a few days since me and a bunch of my pals here feel the in game community is getting a little toxic. We steppin away, no harm no foul. I get the struggles of CG, I was CG for months. Making all the way to the honorable Captain America(TM). Losing Palpy as a perma job sucks for RP. But CG has to prove to the server they know how to do more than "ArrestMinge.exe" and "GuardDuty.exe". Do passive RP that interacts with players more directly. Some ideas of that could be: Call squads or groups of troopers up to brig for questioning on scenarios you think of. Make it a small lil detective drama for an hour or so. Set up checkpoints and ask for ID's Call for a bunks inspection Break up a food fight in messhall. Possibilities are endless. Lately, there has been so much lack of PassiveRP between encounters and deployments. Its just become training -> AFK -> Encounter -> AFK. Since CG are almost always on, I'd like to see them spice it up with the troopers a bit and make something enjoyable for all parties happen. I have faith in CG. I know y'all can be more than just [OI MATE YOU GOT A LICENSE FOR JUMPING OVA THAT THERE SMALL HANDRAIL, OFF TO THE PATTYWAGON WITCHA NOW] I say this with no disdain for CG at all. 100% Was forgetting a lot of people, here is what I would have said if I remembered to have tagged you: @justuscloud5 Talk about reformed. I actually use to dislike this guy for all the mingey stuff he did. That's why I was a bit suspect when he was going up for REG CMD, but then he went ahead and became one of the most memorable ones. In fact, I think he's def one of the most loved REGs with real serious passion. Even the 212th boys liked it when you were around. Best of luck on whatever you do!

Due to the inability for the other candidate to run I'll change to a +1 capable leader, active member and what the battalion needs for atleast this time. As long as you treat 501st HC well youre a great choice

Most interactions I've had with CG both in and out of RP is that they act like they're superior to everyone. Almost as bad as SOBDE

I have been with Synergy CG since like the 2nd or 3rd generation back when they were still called shock troopers. Getting new jobs and weapons isn't going to do Jack shit. The mentality the officers need to display is what is going to save the battalion. I was there when the CG teamspeak picture was taken with like 14 CG lined up together(shock back then). Fuck wanting new jobs, there was less stuff then than there is now but it was still a blast because the higher ups displayed a positive and fun attitude without having sticks up their asses. It's the mentality that the battalion puts forth that decides how many people join the battalion and how much fun they will have. CG and staff can both be hated just because they have power to discipline people. If you join either you should expect to be disliked from some others so don't get all depressed when people show their ungratefulness.

If you guys want something added make it a server suggestion. You can't just sit and complain that you don't get stuff if you aren't even trying to get it for yourselves.

I'll say a few things on this. 1. Regards to CG not being looked after by the higher ups. - This is completely false CG is one of battalions we keep the most on eye on because of the intergration between them and staff, they are the only battalion whos discord we have HAs all join so they are readily available to be contacted or assist with issues. Any issue CG brings to us regarding a situation or rule conflict we try to resolve as soon as possbile, of cource this might mean we don't side in CGs favor but that happens to any battalion. 2. Getting cucked in updates. - I just went and checked the suggestions forums and I don't see any suggestions posted for CG in quite awhile, continue to post suggestion or repost ones that have gotten lost in the process, the dev team is working on this stuff for free and sometimes miss things as they are only human. 3. Subunit - This one kind of annoys me - I have heard that you are using your ARC as your elite "subunit" interanally and that's not really acceptable to you (Please correct me if I am wrong), well strap on your big boy pants and let me tell you the saga of Doom's Unit getting a sub-unit something that literally took generations of Doom's Unit officers, BCMDs, over 10+ failed suggestions, and a literal year to get one added or a special class added. Doom's Unit started with a small 4 man ARC team that had an internal designation, no names in-game, nothing to stand them apart from regular ARC troopers. Fast forward quite a few suggestions to get heavy classes with special weapons, buffed classes, etc. they finally got Havoc Squad. The amount of effort, blood, sweat, and tears that went into writng and rewriting suggestions until it was finally accepted by the community is massive. Long story short, work harder. nothing is given without significant effort. (Tl;dr Make a shit ton of suggestions) 4. This is more towards Andersons point of creating own RP and people not wanting to engage in it - You want to run check points that people have to check ID's at and if its a failed roll go all TSA on their asses? Fuck yes I am all for that shit its that small bit of RP that can change an experience for people, if some people don't like it so what? if you try to please everyone no one is going to be happy and if you are making a change to the way your battalion has fun to please others when its something that minorly inconviences them if they don't want to do it whats the point? Do things that are fun for the entire server to partcipate in! maybe make a massive baton training with CG trying to hunt everyone in the base down by invovling Commanders, BCMDs or HC to authorize or get it started. Host a dicsipline session where officers can RP dump off their troublesome troopers on you and you beat them back into the GAR standards and return them to their battalions. I am not going to respond to every little thing on this thread but I think I hit the main points, no one is more capaple of changes things more than you taking the initiatve and talking to people or making things fun on the spot. Also always going to be people that shit talk or are toxic which you can get corrected by talking to them, COC or going to staff just make sure you got evidence of it or else it just fizzles out!
