Spec was deployed to take back an extraction facility after ATK set up a FOB on the planet. They followed a trail to a large supply of Cyanogen and secured the resource for the Republic

Biggest critique is the long duration mixed with usage of wanting to mute in TS. Basically what this event went a bit too long for trying to force combat RP. Muting in TS is a good tactic for more individual events, this was just on too big of a shoot'em up scale to make it work effectively.
If you want to mute in TS and force constant roleplay we need to have more then just each other to riff off of for the event, as well as being more spread out. With everyone being very close together and only having each other to go off of we end up with a situtation where everyone is trying to talk over everyone else, and after some time starts to dwindle as people get tired of talking over each other.
Biggest recommendation would be to spread us out more (map is definitely big enough), give us some none players to interact with, or shorten the event. Any of these three individually could have worked. You'll reduce talking over each other, increase things to talk about, and ensure we don't get tired by the duration of it as far as roleplaying.


On a positive the difficulty was actually great for the amount of people here, felt like a good slow push with some deaths and not a cake walk. Secondly the usage of map space was great. A really good loop and objective layout. Like this dupe was incredible and I would like to see it again. Do not make this dupe a one and done it would be a disservice.

Honestly, it really dragged. I hate being this harsh, but there was really very little we had to do, gameplay-wise. It would have been extremely nice to have some sort of long form RP section, or building, what have you- I found myself really zoning out towards the end with just non-stop move forward shoot action. I think SOBDE and Spec are really good for RP right now, maybe in future deployments have it be more of a more open, RP focused situation. I wouldn't really complain if we had stopped moving at the 3rd assault part (with the big raised road), but after that it got super monotonous. I honestly would have been happy if you had just given us 20 minutes at the base and just said "Chill & RP for 20 minutes". 
That being said, that build was absolutely amazing. You could definitely re-use it in at least a couple more deployments. I really suggest developing some RP sections for it, or cutting off different parts, etc.
Something that could work is sending different groups to each of the different objectives to make the action a little more condensed, time-wise. 

P.S. No TS is AWESOME for more RP focused stuff, but after a while, not being able to talk to eachother OOC was kinda dull because at that point, we kinda just wanted to hang out while shooting stuff if we were just gonna shoot stuff. It's hard to be FULL in character while also doing a shooty event for 2 hours straight.

7/10 was a shoot em up, like others stated if there was more of RP, we have a lot of jobs with specifications that are really helpful during events, would of been cool to see something like that happen during this, a side mission to a misson.

7/10. Nice job with the build. You did alot with a little space which is always impressive. I also have to say the design of the road was pretty elaborate which was great.
I think the dragging to the end could have been avoided a bit with some more crowd control functionality (vehicle, explosives', less droids etc) even though I know the story of the event was no explosives.

The story overall was nice I liked the idea would have been cool to have a bit of lore in the first complex about maybe experiments with the chemical or what it is being used for or something cool like that, that we could play off of. 

One of my biggest pet peeves with CS-Desert Nite is you can't see shit at range on the surface (for crosshair this is ass). But I like your use of the commando droids which had white eyes so I could still make them out nice touch.

The use of consequences for explosives was great too as it made us weigh the consequences of a delayed push but getting to kill more droids.

 

Also the no TS3 rule is great but for this event it didn't work great for me because we were very close together which made it hard to talk to one another without talking over each other. So it's usually better to use this for more PassiveRP stuff where people are calmer or for a bit more spaced out events so I can hear the people in local chat better,
