I was ARFL for a month, and in that time my ARFOs and I rebuilt the regiment, creating new documents and gathering players within the battalion to join the regiment. During that time, I believe I didn’t commit any mistakes, but I did learn how to lead a regiment, which had helped me later in the future to become the leader of Improcco Company, attain Regimental Lead, and achieve the rank of Commander.

Between the period of 11/17/21 and 12/15/21, I was a Heavy Officer, which increased my understanding of being in a different regiment. While it seemed like I was in a different battalion, I knew I was still in the same place where all my friends were: The 41st Elite Corps. I don’t expect this experience to be a staple for a broader example of actually being in different battalions in different regiments, but can attribute that experience to being a Heavy Officer.
A while later, I had earned Regimental Lead. I help ensure that the regiments run well, make sure the members get along with the leader, and help fill positions. Along with this, I think of ideas that I can present to the regiments that are viable. While I haven’t really implemented any, I do have a couple that I will be presenting to the 41st soon.
Why should you become a Battalion Commander?:
I believe I should become the Battalion Commander of the 41st for a few fundamental reasons. One of which being how the battalion members act towards other battalions. I don't want everyone to be against one another, or overly minging.
While we have taken measures to prevent this, I feel as though it could be better. Promoting passive roleplay that doesn't clash with server rules or making it feel forced is a good way to start. A change in the rank structures may also work, as we are quite a large battalion. Without introducing merits, we would be able to judge more on their performance within their ranks. This would be achievable at my rank, though with resistance, which happens to most changes. Another idea we could promote are battalion goals like Xaze has implemented in CG. We can incentivize the NCOs+ to host things, do things. This will work both long and short, but will gradually lose its effectiveness. However, I think this could be the start to increased activity from the NCO core and above.
There is no “one-size-fits-all” scenario that works here, but doing is better than trying. Hosting Battalion Meetings or ranked meetings would also promote interactivity within the battalion. Currently WO+ manage the NCO meetings while CMD+ manage the Officer meetings. While the Officer meetings end decently, the NCO meetings are seen as a joke within the battalion. I plan to mediate this by increasing the seriousness and professionalism the battalion shows when it is deemed necessary. Some officers would get them to attend by threatening them with some form of “PT or else.” However, these threats wouldn’t do anything but make them attend. The NCOs will most likely pretend to pay attention, but would mock the leaders in private. This is not how an NCO or officer should act, and so I wouldn’t threaten them, but encourage them.

Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?:
I want the members of the battalion to get on and enjoy their time on the server with the battalion or with players outside of 41st. But at the same time, I want the battalion to be serious when dealing with issues related to the battalion as a whole. While this balance is hard to achieve, work put into achieving this is better than leaving it unnoticed.
Along with that, I want the 41st to be the core of Reconnaissance within the Attack Regiment, as before we were placed into ATK, we were once in the Recon regiment. In a way, it is symbolic, with the 501st as the hard-hitting ground forces, 212th with the air support, and 41st with the scouting. I also hope that I can promote inter-battalion activity, achieving a prosperous union greater than it is right now between the three battalions.
In summary, I want the 41st to be a serious yet friendly battalion that meshes well with the other battalions within our regiment
